Iphone 5s error code 4013

My iphone 5s is stuck on the itunes screen on bootup. I keep getting the error code 4013 when i try to restore it. Can anyone help me?

As always:
Use the latest version of iTunes
Make sure iPhone has enough space to bring in a new update. A gig or more is recommended.
Also make sure the iPhone is not low on battery.
The Real Problem
Error 4014 (or 4013) is usually associated with a hardware problem – a faulty cable, a faulty port etc. On the surface, your iPhone connects to the computer, iTunes recognizes the device but somewhere down the line, iTunes thinks that the cable is not really that good. Or may be the port isn’t.The first thing you try should be change the USB port to which you connect the iPhone. Next up, change the cable that you use. Arguably, this has worked not for everyone but for a few people.
As an extreme measure, you can also try updating from some other computer which has the latest iTunes installed.
Backing Up and Going Into Recovery ModeIf you are trying to update the firmware without doing a clean restore but running into this error (even after changing the cables), it’s time to cut the chase. This method is usually recommended as the last-thing-to-try but I think it’s easier to get this done with right away.
Connect your iPhone to the computer. Fire up iTunes.
Backup your iPhone.
Now disconnect the iPhone, quit iTunes.
Put the iPhone in recovery mode. The short version goes like this: press and hold power and home buttons till the screen goes blank.
Open iTunes on PC.
Connect the iPhone. iTunes should indicate (through a dialog box) that an iPhone is detected in recovery mode.
Now go ahead and restore the device as new. This will erase everything but you will have the backup to restore from.
Some Notes
Occasionally, the error seems to vanish when people update to the last iOS 6.x version and then update to iOS 7. (This applies when you are on iOS 6.0, 6.1).
Clear out apps and app memory to free up space on your iPhone. Although this sounds very unrelated to this error, it has helped.

DFU mode is also good as stated above, however the instructions for DFU mode are below (please note this is not the same as recovery mode) -
Plug your device into your computer.
Turn off the device.
Hold the Home button and Power button for 10 seconds
Release the Power Button but keep holding the Home button
Keep holding the Home button until you are alerted by iTunes saying that it has detected a device in Recovery Mode
Make sure the device screen is blank and no logos are present, device screen should remain black.
Error 4013 is due to security software issues. Uninstall all security software completely, try again, if the issue persists I would either recommend another computer or calling AppleCare tech support at 1-800-APL-CARE (for US customers).
Note- this is even if your device worked fine prior to iOS 7 update with your security software. The change in the operating system on the device can cause compatibility issues with these other programs.

Iphone 4 error code 2001

The battery on my iphone went dead. Now i get the cable and itunes logo when connected to the cable. Phone switches off when not connected. I connect to Itunes and it says i must restore. When i click restore i get an error code 2001. Did a google search and all the things i found that people say works doesnt work for me. New cables, DFU, USB Hub/no hub etc
Any help will be appreciated

IPhone 3GS error code 26

Hi all, since I updated my iPhone 3GS 32g to iOS 5 it is dead, error code 26. I presented it at a local retailer where I bought it almost 2 years ago. After 2 weeks of waiting SBE company simply mailed me they won't repair it since it has a minor crack at the dock connector (iPhone still in guarantee). They suggest me to swap it for 339 euro for an 8 gig. Mine is 32 gig and was solid before the update! Is there anything I can do? Is error 26 unrepairable?

6. Connect your computer directly to your Internet source, bypassing any routers, hubs, or switches. You may need to restart your computer and modem to get online.

Iphone 3GS Error code 14 after trying to update to ios4

Hi!
So i tried to upgrade my iPhone 3GS, which I just got back from apple, to iOS4.
After downloading iOS 4 via iTunes it started installing and then crashed right when it began installing. Bam Error Code 14.
Funny thing i upgraded my Girlfriends 3G two days earlier on the same book.
Well so I started trying everything:
Use an other USB Port
Use an other cable
Create new user on Mac and reinstall iTunes
Redownload ios 4 via iTunes
Redownload ios 4 via the Internet
Try in DFU Mode
Even tried downgrading to Os 3.1.3./3.1.2
Of course also tried an other pc and an other mac.
nothing works for me!
Kinda annoyed cauz I really need my Phone!!!

Iphone 4S error code 36

hi i upgraded my iphone 4S from IOS 7.0 to 7.0.2, it went on restart and didn't make the successfull loading. now when i connect it through itunes, it asks for the restore and when do so, it comes with Error Code 36, please anybody can help me, would be grateful.

I have recently installed the new software on my iphone 4s - Error code 1600

Please does anybody know....
I have just installed the new software update on my iphone 4s soon after it my phone kept turning itself off then it wouldnt come on at all so i connected it to my mac it said my iphone was in recovery mode so needed to install new software.... i waited for 10 mins roughley then at the very end it said cannot install update then it came up with - unknown error code 1600.
Does anyone know if i can fix this from home or do i need to take it into the shop?

Programm not installed on the iPhone, unknown error Code 0xE8000001

i tried to synch my iphone after installing OS4 on my iPhone and get the above error code by some applications. Other applications are installed without any problems.
I have had the some problem with syncing the apps we the new iPad. Also there i get the above error code for some apps. But also there some are installed without any problems.
If i install the apps trough the App Store once again, it's working.
Has somebody any idea to solve the problem?

I experienced a similar problem as it occured to Edgar. After a painful update of my iPhone to OS 4.0 none of my apps was installed on my phone. I tried to sync my iPhone via iTunes and everythng seemed to by right.
But at the end of the sync I was told that some of my apps (to be honest: not one) could not be installed because of "an unknown error ocurred: (0xE8003FFE)"
Even after reboot of my iPhone, an update of iTunes and a second try could not avoid this error.
I think that this is a severe problem, because I'm using some apps for my buiness.
I'm also looking for a solution for this problem. Is there anybody who can help?

after half submerginf my iphone 5s( approx 8 weeks old!!!!!) in half a cup of coffee during very busy school run.. i dried it as best as i could , then poppd it in rice for 48hrs... and whne plugged in sayd connect to itunes so i do and the apple logo and then restore process starts, only says waiting for iphone for ags and then the connect to itunes appears again on my phone and error 4013 on itunes...arrrghhh! you cna see the water damage under my screen still tho after leaving it to dry it has diminished a tiny bit... any hel or advice befor i take a very costly trip to the apple store? i am in the uk so if any one could giv eme a idea of the cost to replace through apple? no insurance and this will invalidate the warrenty i know ( i dont think i tripped the watr sensors tho??!)

I finally decided to upgrade to ios7 but I go stuck in recovery mode. Then when i tried to restore my phone, I kept getting this message. I've googled and searched the forum for what this error means but I've yet to find an answer. Can anyone help me here?
