Iphone 5 unable to connect and sync with itunes
I have updated my iphone 5,2 to IOS7.1.2 and experiencing syncing with iTunes on windows 7. iTunes doe not recognize my iDevice, any body that have a solution for that

You will need a SIM to activate it. There is no way around that. The SIM does not have to be active, but it must be from the correct carrier if the phone is carrier locked. Once activated, it can be removed and used like an iPod touch, but if you ever have to restore or update iOS, you will need the SIM to re-activate it.

Iphone 5 backup and sync with iTunes ..says i need more memory
I just bought more icloud memory for my iphone 5...because it said i needed 1.4 gb of space to backup... It would not let me sync my iphone on itunes. I still can not back up..What should I do? I guess no reason to buy that 10 GB from itunes.
You probably need more free space on your phone, not in your iCloud account. (Additional iCloud storage doesn't increase the space on your phone.)
Check Settings>General>Usage to see how much available space you have. If you need more and your music is in your iTunes library, delete your music by going to Settings>General>Usage>Music, swipe across All Music, tap Delete. Then back up and sync with iTunes, and sync back the music you still want on your phone. -
I just Synced My iPhone 6 which had close to 2000 photos to a new computer (windows PC) and synced with iTunes.Now all my previous photos have been deleted which were there on my phone. Please suggest a way to recover those Photos . Thanks
P.S -I have not taken any backup of those photos. So please suggest any software or any other method.If those photos were part of the camera roll, they were part of the backup as well and you can restore from the latest backup you made on the old computer. After that transfer the photos to the new PC, follow this article: iOS: Importing personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer
Then sync again to the new one, which will erase the phone again.
You can also try to copy the backup folder from the old computer to the new one and see if the old backups get recognized, check this article to find the location on your PC:

If the photos were not taken with the phone, your data is gone, photos you sync from iTunes to the phone are not included in the backup. -
How can I sync my iphone to my home computer (to sync with itunes music) AND my work computer (to sync with Outlook calendar)?
Sorry iphones are meant to be sync to one iTunes media library.
You could copy your music and put it on your work computer and then sync it.
If you try to sync to one and then sync to other its going to wipe the phone and remove the old sync with the new sync. -

IPhone 4S won't do wifi sync with iTunes
I can't get 4s iPhone iOS 6 to do wifi sync with iTunes on my Mac Pro. Running Lion on Mac Pro and latest itune version. Current with all app and software updates.
No, the front screen has never been replaced before but I'm starting to think that the display connector might still have moved a little, I'll try and open it today.

Need Help, my Ipod Nano won't connect and sync with ituens
So I downloaded the most recient itunes update the other night, and now my ipod nano will not sync with itunes. My computer when I search devies and printer shows in devies as (apple ipod USB device, and for unspecified devices Apple Moble Device USB Driver), and I have tried other ipods around the house and they will sync with my itunes with no problem.... also another thing is that if I close the itunes and try to reopen itunes with my nano is pluged in it will not open. But when I remove this particular Ipod, and try to reopen itunes ill will open.
I have tried redownloading itunes a million times, used different USBs, restored itunes to new, and restarted ipod, and have restarted the computer a million times.
Why is it that this one nano will no longer link to itunes so that I can update my music on it. Please any one begging you, I am loosing my mind a patiences. Anyone help me please, I just want to update my music on this ipod.

Please and thanks.I saw in one thread related to this that you have to make sure that the process "iTunes Helper" is running when you have your iPod connected. You can see that by running Activity Monitor, select All Processes, and then look for iTunes Helper. Based on everything else you tried, there could be a physical problem with your Nano. One of the pin connections may be bad. Will it show up on another Mac's iTunes?

IPhone 4: Hangup while attempting to sync with iTunes
I have an iPhone 4 that I sync with iTunes and updated my apps via the updates on my phone's AppStore via wireless with no issues at all since I bought he phone when it first came out. Until last evening.
I saw that I had about 8 app updates on my phone, and tried to update them on my phone as usual. They all got stuck waiting and wouldn't progress at all.
I tried a lot of stuff from the different forums - power phone off and on, reset, close and restart itunes, turn cloud off and on, etc...
the phone not only didn't update the apps, but It wont sync with itunes either. iTunes recognizes the phone, but then gets hung up making changes.
iTunes is up to date, and I have logged out and back in with my apple ID, and even tried removing all 3500 songs, but the sync would hang up before it got tomthe point of removing them. When I ran diagnostics, it said that there were no problems.
I was able to get the apps off of the phone, and set itunes to remove them so it wouldn't try to reinstall them. Still no-go.
I back up to iCloud nightly, so I could do a restore if necessary, though I'd prefer to try other options first.
Any additional advice, guidance, etc? I would really appreciate any suggestions!Hello, TheHelper1964.

