IPhone 5s can't connect to HP C7280 All-in-One wireless printer

I'm trying to connect to my IPhone 5s to my wireless HP C7280 AiO printer. I just downloaded HP AiO Remote app. My printer is connected by ethernet to
the same wireless network as my phone. My phone can't locate the printer when selecting this wireless configuration. My printer is in the list of supported printers. Please help. Thanks!

The printer needs to be connected through the same WiFi network as the iPhone in order to use AirPrint. Connecting via Ethernet will not work.

Can you connect your iPad 2 to a non-wireless printer? can you buy a USB for it?

Please help me out! I was thinking of getting an iPad 2 for Christmas. Do you have to have a wireless printer? I don't have a wireless one so could i connect the iPad 2 to my non-wireless printer with a USB?

HP Photosmart C7280 All-in-one problem printing. Ink System Failure has failed unable to copy--

I'm having a problem printing on my HP Photosmart C7280 All-In-One. The following message is what came up on the printer screen: Ink System Failure has failed unable to copy, receive faxes or print. Refer to printer documentation Error O.cl9a0007.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hey Spider! First off welcome to the forum.
I would recommend removing all the ink cartridges, unplugging the USB cable from the computer that connects to the printer, and then shutting the printer off completely by removing the power cord. Then restart your computer. Turn the printer back on but leave it disconnected from the computer. After it has finished its power on cycle go ahead and insert the ink cartridges back into the printer and be sure to seat them properly.
After you have all the cartridges back in the printer properly then connect it to the computer. See if this resolves the issue. If not post back with any findings.

Can I share HP PSC 1610 All-In-One series printer through Bonjour?

I have an iBook G4, and a Mac Mini (10.4.11- Tiger) with a HP PSC 1610 All In One series printer connected to it by USB. On my iBook G4, the printer comes up under Shared Printers in the Printer Setup Utility but when I click on it, and press Show Info it freezes.. so I was wondering, is there a way to connect to the printer wirelessly with the correct driver (because the driver doesn't show up in the driver list... and the driver is installed.)

I've got a HP PSC1510 All-In-One printer, scanner, copier connected via ethernet (RJ45) cable directly to my desktop PC.
My PC is cabled to my BT Home Hub V1 (white).
My daughter and son connect wirelessly to my Home Hub and thence to the Internet.
Does anyone know if (and how) I can connect my PSC1510 to my Home Hub and so allow it to be shared by my hardwired PC and the wirelessly connected laptops?
I've looked in HP PSC1510 help but can't find anything that does help........

With some printers you can use the USB port on the hub. On the HH V1 its not that good, could still be worth a try. Install the printer on the computers, then move it to the HH, go back to the computers an set up an IP/TCP printer port (plenty of info on net how to do..IP address 192.168.1.253). It worked with 1 of my 5 printers OK, did strange things with the others (ie print 1 page the lockup). Would suggest you try it wilth the computer the printer is already connected to and if it works then try the others. If you do succeed then you will loose the use of the scaner on the printer.
Since you already (sort of) use one computer as a server (e-mailing prints) it would make more sence to share the printer over the network.

Using scanner on an HP C7280 all in one when printer component doesnt work

I have an HP C7280 that has been having problems not printing for a lot of reasons that are not fixable. However, I would like to use the scanner portion of the printer. Is there a way to get the printer to scan/copy only and eliminate the printer side of the "all in one"?

Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I understand that you would like to retire your printer and only use it as a copier/scanner.
To better assist you, would you please give me some information on the reasons why the printing side is being retired? I’m asking because there are some errors that can occur that will stop you from using the scanner/copying features, in particular copying as it will use the printer side of things. In addition would you please let me know how the printer is connected (USB cable, ethernet, or wireless)?

I have an hp photosmart c7280 all-in-one series printer won't print. error message, system problem

I have an HP Photosmart All-in-One C7280 series printer/fax/copier/scanner. I have been having issues with printing for the past few weeks. It is a wireless printer, with a jack into the wall (for fax) and it is plugged into a power source. I never used to have issues with it before, but recently, it won't print when I send a document to it to print. It will print its configuration pages, reports, etc if I select them from the Printer's menu but not when I send a doc to it to print. First it was saying it was offline, but I figured out how to override that by operating as an administrator and selecting "Use Printer Online" from the dropdown menu when I right clicked on the printer from the control panel. But now it says "Error: Printer failed to print document. System error".
Noooo clue what to do now. This is the only color printer we have so we kind of need it to work. We bought this printer off the shelf at a office store (before I started working here) and so we don't have any designated technichians to work on it. I asked the guy who services our Image Runner Copier to look at it but he had no clue what was wrong with it. Hopefully someone can help?

