Iphone 5s have wifi issue after upgraded to ios8.

Iphone 5S have wifi issue afetr upgraded to IOS 8. Does Apple know about this?? Its really frustrating the signal is weak.

Just because you are having a WiFi issue does not necessarily mean the issue is with iOS 8 (correlation does not prove causality). Until you've done proper trouble shooting (or had Apple do it for you if you don't feel equipped), it's almost impossible to say why you are having a problem.

Wifi issues after upgrading from Maverick to Yosemite. No solutions have worked.

I upgraded to Yosemite 10.10.1 from Mavericks. Having wifi issue where I can't connect to my home network. It connects for 5 seconds than I get "no IP address", and then the connection drops. A free local wifi connection does work. Any ideas until this issue is fixed by Apple? My home router worked fine in Maverick. I tried all the online suggestions but nothing has worked. Have not downgraded yet to Maverick but thinking about it.

U410 touch WiFi issues after upgrading to windows 8.1

Hi all,
I have a U410 touch and yesterday I upgraded to windows 8.1
I have major WiFi issues.
connection drops after a few minutes giving limited. troblesshooting resets the adapter saying ''the default gateway is not accessible '' is fixed. But after a few minutes the problem comes back. and it goes like this forever.
I have the Intel Centrino N-2230 and I installed the driver I found here (15.10.3.2).
I''ve tried to uncheck the power management option but the problem is still there.
I also have other issues with the dolby system (I see others have the same problem )and my touch screen is not working.
any help will be greatly appreciated

I am also running into the same issue with my Lenovo U410 and it is really frustrating. I also have Centrino Wireless chip with driver version 15.10.3.2 and I have windows 8.1
I bought the laptop from Costco and was having similar issues. I sent it back to Costco Concierge who apparently replaced the wireless chipset on this laptop but now I am getting this issue.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Iphone 5s Data/baterry issue after upgrade IOS 8.2

I updated my iPhone 5s to iOS 8.2, and now I have the below issues:
Network Signal in an area where i have full signal before now it is weak. I have also lost all Data Connection in an area where i always get 4g
Battery big problem, since I need to charge at least 2 times during the day, and night time with all apps off if I have left 40% battery the phone will go off at 06 a.m.
My WI-FI keeps losing connecting for any apps, this is not an issue with my provider since all other devices work fine.
Phone temperature will go high, enough to fry an egg.
I did install the IOs 8.2 a second time using Itunes SW and did not improve a bit.
What should I do to have this fix? I don't have any more a smart phone or a mobile phone.
Is Apple doing all these SW releases with a proper test?
I'm very good engineer, if required I can help to improve this service.... , well only if this is a way to sell more Iphones 6?

I'm sorry to hear you are having these issues with your iPhone; I know how frustrating that can be. If you continue to have multiple issues with your iPhone, especially if they began shortly after a software update/upgrade and persist after a reinstall, you may want to make sure you have your data backed up, then try restoring your iPhone to factory settings (which will install a fresh copy of the OS) and testing it in that default state before moving your data back. after upgrading to iOS 8.0.2 my iphone 5s is not connecting to the wifi network available !

Apple is still signing for 6.0.1 so you can RESTORE BACK to 6.0.1. Just download the 6.0.1 IPSW for your device and then press the shift key while pressing restore (on windows) which will open a window. Select the downloaded IPSW and you'll be back on 6.0.1. And since Apple is still signing 6.0.1 THIS IS NOT A HACK
OR AN UNAUTHORIZED downgrade. So it DOES NOT void your warranty because Apple is allowing you to downgrade because they've allowed the 6.0.1 window to remain open. I did it for my iPhone and it all worked out fine.

Battery and WiFi issues after upgrade to 1.1.1?

Since my upgrade to 1.1.1, my iPhone has had HORRIBLE battery life. I charged it all night last night and it is only almost noon, and I have not used it much at all, and it is already DEAD. It forced shutdown just now.
Another issue that I have been having is the phones lack of ability to find any wireless networks without first rebooting the phone.
I have done a full restore on the phone as well as a restore without restoring from backup, and the results have been the same.
Has anyone else had these issues?

Ipad 2 Wifi issues after upgrading to ios 7

I live in a small house, 750 sq ft area (30 x 22). Ipad wifi was working fine in all the rooms before upgrading its iOS to 7. After ipad2 iOS was upgraded to iOS 7, wifi now works in the room where the Wifi router is located. But does not receive Wifi signal in any other room. I tired everything that has been suggested in the forum - like changing the router settings (channel, security etc),playing with ipad2's wifi, etc. etc. But to no avail!
Clearly the bug in iOS 7 has caused this issue! How does one log this issue with Apple tech support team so they can rectify this issue in iOS 7 patch? Also, please let me know if I should be trying anything else. Thanks!

