Iphone 5 stolen after 1 day
is there anything i can do as i just had the open an went out for dinner. got my phone stolen but i didnt have the apps downloaded i no its not going to help me much as i should of had them on. but they person who stole the phone keeps turning it on an off as they rang a taxi on it 2day. i was wondering is there any way to track it when they use it.
They answered to me last night an said you have lost your phone an hung up. an help would be good
If you didn't enable Find My iPhone there is nothing you can do

My iPhone was stolen a few days ago. It appears to be offline on the Find My iPhone app. If the person who has it turns it on only for a brief moment and then turns it off immediately, will the location still be found? Once it returns to being offline will the location still be sent to me? And also, how can I retrieve my pictures from my iCloud?

I just got iPhone 5s and after a day when I open the notifications from the top that make the phone shows the apple sign and back to unlock what can I do as I reset all settings and nothing changed ??
So after looking a bit closer i have noticed that when i have the phone plugged into the computer it shows the songs but when i dont have it plugged in and i go so the song icon on the bottom of the music menu screen it says i have no songs!

IMEI of my new iPhone 3G modified after 2 days (ITALY)

I have a "little-little" problem !!
After one day of purchase of iPhone 3G (TIM-Italy),this was blocked (impossible also turned off). Following advice of Italian Apple support, I used iTunes to repair it. ALL OK
The day after, this was blocked (signal lost) by saying that was linked to iTunes to run the release, returned to TIM center to Brescia told me that the phone had been tampered with some software program (?????).
After calling Apple told me that we have tried to unlock iPhone with programs that are not iTunes & let alone authorized Apple, then we have explained that the guarantee has lapsed for trying to unlock iPhone!
I just wanted to tell whether it was possible to reactivate the warranty because I never tried to tamper in any way iPhone, I do not ever connected with programs that are not iTunes, and sincerely I would not ever!
The only thing that makes me really angry is that every month I pay 50 Euro to TIM for the contract & therefore hoped in the wake of the guarantee and repair or replacement of iPhone!
The Apple support doesn't check the iPhone becuase, for it (the support) nothing can be done
I don't know if this problem is only software or if some hardware fault can cause the IMEI modifiation.
Now, after a month, after paied the iPhone, after ....... I can't use it.
My iPhone is a beatiful paperweight (beautiful but too expensive).
Help me, please!! I'm not an hacker.

Back Up Old Macbook (new one stolen after one day)
I'm trying to backup a macbook pro that we are now using again because the macbook air that had taken its place on the Time Capsule was stolen on the first day of use. Do I have to re-name the macbook pro that has been used since then?

So the new MBA inherited the old Mac backups.. and now you need to change back.
You might simply find the change back impossible.

My iPhone was stolen a few days ago and I was wondering if I need to change my Apple ID. Who would like to help me?
I would change any passwords for any email accounts setup on the device. Apple ID passwords are not saved with the exception of iCloud. If you have your icloud account setup on the device and the Find My iPhone isn't working then the device may have already been restored or at the very least turned off. Generally it's a safe thing to reset any passwords for any accounts you had setup on the iPhone when a device is lost or stolen.

My iphone 4 does not register calls made to it. if i make a call from another phone, i can hear it ringing, but it does not register on the iphone. also, i do not get any messages when this happens. then after a day or two it decides to start working.
Clean iPhone charging port with clean dry toothbrush. See if better. If still problem clean charging port again with toothbrush and small amount of Isopropyl Alcohol.

I had my iphone 4 stolen, replaced with new one same day and downloaded info saved to the cloud. The next day all that info disappeared and have not been able to get any of the old info back. Is there a way to get this info.
I think you will have to do a complete restore--you will lose any info added since last backup. Connect phone to computer, select it in souce list. Next, click on Summary tab, click Restore. In the next dialog box, click Restore--your phone will be erased and the latest software will be installed. Click agree to terms and phone will restart. Then you will see the phone setup screen--click on Restore from Backup and select the most recent backup. Obviously, this will only work if you have a backup on the computer. If not, check Set up as New Phone, click continue, then wait for the process to finish.

I have just purchased the iPhone 5s and my previous phone was backed up on iCloud. However when I restored this on my new phone my photos are still being restored after 4 days. Shows the amount there but no pictures? Is there anything I can do to get them back as my other phone has now been cleared. On my iCloud storage it still shows that my previous phone had all the info still?? I'm confused!
Many users have lost photos while preforming a restore from backup or upgrading the iOS. Recall, only photos in the camera roll are backed up to iCloud. There is a way to turn backups for camera roll on/off, perhaps these users had camera roll turned off.

Settings>icloud>Storage & Backups>Manage Storage, tap the device's name and on the next screen, be sure Camera Roll is turned on.
IMPORTANT...
Photos should be regularly synced to a computer (like you store photos from a digital camera) using either USB via iTunes (on a mac use iPhoto or Aperture to move them to an album) or using photo stream. If using Photo stream, but sure to move the received photos to a permanent album. If you have been doing that, then you can sync those photos back to your device.
Or, you can find other apps in the app store that send camera roll photos to a service like Dropbox.
If you haven't been saving photos except relying on iCloud to store them in a backup, then that is risky, as many users have discovered. I'm afraid I have no advice in this case - there is no "cure". -
I Am currently having trouble with my iphone 5. After I update my iOs to 8.0.2 i can't update and install new apps on my phone it always on a "waiting mode". I already restore the setting and its works but after two days problem happened again. Pls help
Choose System Preferences from the Apple Menu.
Choose Software Update from the View menu.
Click Update Now.
Select the items you want to install, then click Install.
Enter an Admin user name and password.
After the update is complete, restart the computer if necessary. -

What is the "Voxer"?
If you set up the find my iphone feature on the iphone itself and it is on and it has not been restored, then you may be able to locate using icloud.com.
Otherwise, it cannot be tracked. -

I have purchased IPhone 5S in Florida Mall when I was traveling to US from India.I bought this phone in unlocked condition. I started my phone when I came back in India. After few days (4-5 days) it started giving blue dump regularly. Then I have contacted Authorized service centre (Maple) in India (Maharashtra – New Mumbai) and then Maple checked with Apple and Apple said this phone is not under International Warranty. But when I purchased this phone form Apple Florida Mall ,I have been told by Zach McKenzie (Sales Person) that it has an international warranty and u can approach to any authorized centre in India for any issues. And that’s the reason I have bought this phone.
But now I am in big trouble so tell me how can u help me in this regards.Note this is a user forum hosted by Apple. You aren't talking to Apple here just other users.
