IPhone 5s... Everytime I delete Voicemails... some or all keep coming back as new voice messages

Is anyone else having this problem? Please Help
Thanks Much

jlaketx:  the reason you can't web surf at the same time as calls is because of the cell network technology.  Verizon uses CMDA which can't handle voice and data simultaneously.  AT&T uses a GSM network which can.  That's been from day one.   LTE can handle it, so as Verizon moves to LTE that should become a non-issue, but presently it's still a BIG issue.
That said, I have the same visual voicemail problem, and my gut says it's an AT&T server issue.  I can't prove it, and this is just conjecture on my part, but...  I notice that after deleting voicemails, they will come back some time later.  It "feels like" it's not a software glitch thing within the phone, but rather a push-technology sort of thing where the server pushes the voicemail message back to the phone again.  I'm finding that if I'm patient and let the phone sit a bit, then go into DELETED and wait a minute the "Clear All" that was greyed out will pop up active and I can click it.  Be patient and let the phone sit and they will all clear sometimes, or "mostly" clear other times.  Just now it happened again (which made me come searching for latest info again) - I deleted 8 and 2 came back.  Well, at least 6 are gone *rolling eyes*.     But I noticed (emperically) that if I "clear all" and then immediately go about my business and jump out of the app and go do something else, they are far more likely to come back.  So that starts leading me to think there's some kind of dialog/handshake between the phone and the server that's not fully completing to the satisfaction of the server, and the server isn't fully clearing them out, and then turns round and re-pushes them back down to the phone again.   Just a guess...

  • When I delete email items they repeatedly keep coming back as new mail.  How do I stop this?

After I downloaded the latest operating system, deleted old emails keep reappearing in my inbox.  It takes several tries at deleting to get rid of them.  They also go into my Outlook on the desktop so that I can print and save  documents.

Log into your webmail on a browser and delete them from there.

  • I have tow itunes libraries.  Music from one library has merged with the other and I can not delete the songs.  They keep coming back.

I have two ipod touch libraries under my account.  One for my daughter and one for me.  I bought my daughter an Iphone and then opened her ipod touch libraryon the computer (Windows Vista).  I plugged in her iphone so that she can have the stuff from her ipod touch on her new phone.  Somehow her library has partially merged with my library.  My ipod touch now has some of HER games and music on it.  I went into my library and deleted these games and songs, but they keep coming back.  How do I get rid of these once and for all.  I don't want to be shuffling AC/DC, Rob Zombie, and then get Justin Bieber all of a sudden while sitting at a red light in traffic.

  • How to delete a junk mail that keeps coming back after deleting it from the junk box?

I have a junk mail from February that I really want to delete but it keeps coming back after deleting it several times. It comes back in the junk mail as 'read'.
    How should I remove it?
Thanks for your help in advance!

If the email provider is Google, try going to the gmail web portal, (log on from a computer or your iPad using safari), and manually delete the contents of your junk and trash.
I did this today, and the reappearing junk has not (as of yet) reappeared.  Knocking on wood.

  • Deleted and re-installed LDOM keeps coming back

I am using 11g 11.1.0.1571. I installed an LDOM and installed an OS from a FLAR, and because of problems I deleted it and reinstalled it. I created a new LDOM with a different name and installed a Solaris 10 OS with the old name. It works fine, but there is a 'ghost' LDOM hanging around in the BUI that I can't get rid of. Or rather, I can 'delete' the dependent OS, but I can't delete the ghost LDOM until I go to https://<my-oem-server>/xvm and track down all the occurrences in the domain model and manually unregister the Mbean. In the BUI the old LDOM looks like it's halted, and it's taken on the name of the physical XVM server- weird.
It goes away in the BUI, but as soon as I restart Ops Center it just comes back! Has anybody else seen this? Is there an XML file somewhere in my EC that's saving an entry for this old LDOM and OS?

    Hi,
What’s the permission of the user who deleted the folder in the synced library?
If the user has no permission to delete the folder in the library and he deletes the folder in his local folder where the library is synced, then the folder will not be deleted in the library and the folder will be re-synced to the folder where the user
    syncs the library.
If the user has permission to delete the folder in the library, then the folder will be deleted in the library and the folder will also be deleted in other users’ local folder.
I recommend to check if there is someone with right permission who re-created the folder in their local folder.

  • I keep deleting my emails and they keep coming back....help!

I keep deleting my emails and emptying the trash.  They disappear and my inbox and trash box both say "no mail".  Then within about 10 minutes they all re-appear in my inbox.  My Trash box remains empty.  This has been going on for months now.  Driving me crazy!

Gmail, Right?  Gmail iMap is not listening to AppleMail.
Log in to your Gmail account using your internet browser.  Delete all the mail in your Junk/Spam folder online, then empty the deleted items folder.
THEN, check with your iPhone.  Or Mac.

