IPhone 5 silent button damaged? iPhone vibrates constant when I put it to silence.

As the title says. I have had this problem for a couple of weeks. When I turn the silent button on, my iPhone vibrates constantly. It even signals its turning off and on silence mode repeatedly. I dont know how or why it happened, it might have happened when I lost the iPhone one time.

did a hardware button reset yesterday,
not sure wheter it will work. i have an

Put in a supported SIM from the carrier that locked the iPhone.

You might not have enough space on your phone.
Look on iTunes and see how much space the photos you copied over is consuming.

Macbook Pro turns off when I put my iPhone by the left speaker

I have a Retina Macbook Pro from 2012 and an iPhone 5c. When I put my iPhone in a certain spot just under the left speaker of the computer, the computer will go into sleep mode without any buttons being pressed. Is this something I should be concerned about, because it seems really odd.

Magnets inside the iPhone can trigger sleep. That is normal.
Keep iPhone away from the MBP.
When you close the lid, magnets placed inside the lid triggers the sleep.

well if the switch isnt working then what i would do is restart, reset, and then restore the iphone if that doesnt work it is hardware and if your within your limited hardware then it can be replaced for free

Switching to silent button on the left of iPhone

I have the new iPhone 3Gs and when i move the switch on the side from sound to silent the screen does not turn on and show this was done. It did on my old 3G phone. Is this in issue or is this normal or an issue?

You should feel it vibrate when you switch to silent, but it will not light the screen. The probable reason for the change it that you switch to silent to avoid disturbing others. A sudden flash of light could be disturbing in a dark theatre. You can tell the switch position by touch (and the vibration), so it is not necessary to light the screen.

Get help with buttons and switches on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If any of these buttons or switches aren't working, follow these steps. Test after each step:
Check for debris or dirt around the button or switch and clean it with a soft cloth.
Remove all protective films and cases that might interfere with the button or switch.
