IPhone 5 won't detect that I have unplugged earphones

It will happen on the odd occasion that when I unplug my earphones mid song/podcast, the media will pause, and on resume there will be no sound coming out of the speakers. Obviously the volume is up, but it still says (headphones) when I adjust the volume. So it hasn't detected that I removed them.
I am using first party eaphones, the Apple Airpods.
The strange thing is, when I go into the sounds settings and adjust the slider there, it will preview the tones just fine..
So only media playback apps are affected. Doing a complete restart fixes the problem.. but I'm just wondering what could of caused this!

My iPhone 4s won't detect any wireless networks. It was working fine until last night when the connection dropped int he middle of me watching a programme. At first I thought it was our router, but I reset that about 5 times, and all other devices are working fine on it. The phone won't detect any other networks either - if I ask to join a network it comes up with the message "could not scan for wireless networks". I have tried resetting the network settings as suggested on the support page, but it hasn't worked. Can anybody help? Thank you.

If no change after resetting network settings on the iPhone, try restoring the iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from the backup.
If no change after that, the iPhone has a hardware problem.

If you did not set up find my iPhone on the iPod, you can't find it.

Have you tried:
- Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.

First make sue you are installing the 64 bit version of iTunes.
Second make sure it is iTunes 10.7 or later.
I would download a fresh copy of the 64 bit version of iTunes 11. After installation reboot your computer.
Before connecting your phone reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

I am considering leaving BT Infinity, but when filling in other suppliers availability checkers I get different versions of the below:

I suggest charging it for several hours, then trying again.

I have just now tried the Reinstall via iTunes, about 20 into the download, the iTunes logo on the phone disappeared, and the Apple Logo appeared again,,, I waited until the iTunes stated that the download had finished, and the install was in progress,,,

Are you syncing your phone with iTunes and then with iCloud? This can cause duplicates. Sync with one or the other, but not both.

My iPhone (iOS7) doesn't recognize that I have iTunes 11.1

When I plugged my iPhone 4S (iOS7) in to my Mac Book Pro (OSX 10.6.8) I got a prompt that said I needed iTunes 11.1 for the phone to be recognized. I downloaded and successfully installed iTunes 11.1 but again received the same prompt upon plugging in my phone. I restarted my computer several times and still, when I plug in my phone it just tells me I need iTunes 11.1
When I check software update, it says that everything is up to date and no new software is available. I am 100% POSITIVE that I have iTunes 11.1 but when I plug in my phone I continue to receive the prompt telling me its not recognized because I need iTunes 11.1
It's as if my computer doesnt recognize the fact that it is running iTunes 11.1, and thinks it's still running an older version. Makes absolutely no sense to me

It could be, but i highly doubt it, that it is because that you are running Snow Leopard if your computer supports an upgrade you could try that, but that is all that i can come up with for a problem. Oh, try reinstalling itunes 11.1 and if you were going to update OS X do that first!

IPhone Display is so large that I have to move the screen to reach all the icons...!!!!!!!!!!

The display on my iPhone does not fit the screen. It is so large that I have to move around the screen to find "Slide to Unlock". By the time I have unlocked to answer a call, the iPhone has either hung up, or is taking a message.
When I open the iPhone screen to make a call, the display is so large that I have to move the screen up to reach the "Slide to Unlock". This is very tedious and slow.
When I reach the standard display screen ["Messages" + "Calendar" + "Photos" + "Camera", etc.] the icons are so large that all will not fit on the screen. I have to move around the screen to find the appropriate icon. "Mail" and "telephone" are so far down that I have to laborously move the screen to reach them.
Pressing the icons works, but the next screen is equally so large that I have to move the screen around to see all the parts.
I was able to delete all previous call records, but that has not helped. The display is still LARGER THAN THE SCREEN... SO LARGE THAT NOT ALL THE ICONS APPEAR AND I HAVE TO MOVE THE SCREEN AROUND TO SEE THE ONES AT THE RIGHT SIDE, THE LEFT SIDE, AND THE BOTTOM.
I CAN ONLY GET TO THE BOTTOM... "MAIL", "PHONE", AND "ipod" ICONS BY SLOWLY MOVING THE SCREEN UP UNTIL THEY COME ON SCREEN.
The top of my iPhone display shows AT&T 3G. My Products registered shows iPhone 4.
I DO NOT DO e-Mail on my iPhone. I do not do music on my iPhone.
I ONLY USE THIS CLEARLY DEFECTIVE DEVICE FOR TELEPHONE CALLS. IT IS MY ONLY TELEPHONE.
My "Settings" page shows absolutely blank.

I had the same issue. Photo app said I have 500 photos and 7 videos but the about section said I had 62 videos and 1500 photos. I fixed it by changing the date on my phone, by going back a few months, then went to the photo app and found them all sitting in the recently deleted (even thought they had been deleted ages ago). I then emptied everything in the recently deleted folder. This fixed the problem for me.
I backed up all the photos before I did this just incase I lost them
