Iphone 5 without a case, is the camera safe?

Hi,
I use my iphone 5 without a case.
But I've noticed that the camera is flush with the back. So will I damage the camera or the camera glass at some point?
For example, I place the phone on the table quite a lot, and i feel like just placing it on the table might scratch the camera glass, and then I would have to live with a sratch on each new photo...
What has been your experience?

The same way you put them on the phone. Connect the phone to iTunes on your computer, click on the name of the iPhone, then the Photo tab. Uncheck the albums you don't want on the phone and click Sync.

This is a Windoze bug, or more accurately the photo viewing software included with Windoze does not support the orientation flag values included with a photo' s EXIF data now being used/implemented by newer cameras and by the iPhone beginning with iOS4. This also speeds up the time is takes for a captured photo to be saved/processed.

no they will not its about how you take photo and sometimes low lighting can also be the problem andd theres really no best case but my oppion is the best cases are the thick rubber cases so it will stick to your pants if your lets say sitting down and the thickness will add protection to falls

Is there a dock that fits an iPhone without removing case?

I have one of those clear plastic Belkin iPhone cases and it's a real pain in the a to have to remove this very tight fitting case to stick the iPhone into the dock to sync it. I use the "travel" cable right now but it would sure be nice to put it in the dock along with the iPhone bluetooth. The case prohibits this, though but... does anybody know if there is one out there yet that allows (i.e., a case) that does allow for putting the thing in the dock OR is there any sort of adapter?
Does that new 3-pack of universal dock adapters from Apple solve this problem or does that just work with the iPhone if it has no case on it?

I personally don't like the design all that much with the little wire gizmo that has to be used in some devices but I think it will work for my purposes which is basically to be able to put my iPhone into the DOCK vs. using the travel cable and to do this without removing my clear plastic case it's in.
My big complaints about the current spate of case designs and such:
1. No way to dock the iPhone in it's beautiful sleek convenient dock (especially the one that allows for charging BOTH Bluetooth and phone together) without removing case unless you get one of those overkill leather cases which hide the beauty of the iPhone's gorgeous design
2. The clear plastic cases (which are my favorite as they obliterate the design of the iPhone the least) don't have a really good firm clip for clipping onto a belt. They have a funkier paper-clip design on the best of them. Why these designers decided not to use the great clip design on the clear plastic xtremecases made for the iPods, I don't know.
Any case designers here? Get it together, people.

Well, here's my fix for you guys if you have the same problem with your library not being able to be created, and hence crashing both the camera and photos app.
As a matter of fact, I had noticed for a while that the images in the folders were not the same amount as was announced "on" the folder (they always have a bracket saying how many pictures the folder has). And on Linux, I was able to have a look at the structure of the iphone's content easily and was able to compare this (you don't necessarily have to go to Linux for this though, it was just easier for me).
Now here's the fix.
In Windows, I open iTunes and tell it not to sync pics, and tell it to remove existing pics (just in case, make sure you have a copy). In Linux, I access my iPhone, the folder with my existing pictures (they were still there), and move (not copy, the folder must be empty after this) them all to my shared drive in an iPhone folder. I then go back to Windows, copy the contents of shared-drive/iPhone to my usual iPhone Photo folder. In iTunes, I click I want to sync photos, check the correct folder, and oh wonder, it's all back to "normal" (it is actually quite neat, the new feats of the camera :)).
Please note that a restore only took a lot of time from me, and didn't fix the phone - this did.

It seems like mine as well. The white balance on the camera is wrong. My iPhone 4 has better pics when taking them side by side with my 4s. Something is wrong somewhere.

I did not mean actually editing in the PDF, but just copying the text out of the PDF and pasting into indd... or Word.. .or anything. Regardless, just wondering if there was a way to avoid those line breaks.

IPhone switches Off while using the Camera

For example:
I have 20%, 50% or 80% and i want to take a photo. (Problem is represented at all battery capacity levels)
I open the Camera App, take 2 or 3 photos and 1 panorama.
And then the iPhone abruptly turns OFF.
When i want to turn it on again, the "Low battery" is shown. Trying it again after 10 minutes, it turns ON and the battery capacity is the same as before.
Any ideas what the problem could be?

To disable Zoom double-tap the screen with three fingers.

I have the iOS 7.1 and for four months it's been working great, not now

First thing to try is a reset: Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).
Reset your device: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)
If this doesn't help, back up and restore via iTunes. If the problem continues, restore as a new device and test. If the problem is solved, there is some kind of corruption in your backup file or maybe it's one of your apps causing problems. If it continues, take it to an Apple Store for evaluation of a possible hardware problem.

Looking to choose an app for viewing word documents, but need to be able to view a complete page per screen (preferably full screen) without having to 'nudge' the screen 'up' to view the bottom of the page.
Will Pages do the job?

Not exactly.
You will find yourself nudging the page up or down a bit. Earlier versions of iOS Pages allowed "full page view" but that really wasn't full page either. You can squeeze the view to fit, but as soon as you release it, the document springs back to normal size - it is only about a line off from what you are looking for.
An alternative would be to view a Pages Document as a PDF and view the PDF in an app such as GoodReader - there you can see both the top and bottom edges of each page. There are many other PDF viewers available in the App Store.
