Iphone 5 unable to connect or recognize wifi
Brand new Iphone 5, unable to recognize any WiFi networks. At first was picking up networks in range but not connecting. Now when i turn WiFi on it just searches in Choose a network with nothing coming up. I know there are IOS 6 issues with wifi but none of the solutions in searches i have found have worked. Please help.
hi ive had problems as well with wifi,but its working ok now,my router was set to wep key so i changed it to wpa-psk then i wentto wifi on phone then what ever your network name is choose forget this network then put network name in manually then put key in seems to work for me,before i done this if i switched my phone off then put it back on i would have to put network key in every time but not no more seems to be working fine touch wood

ThanksI called Apple and explained the problem. After I explained the wifi connection problems, they said it was a hardware issue and sent me to my local Apple store and exchanged mine for a new iPhone. I backed it up prior to getting the new phone and it was easily restored.

Meanwhile, iphone 4, blackberry and android connect wifi very well under same wifi environment.I had the same issue and usually a reset of all the network settings on iphone did the trick.
this method did not work with my iphone 5 . i did something in router settings that seemed to change things a lot, for the better.
the wifi channel usually the routers use is channel 11, so i changed mine to channel 1. this solved my issues and the iphone connected just fine to the network, without restarting the iphone or resetting any settings or switching off and back on the wifi.

My iPhone was unable to connect to my workplace unsecured wifi. The IP address, as well as the other details are as follows:
IP Adress : 10.182.203.17
Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.192
Default Gateway : 10.182.203.1
Preferred DNS Server : 161.142.201.17
Alternate DNS Server : 161.142.2.17
I faced no problem in connecting to the network using my laptop or other mobile devices. Please advise for the correct setting as this is the only mean of communication on my workplace. Thank you.Is your employer doing MAC address filtering? A completely unsecured wireless network in a place of business just seems stupid. MAC address filtering would only allow specific network adapters to connect (for example, those in company owned/approved devices) and would not be apparent to anyone attempting to connect casually.
If so, you'll have to ask them to add the MAC address for your phone to the permitted devices list. -

Can your iPad sends iMessages, Facetime calls or something through the internet?
If yes, try to reset your network settings, double check the Restrictions settings, check the Safari settings...
If not, you have some problem with iinternet connection. Look at airplane mode is off, if your iPad recognizes WiFi connection or not, check the Restrictions settings, if other device also faces the same problem with internet connection
If still not working:
1. Go to the Settings App.
2. Tap on Wi-Fi
3. Your chosen network will be ticked. Tap on its white arrow over a blue circle button to its right
4. Tap on DNS
5. Replace the current information with 8.8.8.8,8.8.4.4
6. Try visiting a website with Safari to see if this works.

Suddenly my ipad is unable to connect to our wifi. It buffers all the time?
All other devices are working normally. Is this a fault wityh my ipad or have I inadvertantly altered some setting?Some things to try first:

I'm unable to connect to home wifi with iphone. My computer is able to connect as usual.
Buried deep in that link is a suggestion to turn the router off and on again to reboot it. This should be the FIRST thing you try, not the last. It will usually resolve the problem.

Hi, I was working at home with my iPad, everything was going well. It went out battery and after this I am unable to connect to the wifi at home. Before getting out battery no problem, and now it sees the router signal but it is unable to connect to it.
Some things to try first:

If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

my iPhone 4 won't connect to our WiFi at home, but will at other WiFi spots. However, my parent's iPhones work and connect just fine at home using WiFi. I have called and talked to several people and no one seems to be able to help me.
The two things to try first are renewing your network lease, forgetting the network and if that doesn't work to reset all networks. You might have tried one of these but I'll repeat the steps just to make sure.
Settings > Wi-Fi > tap the blue arrow to the right of your network name > Renew Lease
If that doesn't work then
Settings > Wi-Fi > tap the blue arrow to the right of your network name > Forget this Network
If that doesn't work
Settings > General > Networks > Reset All Networks > then reset your iPhone by
Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart.

Initializing MediaCore CS6 Freeze
On starting After Effects CS6 on my MacBook Pro, it perpetually hangs at "Initializing MediaCore" and will not start up. I've checked system updates for OS X and all the Adobe CS6 Apps (I'm using Creative Cloud), and all is up-to-date. Removed all
