Iphone 5 unable to connect to Nokia 820

I have tested 3 other iphones - 2 x iphone 5's and an iphone 4
only 1 of the iphone 5 connected to the Lumia's Wifi - the one without 6.1.4 update
Can anyone provide some direction

hi ive had problems as well with wifi,but its working ok now,my router was set to wep key so i changed it to wpa-psk then i wentto wifi on phone then what ever your network name is choose forget this network then put network name in manually then put key in seems to work for me,before i done this if i switched my phone off then put it back on i would have to put network key in every time but not no more seems to be working fine touch wood

Make sure that your device has correct GPRS/3G connection settings in place. Also, check with your mobile network operator that the accesspoint (AP) that the phone is using to access GPRS/3G services, is capable of accessing the Nokia Music store. As some AP's defined in the handset as a default connectivity method are for Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) services and email only.

Unable to connect to nokia services

Whenever i try to connect to Nokia music and cinemagraph etc., its showing "Network Problem we couldn't complete that operation, please try again later" but i was able to login to HERE City lens at once. Please help.

What connection are you using? If data connection, try using Wi-Fi instead.
If you are unable to log-in to Nokia Music with your Nokia account, try going to Settings > Email+Accounts to add your Nokia Account. You can also go to Settings > Nokia Account to set it up.
If above would fail, you can try to scan the Nokia Account QR code found in this link to update the said system utility: http://discussions.nokia.com/t5/Pool-of-Knowledge/Nokia-Windows-Phone-8-App-Updates/m-p/1640082
Make sure that all system apps are updated as well as the software of the phone itself, by the way. Hope to hear from you soon.

If none of the steps resolve your issue, please reply back with what model iPhone you have, what iOS you are running and clarification of what you mean by not being able to connect to Wi-Fi. Some examples would be unable to join, password incorrect or does not see your network.

Unable to connect wifi nokia xpressmusic 5800.

Up until a few days ago I was able to browse the net with native browser and Opera mobile and use Fring, facebook and various other apps via wifi to my router. Now my phone says I'm connected but the browsers and apps won't connect. I have made sure my wifi is priority 1 and deleted and then added the wifi connection again but still no joy. Can someone advise me of a fix for this or is the only way to back up then reinstall the firm ware?

Thanks for your suggestions Jampe. I had tried them before and several other fixes which didn't work. However I have just tried the last suggestion in the thread which you posted the link to and it seems to have worked so far... It has survived switching the phone off. The next test will be when I switch the router off at night and see if it connects again tomorrow. But so far so good. If it still works tomorrow I shall mark the thread as 'solved'. This was the method I used...

Guys don't know if this is too simple but, I had same problem with new N8. It worked fine for three or four weeks on my WLAN then suddenly I started getting the "Invalid Server Name" error. Couldn't understand what had happened then realised that I had unplugged the router (had to use a different power outlet) whilst the N8 was connected to my WLAN. I have now solved my issue as follows, I deleted my WLAN access point from the phone, turned the phone off, then switched the router off (and removed power supply transformer from mains outlet) for five minutes. I then switched the router back on and gave it time to establish its network connections, after that I switched the phone back on, searched for WLAN, entered WAP/WEP password as required and the error messages have now ceased. Hope this works for other people too.

Unable to connect to Nokia music store

Hi,
I have Nokia music installed in my PC and i have internet connection too.But when i open the Nokia music it displays an or message that PC is not connected to internet.I wanted to download the 100 free tracks from nokia music.Can somebody help me in this regard?

I have bought a USB cable for the NOKIA 6070. I connected phone with computer and can access contents of the phone. It works so slow and USB device recognized as Serial device?
What is that compatible mode?? When I connect phone to the PC I didn’t get any message in phone…

Buy cable DKU_5 to your nokia 6070,first you must instal pc_suite and than conect to phone,I Think it work(can acces tranfer file and message.
For Modem you can chouse Standard 33600 bps Modem and go to internet.
Don't acces internet from pc_suite it doen't work for nokia 6070.

Iphone unable to connect to Itunes -

IPhone 3.0 connectivity for Nokia BH-503

I can pair my BH-503 Bluetooth headset with the new iPhone 3.0 OS and I can have a wireless conversation during phone conversations.
I CAN'T, however, get my songs and other audio to stream to the BH-503. Apparently the new iPhone 3.0 OS spports A2DP. Is there a fix so I can listen to my iPhone songs via the BH-503?

Apple tends to do a lot of crippling for their devices (to work with their hardware or hardware by other manufacturers approved by them), so i'm not surprised you have those problems. as for a fix, i am not sure that there is one. the only thing you can do i guess is to ask at Apple stores or whatnot if there are any fixes, or if it is possible to do it. unles someone on these boards knows how to do it....

Nokia N85 unable to connect to Ovi Suite

I am unable to connect my nokia n85 through usb for Ovi suite and also the Nokia Download program. Whenever i connect the cable, it tells me
"your device is in file transfer connection mode and cannot be used with NOkia Ovi Suite. Quit file tranfer mode from the device if you want to use the device with Nokia Ovi Suite"
The problem is i have no idea how to do this, and whenever i connect my usb cable my phone asks me which type of transfer method and i always select pc suite, so it shouldnt give me this error.

Non-Compatible USB Connection For Nokia 6263

I'm unable to connect my Nokia 6263 using the PC Suite Application, why?

I alss have exactly the same problem. The error message says - "Nokia XpressMusic 5800 connected in a non compatible USB mode". So it does not connect with the computer. Yet its fine on my laptop and I'm able to connect succesfully. So why is it OK on the laptop but not on the Desktop? Both O/S are Win Vista Home Premium and are up to date with service packs etc/.

Two different operating systems.
It has nothing to do with the phones running different operating systems. Bluetooth is a platform independent standard. It's all due to the different Bluetooth profiles each device incorporates. iPhones do not have the file transfer profile.

when i use CA-53 cable to connect to internet using nokia pc suite7.0.8.2 (one touch access) an error message pops up "unable to connect to the speified device make sure the modem is configured properly" but i can easily connect to internet via bluetooth other functions like file manager , contacts , messages and back up can be accessed by using the CA-53 cable

I called a vw dealership (in South Australia) today because I have an iphone5 and a Tiguan and experienced the same thing (after i had purchased the lightening/30pin adapter).
I was advised that the media interface software is not compatible with iphone5. VW will eventually update the software according to ol'mate at the dealership, but it will be at an expense to the consumer allegedly.
I know that there is a iphone/vw media cable one can purchase from VW however, I believe this to only work with iphone4 or older?
Maybe try an older generation ipod to use for the car if all ur music is in itunes?
if anyone can correct me, I'd be more than happy to know... going to try my older generation ipad and see if there is any truth to the tale.... eventually. Until then i'll stream via bluetooth :-)