  • I have an older I-Pad and have daily recurring spam.  Always the same and some going back to January. I delete them every day and they delete them in the trash folder but they keep coming back.  How do I get rid of them ?

I have an older I-pad and have recurring spam. How do I stop it ???  I delete it every day and then delete the trash folder but it keeps coming back.  Thanks.

For those kind of mails, unsubscribing doesn't work. they're breaking the law trying to scam you, they're not going to respect unsubscribe. Unsubscribe only works with real companies. Such as unsubscribing from Gap company mail etc. Spammers can actually use the 'unsubscribe' as a confirmation 'hey, there's a real person here, hit em hard'
I'm not really familiar with g-mail, but most mail programs have filters you can set up, such as telling it 'everything with dating in the title, send to the trash' etc.
You can do some research on that or have someone help you with some hands on help.
If that e-mail has ever been used for e-greeting cards, or given to enter contests, etc, your address is out there. You will never get rid of it totally.
If it's really, really bad, sometimes what you have to do is abandon the address and get a new one and only give it out to people you want to contact you. Don't  enter it on websites, or use e-cards or things like that that are spam collection mechanisms.

  • Help! my imovie project library is full of temporary folders.. some are the ones i deleted.. i tried deleting the folders one by one but when i try to open the imovie, the folders keep coming back to my project library..

help! my imovie project library is full of temporary folders.. some are the ones i deleted.. i tried deleting the folders one by one but when i try to open the imovie, the folders keep coming back to my project library..

If it was working on 10/1, why not open up the most recent backup library with a timestamp of that day. Unless you specified otherwise, your backup folder is in Movies in your home folder. You can double-click one to open it in FCP.
The update command actually wants a mounted drive selected.
I suggest not going into the library bundles and moving or modifying folders/files except as a last resort. It sounds like both libraries are corrupted.

  • Emails once deleted keep coming back.

Have iphone 4 updated with 5.0.1. Emails once deleted keep coming back. Restored phone but it didn't work.

I have an android phone. If I read a message on my phone, it still shows up on my desktop.
One of the problems with deleting messages is that I when I delete messages from the main Inbox (the Inbox that includes all incoming messages from all accounts), some of those messages stay in the Inbox for the individual account as unread. A typical scenario is that after reading all of my new email and deleting messages, I notice that Mail shows that I still have unread mail. So I go to the Inbox for an individual email account, and there are a bunch messages that I deleted (sometimes half, sometimes all of what I deleted) that are in the Inbox of the individual account and show as unread. Then when I go back to the main Inbox, and all of the messages that I deleted are suddenly back in the that Inbox. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to which messages get stuck. Sometimes the messages go away on their own. Sometimes they won't ever go away. I delete them from the main Inbox; they come back. I delete them from the individual account Inbox; they come back. I go to the Trash, delete them before they've gone back the the Inboxes, and they come back. The only way I can get rid of these zombie messages is to access the account through a browser and delete those messages online.
Another problem I have, is that Mail is constantly asking me to re-enter the password for one of my email accounts. Fortunately, it's an account I use less frequently, but it's a real problem when I Mail asks me to re-setup up an account every time I open Mail.
The problem has doubled or tripled the time it takes for me to keep track of my email. I'm going through reviews and looking for a replacement for Mail. I will be the first time I've used something besides Mail since I used Eudora (during the time when it was the best program available and you had to buy it).

  • Deleted mail keeps coming back in to mail

Using mail on Imac, Laptop, ipad and iphone.
When I move a message to a folder on the imac it keeps coming back in to the mail account.  It appears to work OK on the laptop when I move a message.  All the settings appear to be the same.  Any idea what is going on?
    Thanks

An update to my previous questions.  This problem I think started after Maverick was installed.  Also if I just try to delete a message it will pop back in.  Appreciate someone telling me what is going on?
    Thanks

  • Deleted emails in Mail keep coming back since 10.10.3 update

Mac Mail won't let me delete email or move email to other mailboxes since updating to 10.10.3. I delete messages or move them to other folders/mailboxes, and they keep coming back to my Inbox. Some messages come back almost instantly. Some come back after a few minutes. Other messages have come back that I deleted earlier in the day. There don't appear to be duplicates, since the messages I deleted aren't in the trash or in the folder/mailbox to which I moved them. Some messages have stayed in the trash, but when I try to permanently delete them, they reappear. The only way I've been able to permanently delete messages is by going online and deleting them in Gmail. I have used Gmail in combination with Mail for years without problems, and I had been using an earlier version of Yosemite without problems. My mail account is a Gmail account set up as IMAP. I have folders/mailboxes that are in Gmail and I have folders/mailboxes that are on my computer, but the messages I move won't stay in either type of mailbox. I tried rebuilding the mail envelop with Onyx which has helped with Mail quirks in the past, but this time it did nothing to solve the problem.
