IPhone 5 w/6.1 now unable to connect to Chevy vehicle

iPhone 5 with 6.1 is unable to connect to 2012 Chevy Silverado.
using lighting to USB cable
shows USB device then shows no USB device
charges just fine
bluetooth for phone calls works fine
it was worked with since August 2012 from iOS 6 up through 6.1 beta 1-4
Going to try remove the bluetooth profile and pair again to see if that has any impact but expect it shouldn't.
Anyone else have issues?

I was able to solve this issue. I did a reinstall of 6.1 from iTunes when it came out on the 28th. Everything is working well again.

Internet and firefox worked, i downloaded new version which would not work due to proxy settings. I then deleted download and thought i could revert to current version but now I am unable to connect to the internet at all using mozilla or explorer. My internet connection is fine as Im able to use my laptop. Please help im not very good with computers. Thanks.

In Firefox 3.6.4 and later the default connection settings have been changed to "Use the system proxy settings".
See "Firefox connection settings" in [[Server not found]]
You can find the connection setting here: Tools > Options > Advanced : Network : Connection
If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then select ''No Proxy''

I've just installed iOS 8.1 on my iPhone 5.
the iPhone is able to connect to a wifi and access internet at any other wifi network other than the one I use at home.
However before updating(when I was using iOS 7.1.2) the iPhone was working normally,it was able to connect to connect to the wifi and access internet.
The router I use at my home is a netgear one.
The iPhone works just fine with any other wifi other than the one i use at my home.
The wifi works fine with other devices I've -laptop,iPad 2(still using iOS 7.1.2)

An iPhone will not pair via Bluetooth to a computer (Mac or Windows) except for personal hotspot and then only if your cellular plan supports it. Bluetooth: Why can't I pair my iPhone or iPad with my computer?
If you are attempting to use Handoff/Continuity, that does involve Bluetooth but the devices are NOT paired; Bluetooth just needs to be on and the devices in range of each other. If you have a backup in iTunes or iCloud, you can restore it from there.
To check in iTunes, open the Preferences pane and click on Devices > You will see the backups listed there.
You will want to do this on the computer that you typically sync your iPhone to.
Or if you have an iCloud backup, go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings and in the setup menu, choose your backup.

Upgraded to yosemite, now unable to connect b210a wirelessly

Since upgrading my Macbook air to Yosemite OSX 10.10, my airprint function with my HP Photosmart PLus B210a printer does not work. The printer is connected to the network, all diagnostics state functioning appropriately,it will eprint via the associated email address and when I go to the website for my printer all appears to be working appropriately. In following some of the threads I deleted and reinstalled my original printer connections and now when I try to reconnect my B210a printer via airprint I get the following error message:
I have been able to add the printer without the airprint mode and via the IP address, but neither of these printer options print successfully.

Now unable to connect to server - URL not recognized

My mac (power mac g5 on OS X 10.5.7) crashed last night and we had to repair hard drive and file permissions then all working fine again - thank goodness.
One draw back is that I cannot now connect to the server - we use smb://ip address
We do have internet and we can see the mac files from the pc's
The error message we get seems to be a common one "The text entered does not appear to be a recognized URL Format" then lists the acceptable ones (the smb being one of them)
I can connect to an ftp site that we also have stored in our list of connections.
I followed the help information - support.apple.com/kb/TS1736 - deleted the folder and restarted
No joy though - any help would be appreciated.

I would suggest looking at what might be different between those clients and the others that work. Do they run the same antivirus version? Did they receive any recent updates (windows or AV)? Are they potentially on a different network
(sometimes a wireless network is configured to be different from the wired)? Are they getting any different group policies?
We've seen the antivirus web control block access before in my environment.

After using Firefox for quite some time,I am now unable to connect to the internet using Firefox.I get a pop up message stating that Firefox is configured to use a proxy server that is refusing connections.How to fix this?

Migrated mailbox from 2007 to 2013 now unable to connect to Samsung S4

I'm in the process of migrating from 2007 to 2013.
I have moved successfully a several mailbox's from Ex2007 to Ex2013. Currently, all the EAS policies reside on the 2007 server and I have been successful reconnecting all the smartphones so far.
However, I have a Samsung S4 that is refusing to connect. Any ideas what I need to do?

TS1538 unable to connect iPhone to iTunes (11.0.1.12)

I have updated iTunes to 11.0.1.12 and I'm now unable to connect any devices to the PC. The following message is displayed: "this iphone cannot be used because the required software is not installed. Run the itunes installer to remove iTunes, then install the 64-bit version of itunes." After following the diagnostics and online help if seems others are having similar problems. After uninstalling and installing the IOS checking the USB drivers and Apple mobile devices settings are correct and have been switched on/off - the same message appears and Iphones still not available in itunes, but shows in windows.
Anyone any ideas??????

I found some info in other threads and read that some people had re-downloaded, re-installed and were now working OK. Unfortunately some others went through that pain and still had the issue.
I found a reference to deleting the file 'iTunes Library.itl' and copying back the previous version of that file.
I tried this and when I fired up iTunes I noticed there was a window pop up saying iTunes was updating the database to version 11. I then re-imported the CD and now the songs are there in iTunes, the artwork is there and song titles etc. The songs play and everything appears normal again.
It would appear that my issue was the database was not correctly upgraded correctly durting the original upgrade, this theory is to some extent supported by the fact some people have had success re-installing version 11. This also suggests the upgrade process may be a little flaky.
Anyway thank you to the person suggesting downgrading the 'iTunes Library.itl' file, sorry I did not take a note of your name.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. Unable to connect via wireless, printer is online.

I am using a Photosmart plus 209a via wireless. There are 3 notebooks connected. 2 will print but my Dell Studio (Win 7 Pro) will not. It was previously connected but now unable to connect. I have uninstalled all components using level 3 twice. Have used the Print/Scan tool. Downloaded the full SW package and the Basic driver SW. I process a job and it gets to the spooler and then "print job failed". I can view the control panel via IP address. I can view network settings and print wireless test page through HP Solution Center. Why am I unable to connect? I was able to use via USB but this is not an option.

It sounds like there is something different on the Dell Studio since it works from two other computers on the same network as the Dell Studio. It also sounds like you are able to access the EWS of the printer by using its IP address.
Are there any other errors messages regarding the printer? If so, what are they?
Is there a third party firewall installed (e.g. Norton, Kasperksy, BitDefender, etc.)?
Is this Windows 7 Professional 32bit or 64bit?

Forms 6i - ora-012203 tns:unable to connect to the destination

I have been using Forms 6i for the past 3 years. Today, Form 10 g was installed. I can successfully connect to the database using Forms 10g. When I now use Forms 6i, I get the above error message. I have checked my TNS_ADMIN path and all is correct. Why am I now unable to connect via Forms 6i after installing Forms 10g?

Locate ALL the tnsnames.ora files on your computer. There are several.
Apparently your 10g install changed the one that Forms 6i is using. Hope you have a backup.
There is probably a way to point all of the apps to use the same file, but I haven't gone to the trouble to find out how. So when I change a connection, I edit one of the files, then save it over all of them, so they are all identical.
Here are the three I use:
For Forms6i C:\oracle\orant\NET80\admin\tnsnames.ora
For Forms10, C:\oracle\DevSuiteHome_1\network\admin\tnsnames.ora
For SQL Plus10 C:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\network\admin\tnsnames.ora
