I Phone 5 warm up while surfing on 3G Speed and Using GPS, Battery also goes down rapidly on 3G using.

With typical use of your device, it is expected for it to get warm since it is performing calculations that cause the CPU to generate heat.
Also, if there are temperature warnings (yellow triangle with "!" symbol) then I would ensure it is not in a warm location, let it cool off, and then startup again. Once started, close any applications running in the background (http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5137) that could be utilizing CPU resources. Also try disabling/removing email accounts temporarily to see if they could be causing the added heat and battery drain.

A few things happened since I've posted this.
1)I've deleted all the history and cookies from my macbook safari and when I opened the website with the issue, the problem did not happen this time.
2)Seeing this, I've deleted my history on iPhone's safari and opened the same website but the problem was there again.
3)The problem does not happen on iPad.
So, I do not have the problem at all on Google Chrome but on Safari (now just on iPhone)
Is this still about my router settings? If so would changing my phone DNS settings would suffice? Or do you think the problem might still remain on my computer as well?
This is so frustrating for a person who does not know anything about technology at all

My stupid S4 went blank while surfing. Will not turn back on even after charging it. Used it just over 3 months so I dont think I can return it to Costco. Do I return it to Verizon or Samsung to get it fixed? Or Costco?

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

IPhone 4s loses battery while charging?

In the past week or week and a half, I noticed that my iPhone acutally loses battery while charging. I use my phone as an alarm clock so I plug it in overnight to be fully charged by the morning. I noticed it when I plugged it in one night at about 80%, I woke up and it was 20-30%. This has happened consistently every night since it started, not always to 20% but around 60% or slightly higher. I've tried charging to outlet I used, turning off my wifi overnight, taking the case off at night and closing all of my apps so there is nothing running in the background. I even turn my brightness all the way down. I have no idea what's wrong and nothing is able to fix it. My phone isn't new, it's about three years old (I got it a few months after the 4S came out originally). Is the phone just getting old and needs to be replaced or does it need to be sent back to Apple to be looked at or have the battery replaced?

Charging the battery means doing work on the battery and does produce heat. How much heat is the quesion. Is your iPhone to hot to handle or is it just getting warm? Warm is normal, and if you feel the charger it will also be warm while charging.
If the iPhone is too hot to handle, that is not normal and should be checked out by an Apple tech at an Apple store genius bar.

The screen on my iPhone 4 turned black while i was using it-it was not dropped or damaged in anyway. The phone itself is still working as it comes up in itunes when I plug the phone into my computer, but the screen is completley black. What can I do?

The screen on my iPhone has gone black while I was using it. It just "shut off". The phone is still working as I can hear/see it when it plugs into the computer, but the screen just wont turn on. I've tried the soft reset "holding down home and lock screen" and i've tried to restore settings. I went to the apple store and they said I had to send it to my provider (in another country) but my phone contract has run out.
Is there a way to fix this?
If not, is there some way apple can replace the phone? It's less than 2 years old. Surely the screen shouldn't just give out like that.

I have had a problem yesterday while surfing on the net : The machine stopped responding (frozen) and then Ive heard a long (for 20secs or more) bip. The battery is not a problem. Just make sure that you run the computer on battery power at least once a month until it is completely discharged. Recharge it and repeat the process. This is to ensure that your battery can retain a charge.
From what you say, I am quite sure that your problem originated from an empty battery. System beeps all have a meaning and the type of beep (long, short, single or multiple) tells you the type of problem you are having. unfortunatly, the warning system is not universal and varies according to the mother board. If this happens again, you should contact the Toshiba Helpline.
Also, it is a good idea to turn your computer off from time to time. There is a built in security feature that will automatically turn the system off should the PCU become too hot.

Well there you go. There's your mistake. The iOS 8 updates have seriously hosed Safari. Here are your options: (a) you can jump through all kinds of hoops resetting, restoring, reloading, etc. for hours/days, or (b) you can save yourself a lot of aggravation and wait for an update that really "just works".

What buttons did you try? IF you haven't already, try a reset, no data loss.
Hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the Apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.

How to skip unsubscribed channels while surfing?

Is there a setting to have the box skip unsubscribed channels while surfing?
So for example, lets say channel 500 is subscribed, 501 is unsubscribed, and 502 is subscribed.
When I channel up to 500 it shows video.
I channel up to 501 and I see the "Unsubscribed" message.
I channel up again to 502 and see video.
I don't want to see channel 501 at all.
I want it to go from channel 500 to 502, skipping 501 because it's an unsubscribed channel.
Isn't there some setting to skip unsubscribed channels? I noticed in the Info banner in the lower right is says "All Channels". When I go to Options I don't see anything to change that.

There is a setting:
1. Change the channel so that the info banner at the bottom appears (the bottom third of the screen showing the station name, the current program, etc.)
2. Press the right arrow button (the one in the circle around the OK button)
3. You may need to press OK next to get past the informational message about filters (that one shows for me on the SD box, but not the HD box)
4. Now you can change the mode to "Subscribed"
5. Click OK to confirm
BUT....once you turn the STB off that settings gets reset to "All Channels". That is a bug in the STB software and one of the most annoying ones. Verizon knows about this for at least half a year since I reported it a few times during the past six months. Apparently, nobody at Verizon HQ gives a **bleep** what customers want. Gazillion of other settings are properly stored, but this one is not. And nobody knows why.
The workaround is to create a favories list with only the subscribed channels, but you need to do that for each box that you have. Not only a pain in the rear to do, but also unnecessary because there is the option available (see above), but it doesn't get saved. Verizon, do we really need to resort to jailbreaking the STBs just to fix such silly flaws?
