IPhone 5 won't play video messages in fullscreen

iPhone 5 running iOS 8.1
When receiving a video through Messages or SMS, the phone will play the video but it will not blow it up into fullscreen. Around about trick can be done by going into details and selecting the video there but it won't play the video completely in fullscreen either. If it is a vertical video it will stay shrunk that way.

How do I go about including this png file? I created a png at 640x1136, named it "[email protected]" and imported into the cast.
I placed it on the first frame of the timeline and in publish settings under projector I clicked "save splash image using frame 1"
It didn't work....
Can you be more specific as how to do this?

My .MP4 video file won't "play video full screen" in Muse after I publish my .OAM out of Edge Animate. When I "Preview In Browser" through Edge it plays (I have created a shape and used the "play video full screen" snippet) in full screen mode just fine. When I "Preview Site In Browser" through Muse and click on the shape to PLAY VIDEO FULL SCREEN, it does nothing. I am new to both programs and can't figure out why it will work out of the preview window in Edge and won't work when I publish to Muse. Does anybody have an answer or a work-around for me?

Neither worked. Please help!

Try delete those songs using iTunes by de-selecting and sync. After that mark those songs and sync again.

My old computer died just after I transferred iTunes via external HD. When I transferred the content from the HD to the new computer, most songs won't play. Message is "Can't identify source". Sharing was on in the old computer when it died.

Won't play videos on CNN or YouTube or Apple websites... (those are the ones I've tested) Does play videos on ESPN Mobile or using YouTube App.

Flash player won't play videos in safari after I've installed Lion does anyone have a solution?

I've installed Lion after which Flash Player won't play videos with Safari. I keep being prompted to download and install the latest version of Flash Player whcih I've done several times. Can someone please help me fix this.
I find Adobe's announcement that there are no issues with Flash Player and Lion a bit of a sick joke.

I only use flash for watching video clips on the BBC website so haven't been affected by these other issues. The text below is copied from the website at the above link. Hope this helps.
The Flash Player Settings dialog box doesn't respond to mouse clicks. As a workaround, press the Tab key to move to the Close button and press the spacebar to close the dialog box. While not all settings are available, you can also use the Flash Player native control panel in System Preferences.

I just downloaded quicktime, and then restarted my computer. But it still won't play videos online. I'm not sure if it is like this for all sites, but i have one site in particular that won't play videos. Any ideas? I have Windows 7 by the way.

Here's some more info.
I tried installing the latest iTunes to my housemate's PC, logging into iTMS with my account, authorizing his machine to play my content, restoring my iPod to the factory settings, downloading the videos and copying them to my iPod.
It worked fine, and I can play my videos.
I have done the exact SAME thing on my own home PC twice, after completely uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and the Apple Software Updater. But I still can't get any videos downloaded on my home PC to play on my iPods.
Any thoughts?

If you are having issues with your iPhone not playing video from any source, you may want to try some things to troubleshoot.
First, quit all running applications and test again -
iOS: Force an app to close
Next, I would try restarting the iPhone -
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset
If the issue is still present, you may want to restore the iPhone as a new device -
How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backups

Firefox won't play videos from YouTube, Hulu, etc. w/latest Flash version.

Despite following both Firefox and Flash directions, Firefox won't play videos from YouTube, Hulu, etc. They either never load or they load and freeze within seconds. Before I got the latest versions of Firefox and Flash, I did not have this problem. So there must be a problem in one or both of them. Since I understand from various websites that this is a widespread problem, can Firefox fix this? It's a major flaw in the latest Firefox version.

I received a video from iPhone in an email but iPad won't play it? Any way to get it to play on iPad.

I appreciate what you are both saying -- but it is not the music that is the problem. The video itself is NOT blocked - you can view it on a computer -- but when you try to view it on ipad/iphone the message says, "not available on this platform".
