Iphone 5 wont start after updating ios7.04v

My Iphone 5 would not start after updating it to ois 7.0.4. It says i need to connect to itunes but when i do it asked me to restore to my original settings. when i tried doing that my iphone keeps crashing

Connect your USB cable to your computer but not to the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch until step 3.
Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
While pressing and holding the Home button down, connect the USB cable to the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. The device should turn on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen. When this screen appears, you can release the Home button:
Note: If the image of a battery appears, let the device charge for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has some charge, and then start with step 2 again. If you don't see the Connect to iTunes screen, try these steps 1 through 4 again.
iTunes should automatically open and display the following message:
"iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. You must restore this iPhone before it can be used with iTunes."Note: If iTunes not open after two minutes, please open iTunes yourself.
Use iTunes to restore the device.

Have a error code 4013. iphone 4s wont restore after update.

my iphone will not restore after update. it is stuck in recovery mode. i get error code 4013 everytime a try to restore but i cant find anything on error code 4013.

DFU mode is also good as stated above, however the instructions for DFU mode are below (please note this is not the same as recovery mode) -
Plug your device into your computer.
Turn off the device.
Hold the Home button and Power button for 10 seconds
Release the Power Button but keep holding the Home button
Keep holding the Home button until you are alerted by iTunes saying that it has detected a device in Recovery Mode
Make sure the device screen is blank and no logos are present, device screen should remain black.
Error 4013 is due to security software issues. Uninstall all security software completely, try again, if the issue persists I would either recommend another computer or calling AppleCare tech support at 1-800-APL-CARE (for US customers).
Note- this is even if your device worked fine prior to iOS 7 update with your security software. The change in the operating system on the device can cause compatibility issues with these other programs.

Garageband wont start after update to ilife 09

i update my ilife from 08 to 09, and now my garageband wont start anymore,it stucks everytime i start and the window "initialize" will not close.
at this point i try everything, delete the preference files in "user -libery-preferences" ,starting with apple -install-DVD and repair permission.
also delete garagaband 09 and re-install GB 08, after this and deleting pref-files again garagband 08 will start normaly
then i try again to update to Gb 09...and it stucks again when the app launch.
GB 09 will only shows the initialize window and stuck !

i had the same problem when i got my new macbook. I even tried to restore the whole OS then it finally works. But then it crashes again after i install some other program. I suspect the garageband 09 crash with some specific music program...but i still can't figure out which one. I've installed Garritan Personal orchestra, Emu 0404 driver, melodyn essential after that, i bet one of these program have problem.
What about you, have you got any other music program in your mac?

Iphone 5 wont start after standby

My iphone 5 screen went with blck/wite vertical stripes. After one month going to flat battery and charging it restarted. Now every time goes to standby it wont start. Only by rebooting. Does anyone know how to fix it? Is it a iOS 7.0.6 sw problem? YOur help is very much appreciated as my phone is out of warranty for a month :-(

It sounds like you are unable to turn the phone back on normally and must reset it to get back to your home screen. I recommend starting creating a backup of your device to iTunes with this article:

If it is a software issue, these steps will resolve it.

IPhone 4 cannot start after update to iOS 7.1

Hello,
I have an iPhone 4 with iOS 5.0. I didn't upgrade it to 7.0 because my friends have some problems with performance after updateing to 7.0.
Today my friend said that iOS 7.1 have fixed issues with performance on iPhone 4&4S, so I updates my OS.
This is what happend after update from 5.0 to 7.1:

Any idea what can I do to fix it? I don't have proof of purchase (lost long time ago). I tried hard reset (holding power button for 20+seconds) and problem still exist.

Thx, but it didn't helped - after reset iPhone still crash on apple logo, and I cannot restore with iTunes, because iTunes didn't recognized my phone.
I can go tommorow to the iDream, but can they help me if I don't have my proof of purchase?

hello! I updated to ios 8 two days ago and it was ok. I started using my iphone later that day and it just rebooted . Now it wont activate .

look... I start my iphone and and it goes to main LOCK screen where a message is shown, the message is "activation needed" . After I slide to unlock and write my security code it goes directly to the activation page , not to the very begging ,where you should select the lenguage but from the part where you have to chose a wifi connection . I connect to wifi and the activation process starts . On the screen is a message that tells me to wait a couple of minutes . After a couple of minutes there is another message shown on the screen where it tells me that the activation server is unreachable for the moment , please try again later . and this procedure can be repeated a hundred times and the same message will appear . It wont eaven reset . Any ideas wat is rong with it

N73 wont start after update

I updated to the new firmware and backed up my phone and after I tried to restore my backed up songs/numbers it wont boot up - all it does is boot to where it says Nokia and after a while the screensaver comes on, it never gets into the actual phone.
I have left the battery out, tried starting it without the sim card... I have no SD card... noting works.
I cant even get into it to reset it to factory settings!

You could try a hard reset but you will lose everything:
1. Switch off the phone.
2. Hold down the following three buttons: Green (the call answer button), * button, and '3' button.
3. While holding these buttons, press the power button and switch on the phone.
4. When the message 'Formatting' appears on the screen, release all of the buttons.
If that fails then visit a care point/service centre.

updated my iphone 5s to ios 7.0.6 via itunes. after finishing the update and after filling the location details only white screen is coming up with black apple logo.
nothing is happening after that.....

ive updated my iphone 3gs to ios 5 but now itunes wont activate my phone and comes up with a messege saying my phone has no sim inserted when it has one (original orange UK sim), what can i do to sort this out

I had the same problem with mine and found out because i bought it second hand and had it unlocked updating it causes it to go back to being locked again. If you've bought it in the same situation then maybe that's the problem, i got it unlocked really cheap too and now its back to normal and all my messges, apps and pics are back.

I update my iphone 5c ios 7.1.2 (i think) to ios 8.0.2, however when it was intalling it suddently stppoed and my iphone only displayed the itunes icon with the cable plug in in the screen. I searched all over the internet for the solution and it says to turn the device into recovery mode and plug it to itunes so it can restore with ios 8 on it, however my itunes doesnt find my device in any way, i tried updating my itunes my windows everything, but still doesnt work, help please!!

If your phone is in recovery mode, all data on it are gone. Certainly before performing a software update, you backed up your data and imported your important photos onto your computer, right?

Itunes wont start after updating on Windows

Ive updated to the most recent version of Itunes and now the program will not start. It immediately says Itunes has stopped working without even opening the program. Ive tried every single fix listed by apple on this website. Nothing has worked. I dont plan on buying anymore music through Itunes if apple cant even get the program to run properly

Go to Apple menu -> About This Mac
1. If it says Intel CoreDuo, you can only upgrade up to Snow Leopard 10.6.8.
2. If it says Intel Core2Duo or i3, i5, or i7, you need to buy Snow Leopard, install 10.6.6 or later to buy 10.7 or later.
Before you go down path number 2, recognize there are a lot of software title not compatible with 10.7 or later that are with 10.6.8 or earlier. See this tip:

Note the iPhone 5s can run a minimum of iOS 8.1.3 which will sync with 10.6.8 and iTunes 11.4. You only need 10.7.3 or later for syncing with iCloud itself.
And iTunes pre-version 11 is required to maintain iTunes Cover Flow. If you like Cover Flow, you may just have to resort to syncing your phone with Windows on your Mac.
