IPhone 5c won't connect to cellular data after leaving wi-fi

Every time i leave my house's wifi for some reason my i phone 5c wont connect to celluar data? is this happaning to anyone els? please help   and i just got my phone 4 days ago 2/24/14 Carrier Sprint.

Okay, if it is displaying 1X in the corner, then you are connecting to their slow internet. You need to contact Sprint and have them check your account. It almost looks like you are not provisioned correctly for data. Also, what is the signal strength on the phone when you are seeing this?
You can try a couple of troubleshooting steps before contacting Sprint. First, power the phone off. Hold the sleep/wake button down until you can see the red slider, then slide that until the phone powers off. Turn the phone back on and after it boots up, see if that corrects your problem. If not, then try a reset. This will not affect any data on your phone. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone will reboot. This can take 15-30 seconds.

  • IPhone 6 won't connect to cell data after leaving wifi

iPhone 6 won't connect to cell data after leaving wifi signal.  Need to reboot or go into airplane mode.  My area has LTE, but iPhone hasn't connected to that ever.  I'm thinking bad antenna or is this a cell provider problem.  I'm on AT&T.

  • I cant download apps throgh wifi on my iphone however when i connect to cellular data it starts downloading. then what is wrong over wifi , i tried reset network setting but i didnt help

i cant download apps throgh wifi on my iphone however when i connect to cellular data it starts downloading. then what is wrong over wifi , i tried reset network setting but i didnt help

Definitely sounds like an issue with your Wi-Fi network. Do any other devices on the network have similar issues? Is it an issue only with downloading apps? You can check by trying to load a website in Safari.
I would try turning your Wi-Fi router off for 1 minute, and back on again.
After doing that, disconnect and re-join the Wi-Fi network on your iPhone and try downloading an app again.

  • Ipad mini won't connect to cellular data - fully

Got ipad mini for Xmas.  Finally got round to getting EE SIM.  Shows as being active with signal, but cannot connect to internet.  Took SIM back to Carphone Warehouse (where SIM came from) and they thought it was the APN settings but checked and it wasn't.  They then put the Sim into a phone and it worked fine.
They suggested that the ipad was blocked which happens when it's been stolen.  It hasn't.  I have my husbands receipt.
Have subsequently tried everything listed in these discussion pages and on Apple help pages including reset, on and off etc but it still isn't working.  Have rung John Lewis (where ipad was purchased) and they have said to take it in to them.  Thought I'd try here first as they indicated that it may have to be sent away.
Have ipad 2 with EE SIM working fine, but too much demand in our house for ipad to be without my new one!
    Please help.

Thanks.  Have tried switching to 3G already.  Think I have turned on and off just about everything I can.
Have also tried to get cellular to work in a number of different areas (not just at home) including the shop where they got SIM to work in a HTc phone.  I don't have an adapter but since the SIM worked ok in another appliance, I'm assuming that it's not worth me trying that?
When you put the SIM in, it's meant to automatically go to registration page for EE. I don't recall it doing that which is odd but it does come up as 'EE' with a good signal in the top left of ipad.
Any other ideas gratefully received before I make trip to John Lewis.
Many thanks for your suggestions so far.

  • HT4623 i can connect to itunes via wifi on iphone 5c but cannot connect using cellular data

Hi all, can anyone please resolve this issue
    Ian

Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new).  Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

  • IPhone 4S Won't Connect to App Store After iOS 6 Update!

After a long wait for the new iOS update when I enter the "App Store" there is a box that pops up saying that I can't connect to "App Store," that even happens while I'm connected to WIFI... Although I still can connect to "iTunes" music store!

Reset your iPhone.  Hold Sleep Key and Home Key together for more than 15 sec.  Now try your App Store again.

  • Why do i have to restart my iphone 4 to connect to cellular data network after moving out of wifi range?

Whenever I move out of a wifi zone, I expect my iphone to connect to cellular data automatically. But this doesn't happen. I have tried turning flight mode on/off and also tried turning cellular data on / off couple of times, but nothing works.
I only get the cellular data connection back after I restart my iphone.
I started having this problem after upgrading to iOS7.
Any idea how to fix this?

    Hi beingkejo,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
Toggling Airplane mode and cellular data are good troubleshooting steps. If your iPhone still does not connect to cellular data automatically when Wi-Fi disconnects, I recommend the additional steps in this article:

  • HELP I keep getting an error message on my IPHONE 4 that says Unable to connect to Cellular Data. How do I fix this?

HELP I keep getting an error message on my IPHONE 4 that says Unable to connect to Cellular Data and I have tried to reset network settings and factory reset but nothing helping so far. Took it to Verizon and they couldn't fix it either, said it's a problem with the phone itself and to contact Apple. My warranty is expired so Apple isn't much help either. How do I fix this? I have a data package so confused and I have had my phone for over a year but never had this issue before.

I am getting this message also.... mine cant update too...

  • Updated iTunes to 11.0 (161). Now one iPhone 4 won't connect

My wife and I each have an iPhone 4 that we backup and sync on a shared MacBook Pro. They have been working fine.
Yesterday evening I updated iTunes to 11.0 (163). One iPhone 4 connects to iTunes and seems fine. I can backup and sync. The other iPhone showed up once briefly, then iPhoto opened automatically as if I had connected a camera or memory card. This same iPhone 4 will not show up in iTunes now. I've restarted the MBP and the iPhone multiple times but nothing. The cable seems fine since it works with the other iPhone. This second iPhone just won't connect.
    Any ideas?
    John Brock

I think the problem is the iphone itself and the update to iTunes 11 was just a coincidence. My other iPHone 4 an both of my iPod Touches still connect, backup, and sync just fine.
I'll try a factory reset to see if it's some buggered up setting, but my guess is the data port is toast. I'll see about repairing it or replacing it if the reset doesn't work.

  • Why my iphone 6 won't connect to continuity , only my ipad mini 2

My iphone 6 won't connect to continuity , only my ipad mini . both are in the same network an bluetooht on and my mac mini can't use the iphone to make calls

Which version of OS X is your Mac mini?
    Phone calls
With Continuity, you can make and receive cellular phone calls from your iPad, iPod touch, or Mac when your iPhone is on the same Wi-Fi network.
To make and receive phone calls, here's what you need:
Sign in to the same iCloud account on all your devices, including your Mac.
Your iPhone and your iPad or iPod touch need to use iOS 8 or later. Your Mac needs to use OS X Yosemite.
All devices must be on the same Wi-Fi network.
All devices must be signed in to FaceTime using the same iCloud account. This means any device that shares your Apple ID will get your phone calls. Look below for instructions on how to turn off iPhone cellular calls.
Wi-Fi Calling needs to be off. Go to Settings > Phone. If you see Wi-Fi Calling, turn it off.

Also I updated all my PC software, as well as my Iphone and still nothing. I tried plugging in my itouch to see if it would work and it does! So i think something with my phone is the problem! Please help!

    Hi,
I have the same trouble. After reading many internet sites around this subject I found the following solution.
Although apple explained that it is not necessary with the lightning connector to use it in a special direction this seems not to be true.
I have just turned my connector by 180° and it is working again.
Hopefully this direction does not fail too. There are only 2 possibilities
