Iphone 5 won't start

Hi,
I purchased an iPhone5 in a NYC Apple store 6 months ago. This past weekend for no reason it suddenly turned all bluescreen at first, and later just won't start anymore. What should I do to fix it? Is it still returnable for refund to any Apple store (I live in CA)?

Have you tried pressing both the home and power buttons together and holding until apple logo appears and then let them go. Wait for phone to restart

IPod on iPhone won't start up

The iPod on my 3g iPhone won't start up. I touch the button and the iPod begins to "start up". The screen goes white like it's loading and then nothing happens, until finally it returns me to the home screen. I've tried accessing the iPod from the bottom row button, from iTunes on the phone, and by double-pressing the Home button. I have turned the phone off and then back on. I've held the Home button for 6 seconds, and I've also done a reset with the Home and Sleep buttons.
Any ideas?
The other night it worked fine. I accessed the iPod and found a song I was discussing with a friend. I went to bed, woke up, and the iPod wouldn't load/open. It hadn't been charged or synched. No app or song downloads in between uses. No drops, no damage, nothing. I have an 8 gig and I have less than 1 gig of space left free. Could this be hampering the iPod launch?

You'll have to reinstall the iPhone's firmware. Open iTunes up, right click on the iPhone on the left hand side and select backup. The backup has been adjusted in iTunes so that it will also backup your camera roll, but if I were you I would make a copy of all your pictures just in case. After the backup finishes, click on the Restore button on the iPhone home page in iTunes. After the reinstall, it will prompt you to restore your backup to your iPhone. After the backup is restored, sync your iPhone with iTunes and all your data will be back on the iPhone.

My iphone won't start at all and slowly started to fade out

my iphone won't charge from Dec 31 midnight. well first it was freezing, and i lock it then i plug the charger. but it doesn't turn on until morning - right now actually. i already restore it and it was working but it freeze again! i reboot it over and over but black dots started to show up and the screen started to fade out. according to my experience, the screen were burned. is it means that i should go to the store for fixing it or i should get a new phone? HELP!

Did you try booting into your Recovery partition? Hold down the command and R keys whilst booting and if you can get to your Recovery partition use Disk Utility to verify your disk and, if needed, repair the disk.
If it can't be repaired, then it's likely dying.

Trying to get Iphone 4 to start up. Keep getting logo. Have to plug it in to get it to the home screen. I can not unplug it or it shuts down. When home screen does come up it won't find service. Wifi won't turn on either. Any sugestions

Hi, try to put your iPhone into recovery mode and do the restore again. Here are the steps:

My iPhone 4 just crashed. It happened a few days ago, and then started working fine. But once again it crashed yesterday. It took me 2 hours for itunes to finally recognize it so I was able to restore it. It worked fine for an hour and crashed again, now it will not start up at all. It's in perfect shape, i have not dropped it or got water into it. Depending on how they act today, will be the decision of whether I stay with Apple or move to Android.

Problem: iPhone won't start up

Hi everybody.
Today morning I rebooted my iPhone 3GS because it didn't see any wi-fi networks (happens quite often, I have to reset network settings) and now the phone doesn't start, it gets stuck on the apple boot screen. I doubt anything changed overnight unless I am somnambulistic which I kinda doubt..Any ideas what to try to start it again? I know I can somehow restore it but my last backup is a couple days old and I would prefer not to loose anything if possible..

Iphone won't start

My iphone wont work here are the symptones:
- it does not start
- Connected to the PC it keeps showing the apple logo
- iTunes does not recognise it
- DFU mode does not work
What should I do???? Please help me out!!

Plug into iTunes and restore. If it is not recognised by iTunes unplug it then hold down both the Home and Power buttons until you see the screen blackout. Now continue to hold the home button while you plug it in via usb. It will enter "recovery mode" and will show a connect to iTunes screen. Follow the prompts to restore your firmware and restore your data from a backup

HELP please... iPhone won't start or turn off. Apple logo only

I try to reboot the phone w/by pressing the button on top and the button on the bottom of the face of the phone. The phone will go dark then come back w/just the apple logo... it goes no where else.

Known issue (better to say known quirk, not issue, however Apple should document it.) When you force boot the phone while it is loaded and running you corrupt some database and next boot will take a long time to rebuild this information. My 32GB 3Gs can take up to 7-8 minutes to boot as I have it full of music and I think it's rebuilding the music database during this long boot startup. The situation you are in now is that you have to wait for it to finish booting. The best way I have found if you phone is not stuck is to push top button until you get Red slider to turn off, slide it and allow phone to power off itself. Once off, Hold Top button and Home buttons, Keep holding them, you will see Apple logo pop up, KEEP HOLDING BUTTONS, do not release them until Apple logo goes away. If when you release both buttons the phone starts up and you see the Apple logo you have not held the buttons long enough as it sometimes will need to cycle down twice. When you have it right, when you release both buttons the screen will stay black and phone will not auto-power up. In this state the phone is fully off, not in standby. If you have previously powered the phone off gracefully with the top-button+swipe then hit top button for a couple of seconds and Apple logo should appear and phone should boot within a minute and be ready for use. If you cycled the phone without first gracefully shutting down, the bootup process can take much longer, give it at least 10 minutes before giving up. I have not found this documented by Apple anywhere, I found it from trial and error. My wife has 16GB 3Gs and while playing with both I found this out. Hope it helps you.

When I tried to sync my iPhone t iTunes in my computer (Windows XP), it said something like: iPhone can not sync, the required disk can not be found.
So, I unplug my phone, then the phone turned off, have tried to restart the phone (push and hold the sleep and home button). But it can not be turn on again! Only appear the apple logo on my screen. Please Help

No, you cannot.
You should have left the SIM in the iphone and use the SIM that came with the new one for the new iphone.
You need either the previously active SIM ( that was in your iphone) to be in the iphone in order to restore, or you need an active SIM in the iphone.