Photosmart C7280 All-In-One Wireless Not working

My wireless printing was working fine with my Photosmart C7280 for about at least a year or more and now recently the wireless side stopped working. My Apple devices (both iPad and Macbook) stopped recognizing my printer. Even when I tried to add via IP address, it would not take.
My printer is working fine when hard wired thru both my PC and Macbook via USB.
I tried resetting my printer network settings by restoring to Network Defaults and adding back in my SSID and Password. It shows it is connected. But when I run a Wireless Network Test Page from within the printer settings, it shows everything passed and signal strength is excellent. However, the last diagnosis in the summary shows "No" to "Other networks detected matching your network name (SSID)" so I am wondering if my printer is actually connecting properly to my network? Since I have other wireless devices connected to the same SSID.
I turned both the printer and other devices off and then on to reboot. I turned the wireless radio within the printer settings off and on again.
Another thing I'd like to mention is that before I deleted the printers in my Apple devices, they still showed my Photosmart 7200 series, but stated they were inactive.
Also when I was able to get into my Verizon FIOS Broadband Router Management software thru my browser, it showed all my wireless devices, but it also showed my Photosmart as being inactive wirelessly, where the other devices that were turned on at the time were showing connected.
I am wondering if it may have been a recent Apple update that may have caused this problem? However the Verizon Fios also showed the printer as being inactive so I am guessing not?
I have been working on this issue for days and spent a ton of time thus far, so any suggestions to resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.
I am about mid-level in technical understanding. So please spell out answers to any resolution steps very simply in your reply.

Honestly, ISP-issued routers are very problematic. Restart the Westell by pulling its power cord momentarily just before trying to connect the printer.

HP C7280 all-in-one duplex printing problem - Long and short sided binding!

I use a HP 7280 all-in-one printer and have the duplexer attached. Up to installing snow leopard I have been able to print two sided documents from ipages no problems. But now every time I try to print a two sided document in flips the second side vertically (basically meaning it is binding is always long edge). When I change the setting from long edge binding to short side it makes no difference at all!!! I know this used to work, but it appears snow leopard changed that!! Any suggestion to fix the problem, thanks

One of the common issues with automatic duplexing, is the requirement of increased margins due to the way that the process works. It is not a defect, it is simply the way that the process needs to ensure print quality when auto duplexing. In contrast, manual duplexing does not have the same needs, as it draws directly from the tray. From testing of other brands, I can say that I have seen the margin issue occur with other manufacturers as well. Seems to be a necessary evil when auto duplexing.

HP Photosmart C7280 All in One - not printing

have replaced black & cyan cartridges but still get printer message saying Out of Ink. Have restarted printer and computer, downloaded printer driver, unplugged and reconnected. Control Panel shows cartridges all have ink, but still get Out of Ink in Print menu.

I would like to help you with this. I suggest removing the cartridges and reinstalling them, if an alignment does not begin automatically, I recommend performing an alignment manually. Please follow the instructions below.
Remove the cartridges.
If the alignment page does not print, press the Setup button ( ) on the front screen of the printer
Press the Down Arrow button ( ) to select Tools, and then press OK.
Press the Down Arrow button ( ) to select Align Printer, and then press OK. The product prints an alignment page, aligns the printhead, and then calibrates the product.
After the success or failure message appears on the control panel display, press OK to continue.
If the issue persists, clean the printheads
Open the HP Solution Center, click on settings
Under Print Settings , click Printer Toolbox . The Printer Toolbox opens in a new window.
Click the Device Services tab.
Click Clean the Printhead.

Iphone 6 can't connect to data network

My new iphone 6 can't connect to my service provider's data network. I've tried with 2 different SIM cards. It is receiving calls and sms but when I try to use the internet, it says the phone isn't connected to a data network. (The wifi is working fine.) Has anybody heard of this happening? The service provider says it's a bad iphone, Apple support says it's a problem on the provider's end since calls and sms are working. I don't know anybody else with a nano SIM card I can borrow to test, and I have to wait 5 days for the next appointment at an Apple store. Is there anything else I can try to do from here? Thanks!

I have the exact same problem. There are countless other threads on this and I have tried all the tricks in the book to get it to work again. With no success. I cannot connect to any wifi router (home, work, public...). I also restored the phone various times and now can't backup from iCloud because of missing Wifi. This is extremely frustrating. I really hope Apple puts out an iOS update very soon as this issue as all but new.

I have a similar,but slightly different problem. My iphone 4 recgonizes my home wifi and shows it under Settings, but will not access it, no signal shown, just 3G. It will access other wifi signals. My wife's iphone works fine, as does an ipad and macbook. This is new for my iphone, about 2-3 days.
