IPhone 5 sound on video is almost nonexistent

The iPhone 5 takes great video, but the sound is almost not there at all. Husband still has his iPhone 4 and the sound is fine. Any thoughts? I looked at settings and the sound is all the way up, and it isn't a problem hearing messages, etc.

Actually, I stumbled on the answer. I was playing with the open apps section, and there was a volume button. This is how I did it: I double clicked the home button, and all the "open" or recently used apps come up where you can close them out. I swept them to the right and and a "play" signal came up, and I swept right one more time and a volume button came up. It was set in the low to middle range, so I put it at full and took a video, and it worked. Hope this helps!

Recurring theme with the 4s losing alerts except for the phone ringing. Most complaints seem to center on the 7.1 upgrade. The fix is dodgy, putting in a charger, playing a you tube video then pulling out the charger and wiggling it until you get the sound back. When you get the sound back, the volume buttons start to work again. Alternate solutions involve cleaning the docking port with a toothbrush, running a pick over the electrodes etc.

There are two places where vibrations can be set.
One is the Settings > Sounds
The other area is Settings > Notifications
If you have an app set to Alert, it may have a vibration set for it.

My iPhone 4S has no sound for videos. Only videos though, and no matter the source. I can't hear my own videos I record, videos from YouTube, Facebook, Instagram etc. I'm operating on 7.0.2. No, it's not muted with the side button but I can't figure out why it's not working.

for the key clicks try to go under settings>sounds and see if the "change woth buttons" is pushed to ON. and try to change the volume when your clicking the keyboard
if that doesnt work, then try playing a song to see if your volume is down, or if your speakers are capoot

You can only sync everything with your one syncing computer/iTunes library. Yu can:

Docked iPod only outputs sound during video to TV

I have a 5G iPod in an Apple dock, connected to my TV using a Monster audio cable and an S-Video cable. For some reason, it only outputs sound during videos or a photo slide show - not at all for music only playback. I'm baffled! Any idea why? It's a Panasonic plasma, and I've tried three different inputs. None work for music, but video is fine.

The iPhone 4, unlike iPod, doesn't ask you to set for PAL or NTSC. In fact, in the SETTINGS/Video menu it only asks if you want to "Start Playing From Beginning", "Closed Captioning" and "Home Sharing". I was surprised it had no settings like the iPod at all.

Can't play sounds on videos when using 'Facebook', music plays

Sorry I don't. It just happens at random and usually most YouTube videos and other similar styled videos. I'm not really a tech guy but it just seems like there is something else going on. Everything else on my PC works fine except when I want to open a video using flash. It isn't just one site or one video it is nearly every flash video and it's almost like they're loading one at a time except in no order if there is more than one tab. Even if it is just one video, it takes a long time to load.
Imagine going to YouTube to load up a vid and the controls or progrss bar never load, it just stops and only a solid black box is displayed. Eventually the controls load and it seems like it's about to play at any moment.. only the waiting lasts 5 minutes. Even if you refresh it still has to do this all over again.

No sound while video recording on N500!

Hello! I just bought Lenovo 3000 N500 for my sister who is in Germany...I want to check everything on laptop, because I want her to use it to skype me...Everything is lovely, except I can't get sound while video recording...Is it possible this laptop has a webcam, but no integrated microphone? But when I go and use windows sound recorder that comes with Vista it records audio...But I can't get video to work with audio recording in the same time...Anybody there with a solution? Same problem. Here's my solution:
For now i record video using an app calle "Video FX Live". It records sounds clearly. Native iphone app still doesnt records any sound.
So this proves the sound issues during video recording or facetime IS an IOS BUG.

Adobe stop developement of Adobe Flash Player for all mobile devices almost two years, ago.
Mobile Flash player doesn't exist for either Apple iDevices on iOS or Android device and their apps.
So, Apple is NOT going to be able to help you.
Puffin, SkyFire and Photon all charge a little for their web browsers because they are THE ONLY ONES, that provide any type of limited support for Adobe Flash Player.
There are no other apps or web browsers that will allow viewing of Adobe Flash Player based content.

Choppy Sound on video import

I use a Sony HD Handycam to record video. During playback on the camera the sound and video is flawless. But when I import it into iMovie HD the sound is choppy and difficult to understand and the video playback is also choppy, almost like it's playing back at a higher speed than it was recorded.
How do I solve this problem? HELP!

• Did You record in LP-mode (90min on a 60min tape) ? Don't
And if it is so:
Use same Camera + set iMovie pref to NOT import as individual clips
• Free space on internal (start-up) hard disk less than 10Gb ?
I try to have at least 25Gb free
• Lot's of audio clips > 50 ?
Mix down audio to one audio .aiff file
• Other programs running in background
Turn them off + Simple desktop back ground (not animated/changing)
Turn off energy save
Turn off screen saver
Don't use "File Vault"

Thanks for the response! I use Display Record with various sound/video themes and would like to include them in my presentations. For what it's worth, I will make a suggestion to Apple, to make the muting of sounds, during recording a user preference/setting.

IPhone Jabber Client Video Calls Unavailable

I'm having trouble getting my iPhone to make video calls. I can make video calls via J4W with the same CUCM/IM-P cluster, and my iPhone Jabber client is having no problem getting IMs, presence information, or making standard voice calls, but when I go to "Settings - Audio and Video", it simply has a message that says "Video is currently unavailable"
The "Dual-Mode for iPhone" device in CUCM has video calling enabled. What other settings could I be missing?
