IPhone 5 Youtube videos have horrible quality even on fast wifi/LTE.

For awhile now I have been watching videos on youtube (and pretty much any other video platform) and have been noticing that occasionally I get HORRIBLE quality. The screen gets blurry, sound quality goes way down. Even if I am connected to home wifi (I have great wifi) it still goes blurry to the point where I would rather just do on the computer. On LTE and 3G I guess it was acceptable but wifi was the kicker. My iPod Touch 4g can have better video playback than my iPhone 5. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am running on 6.0.2.

That's probably simply due to the mobile device version of the video that you are watching just being horrible.
As always, an example link of a video that you are talking about would help.

I installed Safari 7.1. Now YouTube videos have a bad font for all the interface text that is part of the video embed.

Since installing Safari 7.1, all the text in YouTube videos (title, resolution, etc.) is all little font error boxes and therefore completely unreadable. Nothing else is having this problem, just the text that is in the embedded videos themselves.
Any suggestions?

What I did (in this order) was, set YouTube to HTML 5, bring Flash up to date, fontrestore, clean font cache with Fusion, reboot.
So far it has now remained fixed for me. I have Mavericks and it is up to date.
by ‘fontrestore’ I mean
sudo fontrestore default
in terminal as described on http://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/113107/how-to-restore-default-fonts-on- mavericks
fontrestore removed some of my fonts from my System and Library, but I moved them all back in on the theory that I might want to add fonts, but was not looking to remove them.
I don’t know which of these steps solved the problem. All I know is what I did and what the result was for me. As always, use ‘sudo’ at your own risk.

Most Youtube videos have an error

This started a few days ago, I have no idea how it started. Basically very many Youtube videos don't start in Firefox. They work fine in Chrome (although they don't seem to load instantly, takes a while to start). Here's a screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/z5XP0zU.png
What I've tried:
Reinstall Firefox
Reinstall Flash
Clear cache in both Firefox and Flash
New profile in Firefox
Change to HTML5 on Youtube (and turn off Flash in plug-ins)
The Youtube HTML5 page (https://www.youtube.com/html5) looks like this http://i.imgur.com/KlOSgOR.png. In Chrome it's all green.
Please help.

If I set media.mediasource.enabled = true, Youtube stops working completely if I have enabled html5. There's a never-ending loading screen on the flash player. The other combinations of html5 on and off and this true or false appear to be the same (error).
Yes I have cleared both cookies and cache, browser and flash.

This has been happening for a week now
Trying to watch a youtube video and it becomes very pixelated and hard to watch.
It only happens on Mozilla, but I like using Mozilla :) don't want to use Chrome.
I've tried safe mode and the problem still happens

Youtube videos really pixelated when resuming or fast forwarding

Since a day or 2 now, the youtube videos get Veeeery pixelated, it affects any video, when it should be looking like this http://puu.sh/87hD5.jpg it looks like this http://puu.sh/87hzs.jpg , It's VERY annoying, i already tried to disable all the extensions to no avail, and my graphics card should be able to handle material acceleration, and even when it's deactivated it continues anyway. (Gtx 660)

Ok geniuses, I have a problem that I am fairly certain is user error somehow.   I have an iPhone 4S.   I have a linksys router.   My wifi runs fine with every device in the house.   However, ONLY on my iPhone, it ALWAYS makes me put my password in.

We have another iPhone 4 in the house and it reconnects to the wifi just fine. The kindle, the laptop, the Xbox all reconnect fine. However, for some reason, my iPhone 4S makes me type in the wifi password multiple times a day.   It will connect and works fine while connected.   However, if I let it go to sleep, when I unlock the screen my wifi is "not connected".   I have to deselect the router and retype the password.   If something is using wifi like I heart radio or pandora or an update is downloading, it won't switch off the wifi, but in any other circumstance if the screen locks up and goes to sleep, when I unlock it I will need to reselect my network and retype the password. I have been dealing with this for months and have googled several times for a solution with no success. I'm pretty sure that when I was first setting up the wifi, I changed some setting on either the phone or the
router, but of course I can't figure out what I might have done. Please help!

I read the article thanks.   I tried the settings-general-reset-reset network settings-reboot system-go to wifi settings-select wireless connection-select the ">"-symbol-select auto for http proxy.   I was optimistic about that because I thought I changed some setting somehow to cause this problem, but it didn't work. More specifically, I did connect successfully and browsed the Internet for a good while, but then I put down the phone for a minute, the phone went into sleep/power save mode, and when I picked it back up a moment later it was no longer connected. Dang.   Had to select the connection and use my password yet again.
Another valuable bit of info for you.   The only network with which I have this problem is my home.   I use all kinds of devices at home and no other devices have this problem. Also, I use this iPhone all over with various wifi networks at hotels and starbucks and family's homes with no issues whatsoever. It remembers and automatically reconnects with every wireless network except the one in my own house.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Flash player multiple times to no avail. Youtube still insists I do not have a current version.

YouTube video have to load everytime

Every time i go onto youtube and watch videos i have already watched they have to load all over again. I have seen people on Internet Explorer and theres already have loaded if they have watched them before. Is there anyway i can make it remember the ones i watch and so i don't have to load them again!!!????

I'm running the most recent update 10.8.2 on my Macbook Pro and my YouTube videos have no sound....iTunes has sound as do recordings that I make with Garage Band and ScreenFlow. Any ideas for me?

Why are YouTube videos blank?

It seems that only embedded YouTube videos have issue with Safari. I have the latest version of Safari and Flash, have removed and reinstalled both applications several times and other Flash content plays fine (videos on Newgrounds and Hulu, content on Adobe's site, etc). The only things I cannot play are embedded YouTube videos or videos located on YouTube's site. Nothing shows up at all. Just a negative space where the Flash embed should be. I do not have this issue with the latest version of Firefox.

sorry, did a search and nothting came up for some reason, but as i posted i see posts on the right that sound like my problems so i'm tryin them as i see them and updating my question accordingly.....said to turn off extensions...and that was my first solution the last time this happened, and they have never since been turned on....so they are already off....so that's not helping either...
