IPhone 5 Vs iPhone 4s
Hey guys I feel uncertain; wether to buy the iPhone 5 or Buy the 4s .. Please help!

as far as I am concerned, the iPhone 5 is a good choice. There are however some quality problems with the chassis of the black model.
In addition there seem to be quite a few problems with availability and stability of LTE connections with US and Canadian networks, but since LTE is a rather new technology this was to be expected somehow. To a certain degree these problems seem to exist with HSPA+ (aka 3G+) connections as well.
The iPhone 5's battery seems to be a weak spot, but that might be related to frequent (and power comsuming) changes between 3G and LTE cellular data connections due to the said problems with LTE.
Here in Germany I am using the iPhone 5 since day one with no stability problems and download speeds peaking way over 50 mbps. Thus I cannot confirm overly rapid drain of battery power.
Besides with the release of the iPhone 5, its predecessor only is no longer offered with 32 or 64 GB of storage capacity.
Regarding, black or white. Well, that is mainly a matter of preference, yet the white model apparently has by far less problems regarding quality.

If Other (the yellow bar) is too big something is corrupted. The only solution (that I know of) is to restore from your most recent backup using iTunes (see http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766).

I'm getting the error message "Photos folder syncing has been disabled for the iPhone <my iPhone> because the folder "Pictures" cannot be found." lately.
Normally, all I do with photos is move them from my iPhone to my computer's (Windows 7) hard drive. I do this by connecting the iPhone with the cable, a box pops up on the screen asking me what I want to do, and I choose "Import pictures and videos". I've previously selected the "delete photos from the device after move" option (or however it's worded...), simply because I don't want this device to fill up with photos.
Lately, it has been importing the photos fine, but it won't delete them from the iPhone. This used to work just fine, now it doesn't work and I don't know what changed, if anything. In iTunes, I get the error message I list at the beginning of this message.

I am unable to backup my iphone 5 iOS 6.0.1 (connected directly to laptop USB) with my itunes 11 for Win 7 64bits. The process starts and fails to complete giving the error: itunes could not complete backup of iphone because iphone disconnected.
I have restarted the PC, the iphone, changed the lightining cable and nothign resolves it: backup never completes.Hi, I disabled the antivirus and the firewall. Same result
I even deleted the backup folder inside C:\Users\...\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup to eliminate any corruption in the old backup files.
Nothing changed: Session either times out or i get the same error message: itunes could not back up iphone because iphone disconnected. It always happens during step 3 out of 4 which is "transfering purchased apps from iphone to PC" and comes after step 2 which is backup.
My iphone 5 is not jailbroken, and is a factory unlocked phone.
Any other suggestion?

Since 2 updates I started getting iTunes could not back up the iPhone 'my IPhone' because a session could not be started with the iPhone. This is happening with my iPad and iPhone. I see hundreds of complains on this issue starting from last year and obviously Apple has no clue how to solve this error. I went through the solutions and spend over an hour deleting backups resetting lockdown, restarting and nothing is working. Are they serious to ask us to disconnect all other USB devices to sync our equipment everyday to solve their problem? iTunes is the worst program I have seen on the market in the past 10 years. It reminds me of DOS programs that could only do one item at a time. You click a command and just wait and wait and wait. Of course they want me to call customer service, wait for x time to talk to tech support and then spend more time. I don't have the time. I spent a lot of money to get an equipment that should work as advertised and not spend further my valuable time. I have reached my limit with Apple and that crap iTunes. I'm calling for a divorce.
[By the way, your spell check doesn't recognize your own products such as iPad, iTunes and iPhone. Such an embarrassing company.]Do you happen to be running any processes that Apple doesn't want you to use? (Jailbroken?)

My Mac Mini (v10.6.8) does not acknowledge my iphone as a device in iPhoto, Image Capture, iSync or Preview although, iTunes does. I am at a loss for importing photos other than emailing them to myself. Same problem with my iphone 4, iphone 4s, ipad2 and New iPad. Is this a problem with OS X 10.6.8 as I read some posts claim? Please help.
I was able to import photos in iPhoto and Image capture when I was running SL 10.6.8 on my older MacBook.
Did you try quitting everything, restart the Mac and then try again?
Are there any updates at all for the Mac? I was helping one user not all that long ago and there were updates for her Mac software that had nothing to do with the OS and when she downloaded the updates - the iPad was then recognized in iTunes. -
Downloaded iBooks on my Macbook Pro but when I tried to sync it on my iPhone, this appeared: "Are you sure you want to sync books? All existing songs, movies and TV shows on the iPhone “My iPhone” will be removed". Love the iBooks as well as music. I really don't want to loose my music. HELP!!!
From the message you are receiving, it sounds like you either, 1) haven't synced your iPhone with that computer before, 2) are using two different iTunes accounts, or 3) both. If you have purchased music or movies through your iPhone with a certain iTunes account and purchased books through iBooks on your MacBook through a different iTunes account then there is no having both on the phone.
Apple doesn't allow content from two different accounts on a device at the same time. Also if two "libraries" have been created, one on the iPhone and one on the Macbook then syncing will erase data that is not associated with that particular library.
If you are using the same iTunes account for both, then you should be able to redownload any purchased items (music, books, etc.) from iCloud, assuming you have set that up.

Check first if your iTunes is up-to-date. If it's updated, try using a different cable or try plugging it to a different USB port.

Thats not possible I'm afraid, only the Apple TV can receive an AirPlay stream, and even then only one at a time, unless you stream from a computer. -

Then take it out of Lost Mode the same way you put it into Lost Mode: via the Find My iPhone App or www.icloud.com.