Since I upgraded to os 7 my voice memos are not recording and syncing with Itunes.
In the app the recordings show 0 time and when I sync with Itunes there is no recording listed at all. Any thoughts?
I found the answer, at least it worked for me.
Here ya go:
1) open the Voice Memos app on your iPhone
2) on any memo: click the little blue arrow on the right
3) Click the next arrow in the top most box this will put you in the "Label" screen
4) From the "Label" screen: click the arrow next to "Custom"
5) In the Custom screen: give the memo a name (click Done)
6) Click the left arrow (top left) to go back to your memos.
You'll see that you memo as a name. I changed mine from "4:25 PM" to "Fishcakes".
7) Sync your iPhone and you are good to go.
NOTE: If for some reason this doesn't work, go back into the same "naming" list on your Iphone voice memos app, and try one of the standard labels instead of a custom one. With one that wouldn't sync, I changed it to "Memo" and then synced it again, and then it worked. -
IPhone 4S (iOS 6) no longer syncing with iTunes
Hi, this is my first post on Apple Support. I have several questions that I hope someone will be able to answer. Some regarding my iPhone, and some regarding my MBP.
For starters, my iPhone 4S is running on iOS 6, and no longer syncs with iTunes. I am no longer able to add new music, I can only manage my photos through iPhoto. I updated to iOS 6 while at the Apple store and was told that everything transferred to my iPhone would now go through iCloud, which I wasn't too happy about. I thought that my phone was no longer syncing because of iCloud, and therefore deleted my iCould account (which didn't have anything important on it anyway), but that did not fix the problem. Rather than syncing, iTunes asks me to restore my phone back to factory settings. I considered doing that, but I don't have a back up on my MBP, so that is out of the question. Also, before restoring, iTunes does not give me the option to back up, which I thought it would.
I would like to know how to make it so that my phone syncs with iTunes again so that I can manage my music etc. Does it have to do with iOS 6, iCloud, my MBP, or what? Is my iCloud still in the picture, even though I have deleted my account? If so, how do I disable it completely?
Second question. On a different, older MBP (not mine, and probably running on old software), I burned a Maxell DVD-R containing just under 4GB of music. However, when I insert the disc in my MBP (running on 10.6.8), the disc reads as blank. I tried restarting with the disc in, as well as ejecting and inserting it several times, but nothing is doing the trick. I'm not sure if it's the brand, my MBP's optical drive, or the fact that it was burned on a computer that is running on earlier software than mine. I've read around on the internet with no luck. I have received two pop-ups, one that says it's blank and another that says it is not readable by my computer. Why?
I've been a long time user of Apple, and rarely have any complaints, but my iPhone is really quite screwed up. The DVD-R issue is not a big deal, but I rely on my iPhone extremely (as most do), and not being able to manage it through iTunes is such a pain. I really hope someone can help!Wow. I never got back to this, I apologize. Today I started searching around online again randomly for a solution on Apple support. The message I am getting is "iTunes cannot read the contents of the iPhone. Go to the Summary tab in iPhone preferences and click Restore to restore this iPhone to factory settings." I've tried many different things both on my computer and my iPhone such as reseting networks, changing the cellular data options, restarting my modem and restarting the wifi on my computer. None of it seems to work. Even if anything were to work temporarily until iTunes 11, I would love that, but I can't seem to find a temporary fix.

This is beyond frustrating. I just wasted 70 dollars between a new battery and gas for my ipod 80gb classic. It was having major issues syncing and freezing with itunes. I tried everything possible and noticed that a lot of people have been having the same issues with their ipod classics as well. I must have restored it several times and now it just totally bit the dust. Now I have to shell out 130 dollars to send it in to apple to be rebuilt/fixed. This is nonsense and I just cant believe apple isn't doing anything to address this issue. My ipod was doing great for about nearly 5 years and now this. I even down-graded to itunes 10.7, but by the time I had it set up to try, that's when my ipod totally failed and will not even come on. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Here is what worked for me:
My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc. -
Ipod touch 2g bluetooth will not connect after syncing with iTunes
Had my ipod touch 2nd gen working with Bluetooth pairing to my Jambox and Boss DVD player and previously had worked with my AudioEngine Bluetooth device. Had a problem with musc files giving me an 1309 error message, was able to just select music manually without sync until this problem came up.
Had to initiate the auto Sync with iTunes which removed the error message for Music and since then my Bluetooth pairing has stopped. Have ver 4.21 and the Bluetooth shows the bluetooth mac address.
The Love is gone for this device. It will not pair up with devices that were working under bluetooth last week.
Anyone have any ideas?- On the iPod try resetting network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. You will have to repair Bt defive s and rejoin wifi networks
- Reset the BT devices and repair. You have to see the BT device manual for how to reset them. -
my itouch cannot connect to internet...but the other day i can use the wifi im connected,but since yesterday eventhough im connected to wifi and the signal is very strong,when im trying to login on FB it says unable to connect to FB,same with YM it says internet connection is offline when in fact i have a strong signal of wifi..
