Iphone 5 wifi connected but no wifi logo

anyone know why there is no wifi logo on my iphone even though my wifi is connected? I was at two different places and at both places wifi is connected (i can surf net etc) but there is no logo on my iphone. Thanks!

IPhone and iPad connected but not with iCloud??

When I updated to iOS 6.1, I was asked if I wanted to connect all devices. My mistake was selecting yes!
I have an iPhone and iPad I just got for Christmas; I was using the same email on both devices for iMessages but I hate receiving all messages on both devices.
So, I tried to change my email for iMessages on the iPad but when I tried to delete my current email, I received a message that says I will no longer be able to receive emails on any device!
How can I undo this? Please help!!

If the process isn't finishing for you there's not a lot you can do to force it. Perhaps a visit to the nearest Genius Bar? I don't know. Sorry I can't offer more constructive advice.
How long are you waiting on step 2? Depending on the size of your library and the speed of your internet it can take a few minutes, a few hours or even days.

Please follow these steps:
- While the phone is on, remove the battery for 10 seconds. Reinsert, power on & retest.
- If issues persist place the phone in Safe Mode and test:

If you don't have the issue during Safe Mode then it would be a 3rd Party application causing the issue.
- If you still have no audio, **ensure all of your personal information is backed up and Hard Reset your phone:

**Please verify the below information before you complete a Hard Reset.
Your contacts generally back up to Backup Assistant or Gmail/Google. Your media generally backs up to an SD Card. You can redownload your applications by visiting google.com/play and choosing the My Android Apps.

IPhone 4 - Calls connect, but neither party can hear each other

What is odd, is that when the call is placed, i see the 'speaker' button illuminated, which is not normal. I've tried to plug a speaker jack into the port and unplug it to try and clear any issue there, but that does not work. Suggestions?

I am having the EXACT same problem! I have no idea why! I tried restoring my phone but that didn't work either! I thought it was odd how the speaker button was illuminated. Guess I'll be calling Apple in the morning!

HI, Sorry for my BAD english, I'm Italian. I have an Iphone 4s.. four day ago, I upgraded my IOS from 5.1.1 to 6.1.1 (thinking that 6.1.1 was mature). This is WORST decision I was made. WIFI it's unusable. iPhone it's connected, but doesn't navigate.... or navigate like a SNAIL.
I'm a computer technician and cisco CCNP... after some speedy try, I was able to use WIFI with WEP and not with WPA....
Best result was with an 802.11/B AP with 128bit WEP (no problem at ALL)....... I think there is a problem IOS - WPA and 802.11G AP...
I hope this can help some user...... for me it's absolutely USELESS info because all my customer uses different AP with different encription so I CAN'T use anymore my phone.... I switch to galaxy sIII until apple resolve this issue.
I'm an apple fan since 1987 (MY MAC II) and NEVER has problem or problem was immediately resolved but
on last THREE year, apple was made some mistake.... using CUSTOMER as TESTER....
After 20 year of apple, if all continue so. I MUST abandon APPLE.

I'm not surprised. Most car outlets do not provide sufficient power for the iPad to charge, but will work fine with an iPhone. Mine does the same thing.

Iphone won't connect to Macbook's Shared Connection

Hey all,
A million apologies - I have searched for a few hours and haven't found a working solution.
My iPhone 4 (iOS 4.3) "does not" connect to my Macbook's shared connection. I am using my macbook as a wifi hotspot at home and I really cannot figure what is wrong. The iPhone says its connected, but the wifi icon does not appear - EVEN when I am inches away from the macbook. As far as I can tell my macbook's airport is up to date 6.2.1 as is the computer it self (10.6.6).
Any help in getting my iPhone connected to my macbook's shared wifi would be appreciated.

I have tried:
on IPhone
- Forgetting network
- Shutdown and reboot
- upgrade/downgrade iOS
on Computer
- No WEP password
- shutdown and reboot

You can try doing a reset, hold down the home/power button until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up - then check wifi - if that doesn't work then
do a network reset note: you will have to reenter wifi password again when your in range.
settings - general - reset - reset network settings. If that doesn't work then I would talk to your IT dept.

The two things to try first are renewing your network lease, forgetting the network and if that doesn't work to reset all networks. You might have tried one of these but I'll repeat the steps just to make sure.
Settings > Wi-Fi > tap the blue arrow to the right of your network name > Renew Lease
If that doesn't work then
Settings > Wi-Fi > tap the blue arrow to the right of your network name > Forget this Network
If that doesn't work
Settings > General > Networks > Reset All Networks > then reset your iPhone by
Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart.

We bought the iPhones and Ipad so that we could send emails while we are out of the Office, but we are not able to do this unless we can find a WiFi connection. Incoming emails are fine. We use IMAP, for Business emails just incase this is relevant and I know that Hotmail is POP3.
Our technical IT knowledge is not great, so we look forward to your suggestions as to how to resolve this.

Contact whomever supports the email account and get the correct Outgoing email server settings from them.

Try restarting your router by removing power to it for 30 seconds. This may correct the problem.
