need info on downloading ringtones on my iphone 5 i go to itunes and search but only get ringtones not ringback tones
This is a carrier feature not an iphone feature.
Ask your carrier how to get ringback tones.

Please helpHonestly, these are WAGs but they're all that I can think of.
First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
Finally, if the Restore doesn't work, let the battery drain completely. Then recharge for at least an hour and Restore again. -

I have used Final Cut Pro 7 for about a year. Two weeks ago when I tried to open it, it opened for 15 seconds and then the icon disappeared. I have tried to reinstall and it didnt help. any one has similar case or can help?

I have lost my camera icon and my app store icon. I have tried to reset the iPod and even tried to restore factory settings....no luck. Restrictions seems to have been set, but I do not have a pass code. Any suggestions???
I have gone through the router reset for home network, Router reset at work. Restarted my personal hotspot on my iPhone that is running the same IOS.
I have performed the Network settings reset on the iPad.
I have performed a hard reboot on the iPad, (Home button and power button until logo appears)
Also I had to update the Apple driver on my laptop for iTunes to see my iPad after I had updated iTunes, I'm not sure if I lost wifi after I updated the iPad IOS or updating iTunes. -
My school (Highline Community College) as advised me that firefox 7 will not allow people to use the (Angel) online e-mail system. I need to stay in contact with my teachers. They said don't get firefox 7 but I already have it. They said go back to firefox 6 which they even provide a link for but when you upload it it says this is an old system click here to get 7. I already have 7 and know it will not work. How can I get 6 back.
I have the same problem. It was literally snuck in as a simple update and suddenly I couldn't upload any of my assignments. You can get rid of 7 by going to control panel and removing the Mozilla file. then look for the FF 6 upload. I warn you though. It REALLY wants to be 7. Don't allow any updates to happen or you will be in the same position.
I like Firefox and it is truly disappointing that they would force this situation. My nest step is back to IE 8 which wants to be 9. Arghh! -
Photoshop: Selecting Save for Web gives error: "Could not complete this operation. An unknown operating system error has occurred."
I have tried all of the solutions I've found, but none work for me or my two systems (windows 7 and windows 8.1)
Many times I get the message only when saving a web file that there is not enough memory: My windows 8 has 2 TB and 10 Gigs of ram. I took it into the shop to see if something was wrong with the hard drive or ram, but when I hooked up my windows 7, I'm having the exact same issues. Please help.

I set ram to 100%, I changed my preferences in editor to not run anything to do with auto analyzer, I renamed the file auto analyzer to put a space in as someone said to do... I even did the following...
Reset Photoshop's Save For Web preferences:
1. Quit Photoshop
2. Delete the "Adobe Save For Web 12.0 Prefs" file:
Mac: Users/[Username]/Library/Preferences/Adobe Save For Web 12.0 Prefs
Windows XP: Documents and Settings/[Username]/Application Data/Adobe/Save For Web/12.0/Adobe Save For Web 12.0 Prefs
Windows 7 and Vista: Users/[Username]/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Save For Web/12.0/Adobe Save For Web 12.0 Prefs
Whenever I "save for web" and save something to the root of C:/ it will work, but the next time I "save for web" it produces the error. I was able to fix it by going into User Account Control settings and scaling down to "never notify." It requires a reboot, but the next time I "saved for web" it worked fine.
If you do this, be sure to change the UAC back to "default" as it is a security measure.
FYI you will have to restart anytime you tweak UAC.
To change UAC in Win 7 go to control panel>Action Center>Change User Account Control Settings and drag the slider to "never notify."Try this: press F10 or tap the Alt key to display the menu bar temporarily, then
View > Toolbars > Menu Bar
If that doesn't work, you could reset your toolbars to factory default using Firefox's Safe Mode. First, make a backup of your computer for safekeeping. To back up Firefox, see [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information].
Next, start Firefox in Firefox
[http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode Safe Mode], and check only the box to reset toolbars. Be careful not to "reset" anything else if you didn't back up.

I have a 2nd generation shuffle and want to use it for my grandson. On connecting to my PC it asks the question ". do you want to delete everything on the shuffle and replace with that on your iTunes". I do not want to do this I want to start again and manually add items. How do I get it to do this please
A 2G Shuffle can only be synced with one iTunes library at a time. So if you are trying to connect and use the Shuffle with a new computer/iTunes library, you'll need tor restore it before you can begin syncing or manualy adding content to it from the new library.
So go ahead and restore the iPod and then configure it for manual management. See this article for more details on configuring the shuffle for manual management.

I have a sony laptop with window 7 64 bit initially which I upgraded to windows 8 64 bit. But due to formatting later, I had to reinstall the windows and this time I installed windows 8 32 bit. Now I have tried installing iTunes for 64 bit windows 8 as well as 32 bit Windows 8 but none of them is getting installed. The message I get is, "this programme is not compatible for your pc" (or words to that affect since I dont remember the exact words but this is the meaning).
Can some body send me the link to the right file please. I need iTunes to transfer files from my iPod and iPhone to my laptop.

When I recently updated to the newer version of FireFox, (version 3.6.13) the DownloadHelper add-on was lost, and it will now not re-install, though I have tried about 5 times?? When I clicked the icon to download the add-on the download progress bar indicated that the download was underway however, when it had completed, the add-on appeared not to have downloaded - including no icon - not even if I search for one. When I tried to download the same add-on again, the download window indicated the download in a faded color and it seemed to be indicating that I already had the add-on. Try as I might, I can't get it to work. DownloadHelper always worked with no trouble on the previous version of FireFox. Are you able to help? Many thanks for this service!
Delete the files extensions.* (extensions.rdf, extensions.cache, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox [[Profiles|profile folder]] to reset the extensions registry. New files will be created when required.

If you see disabled, not compatible, extensions in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the "Find Updates" button (Firefox 4: click the Tools button at the left side of the Search Bar) to do a compatibility check.