I have exactlythe same issue. Have had ever since the upgrade to iOS 7. It's nothing to do with the router. It has to be a bug in iOS 7. Question is, would upgrading to iOS 8 help at all??? Anyone done this.?? I used to love my iPad and it was never out of my hand. Now I just hate it and use my Kindle Fire all the time instead. I used to pick up wiif signals across the street. Now I have to be sitting on a router to connect.

iPhone 4S iPad mini 4 have been upgraded to iOs 8.0.2. Uncheck some music for iPhone in iTunes and synch never completes. Space utilized is now very different numbers in iTunes and Settings, General, About. I have done a hard reset on both devices.

Hi, after 8.0.1 & 8.0.2 updates we had these same issues on our iPads & 5s&c iPhones..
Yesterday I called Apple Corp, got thro' to Customer Relations & then a Senior Engineer.. After trying all the usual stuff he downloaded my Logs etc..

Reconnecting Printer to Wifi - issues after upgrading

I've tried the WPS button method as well as connecting via my MacBook Pro - both of which had worked before upgrading my modem. Now I am unable to connect to the newly upgraded wifi. Works fine for computer and phone - just not the printer (Dell v515w). Please help!

Make sure you have not set the SSID of the new wireless gateway to a custom SSID(in the case that it's the same as the old).
Make sure you are manually inputting the new password when setting up your printer to the network. Also ensure you are capitalizing when needed.
What was the model of the old gateway and what is the model of the new one you received?

Last night i upgraded to 8.0.2 and in the upgrade they didn't mention anything about the battery performance improvement. Everything else was answered except that. I upgraded and still it's the same with battery. battery is dying very fast. Is there anyone listening in apple? I've seen number of posts regarding the same and it wasn't addressed in the new update.

Have few issues after upgrading to iOS 8
- Phone hangs every few hours, reboots automatically
- Bluetooth does not work properly (call does not get disconnected or even if disconnected on phone, the car bluetooth shows call is on)
- Searching for contacts is a problem
- Apps hang (especially facebook)
Any way to go back to iOS 7 ?

No way to come back to iOS 7 ...
But did you tried to reset all settings (general -> reset -> all settings) ?
For me iOS 8 was a mess on a 5S, especially car Bluetooth, and all works now fine after resetting the settings (all settings, not only network settings).

an intranet portal with Epicentric and Vignette used as additional
products.
However, some voices say that 6.1 has stability issues. Well, these
statements are rumours and lack any proof or even anecdotal evidence I
have heard of, and therefore it is very difficult to respond
appropriately.
Having said this, my questions are:
- Did any of you have stability issues after upgrading from 5 to 6.1
on Solaris?
- If yes, what were they and how did you solve them (e.g. upgrade to
SP 5)?
- In 1-2 sentences, what is the context of the application?
My goal is to present a evidence that the romoured stability issues
don't exist or/and a list of meastures to avoid/solve them, if any.

Normally proving that rumors are true is a responcibility of
rumors suppliers. Reverse does sound to me like a joke.

Everything is slowed down after upgrading to ios8 ?

I have various problems after upgrading to IOS8 with mij Ipad2. Pages has for example become very slow. I can say that it has in fact become unusable: I get typing errors caused by the slowness.
Another complaint is that the keyboard all the time covers the text.
Further I am using Icloud drive for Pages, but I want to change that. When I change this in the system, then I lose all my documents! ( but if I close WIFI then I keep the documents: I donot understand).
I would like to know if Apple reads these posts? And is there a simple possibilty to downgrade ?

Apple provides NO means or provision to downgrade iDevices to a previously installed iOS version.
There are unsupported methods to do so, but these involves doing things to your Apple iDevice that is NOT permitted by Apple and Apple has taken steps to make sure there are consequences, like making your iPad completely inoperable, by using unauthorized, unsupported and unofficial means to circumvent the normal,default operation of their mobile devices.
To use these methods to try and fix your Apple iDevice means, Apple is going to punish you for doing so, by making sure your iDevice no longer functions.

I am facing wifi and mobile 2G signal issue after upgrading to IOS 6 from IOS 5 in IPhone 3GS. The mobile carrier signal as well as WIFI suddenly drops zero and are then restored automatically. Sometimes i cannot conenct to WIFI even standing infront of WIFI router. Please help, restoring setting even didn't helped.

Update: my phone's connecting to the WiFi again. I don't know what did the trick. I did nothing since reinstalling the software. It hadn't worked then, it is now. I tried connecting to my dad's phone's hotspot( he uses a Moto G), and it worked. I then tried connecting to the WiFi at a friend's house, and when I came back home, my phone was able to connect to my WiFi! Is it of any significance that my friend's router doesn't require a password? My issue has been resolved( for now; I hope I'm not counting my chickens before they've hatched). For anyone facing a similar issue, I suggest you try everything I did:
1. Turn your router off for a minimum of 30 seconds, turn it back on and try connecting.
2. Click on the WiFi network you are connected to, scroll to the bottom, tap "Renew Lease".
3. Do a soft and hard reset.
4. Reset network settings.
5. Back your data up, erase all content from settings menu, restore from backup.
6. Reinstall your software( put it in recovery mode).
I am not sure which of the above worked for me. Make sure you try everything. If none of the above works, take it to a genius bar or an authorised service provider. Good luck! :)
