Iphone 5 wont connect to the internet even with full 3G signal
Basically I bought a brand new iphone 5 and I'm already having problems with it. I have transferred my old number over from my old sim card as I used to be on 02 and have transfered to T- Mobile so I gave them my PAC code and it's all in process and they said it would be done but the 1st October which is fine but in the mean time i still want to use my phone and all the benefits that come with it but i at the moment I cant even connect to the internet. I have full signal so full 3g everywhere I go but I still can't connect to the internet. I have already rung up T-mobile and got them to sort it out for me and they patched me through to Apple who said they could sort it out for me by turning my phone off and on again but still I had no internet. Even now, the next day it still isn't working so I really don't know what to do. Has anyone got any suggestion on this? Do you think it's the phone company or could it be the phone?

Have EXACTLY the same issue thePOPEofDOPE420, tried the setting> general> reset> reset network setting suggestion - but this does nothing. Still the issue persists.
WiFi - internet works great. As soon as it's off, status bars showing a full signal, 3G but the web page/Facebook app/App Store just hangs and won't load.
Not sure who to contact - T-Mobile or Apple?

Settings
General
Reset
Reset Network Settings
then try reconnecting
OR try this -----
Clicking forget this network on the top of the Wi-Fi (click the button where it leads to more info on the Wi-Fi)
then turn off the Wi-Fi and put it back on then it should come back up and try reconnecting -

Hello!My phone is an Iphone 5 My BBM was working fine until the end of the day, where it would say that it was still "connecting" to my internet, even though I had strong wi-fi. I left it for 45 minutes and it was still connecting. Also, when i was sent a message on there i'd get the "preview bar" or notification and be able to read it from there, but if i were to open the app and look, my messages wouldnt have sent and i cant see theirs either! I have restarted, turned off the internet, tried my 3G etc I have also reinstalled the app 5 times, to no avail.I manage to log in, it loads for a few minuites and then gives me the "temporary server error" However, I made a new account (to see if that would work) and it worked straight away! No loading errors at all!But when I try to use my account, it wont work. Could anybody help me here? Thankyou! xxx

Additional things to try.
Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
On your iPad go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings and see if that enables you to connect.

You purchased a new iPhone in the U.S. from an Apple retail store as carrier unlocked?
This is a problem with wi-fi only or with your carrier's cellular network? Any problem connecting to the internet with your carrier's cellular network you need to take up with your carrier.

To check on this go to Settings > Wifi > your network name and touch the ">" to the right to see the network details. If the IP address shown starts with 169 or is blank then your router didn't provide an IP address and you won't be able to access the Internet.
Sometimes the fix for this can be as simple as restarting your router (remove power to it for 30 seconds and restart). Next, reset network settings on your iPod (Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings) and then attempt to connect. In other cases it might be necessary to update the router's firmware with the latest from the manufacturer's support web pages.

hi everyone, i've updated all software etc to ios 5.0.1 from ios 4.1 as it has taken me 1 year to figure out how do the update. Everything has been restored and working but i've been able to connect to my wi-fi but still won't let me use the internet, I have done the 'forget network' and re-connected back to my wi-fi but still no connection to the actual internet. My laptop can't connect the internet through my WRT54G router. It detects it, it has 5 green bars, and I'm right next to the router but it doesn't want to go on the internet. All my wires are plugged in. I just don't know what to do...Please help.
Connect your Laptop hard wired to the router and check if you have Internet...If you don't have Internet, it means your router is not configured and you need to configure the router...

If you have Internet Access on your Laptop when it is hard wired, then click start and goto the Control Panel and double click on Network Connections, right click on Wireless Network Connection and click on Properties.
Now on this window, click on the second tab Wireless Network and give a check mark on "Use windows to configure my wireless" and then remove all the network names present in the Preferred Networks Window. Then click on OK...
Right click on the Wireless Network Connection again and click on View Available Wireless Networks and try to re-connect to your network...
Now it will give you the opportunity to put the network/wep key, make sure you enter the correct network key and confirm it...
It will connect...
If the above fails click on the Start button >>> Settings >>> Control Panel >>>Network

Why doesn't my iphone 4s connect to the internet even though I pay for the service?
I bought an iphone 4s but i'm not able to get any internet connection even though I pay for internet service through Verizon. Both Verizon and Apple have troubleshooted but still not connection! Apple gave me another new iphone 4c but still having the same problem. Now Verizon is goiing to send me a Refurbished iphone 4c. If I get this refurbished phone and still have the same problem I will be stuck with a phone with no internet. Has anyone else ever had this problem or anyone know what the problem is?

The new network config in rc.conf is not that complicated (wired anyway; never used wireless). OTOH I've had issues on two machines where I have to restart the network daemon (rc.d restart network) or rerun netcfg (netcfg eth0) after boot to get connectivity. And I still haven't come to grips with the ip command. -
my iphone has been lost in my house and i need to find a way to track it and its offline. it wont connect to the internet so there isnt a way to use find my iphone. i just want to play a sound on it. is there any way i can get a app that connects my ipod from a laptop or a different way to find it.
If your phone is offline, the ONLY way to find it is to look for it the old fashioned way. Your phone CANNOT be located electronically if it's offline.

hie there Actually um trying to update new iOS 7 for my iphone 4 but when i press the button to install new software suddenly it appears why " iOs 7 failed verification because you are no longer connected to the internet " even my phone is already connected to net
I tried powering down and re-starting the iPhone (as suggested at http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1275). This seems to have cleared the "...not connected to the Internet" problem, and iOS 6.1 is now in the process of downloading.

Try a reset: hold down the home button along with the power button until you see the Apple, then let go.

Now go to your router's settings. Not sure who makes your router...
Look at wireless part of it and see how many computers are actually hooked up to it.
Delete your computer from it (in your router).
Restart your router.
After your router has restarted, try to connect to it with your MB and see if you can browse the net.
