My iphone 5s do not turn on, i tried to turn on connecting the charger and then power on but not work that way. any suggestion?

Sorry to hear that your iPhone is not powering on. If you are not getting it to power on from the wall charger, I would try another one if one is available or you can try your computer. Normally one would do a reset, however without the lock button, which is the sleep/wake button, you cannot do a reset. You could always wait until the battery dies to see if it will start when plugged in, but the sleep/wake button is an integral part of the phone and needs to work to do a number of functions. I suggest that you make an appointment at the Genius Bar to get it fixed.

I currently have your iPhone 3GS which I received approximately 18 months ago. However, after updating the OS Software the device has decided to not power on. After speaking to your Apple Support Centre, they booked me an appointment at Apple Bentall Centre, Kingston, London, UK.
My device was looked at by a representative named Vanessa Baldwin who claimed that the device would not power on and that seeing as it is out of warranty, the only option I had was to replace it costing £139. I then asked to speak to the Store Manager Leigh Baigent, who reiterated Vanessa Baldwin's suggestion. He also added that the device would not power on due to a fault on the motherboard and had nothing to do with the battery. I proceeded to explain to your staff that I would expect a £400 iPhone to last longer than 18 months and that under The Sale of Goods Act 1979, a retailer is responsible for the items they sell for up to six years in England and Wales regardless of warranty. Your staff expressed a blank look towards me as if I spoke a foreign language and dismissed my claims.
I am therefore making formal contact with Apple directly to sort the matter.
Any help would be appreciated, please do not give me a story about warranty / insurance guidelines

Try an iPhone reset first which is done by pressing and holding the home button and the sleep/wake or on/off button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo and then release. This is similar to a computer restart.
Try powering the iPhone off again after doing so.

I had this same problem about a year ago. It is most likely because debris has been caught in the cable connector. Get a cotton bud or something soft so that you don't cause any damage, and gently clean the inside of the dock connector of your phone. Do not use any liquids. Hope this helps.

IPhone Will Not Power Off or Go Into Silent Mode

Yesterday I discovered that I had my phone switch flipped to Silent Mode, and my phone was still making the General Sounds and Still Ringing. No matter what I do I can't get it to Vibrate instead of ring.
Also it will not power off, no matter how long I hold the button nothing happens, it wont even lock. I tried performing a hard rest by holding the Home Key & Power Button, but instead of reseting the Voice Control pops up and my iPod starts playing.
Any Help Is Greatly Appreciated ♥

- Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.

I have the similar problem. My thread is Iphone 3gs does not start - dead.
I tired all the following and does not work. May be one of them will work for you.
Its been one year i had it. The phone was running out of battery so i kept it on the wall charger. As usual took the phone and tired to use it - NO response.
Tried the following :
Hard reset (pressing the home and power button for 10+ seconds)
Recovery mode. (connected to computer, press the home button and connected the USB Cable).
DFU mode (pressed power and home button while connected to the USB Cable)
Tried starting with an external battery.
Tried resetting the SIM Card.
Nothing works. the screen is blank, the computer + iTunes does not recognize it. I hope one of the solutions work for you. Apple gives 12 months warranty. so just take it to Apple store and they may give you a new phone. My phone is 13 months old so i have to buy a new phone.

If there is no video or if the screen remains black, verify that the device has enough charge to turn on:
If you are using an iPad, ensure that it's connected to the USB Power Adapter supplied with the device.
Let it charge for at least twenty minutes, then see if it starts normally.
If there is no image on the screen, press the Sleep/Wake button to attempt to wake the device.
If the screen displays a red battery icon, continue charging the device until the battery is fully charged. Learn more about charging iPhone and iPod touch, or iPad.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, or the if the screen remains black or shows a persistent Apple logo, try restoring with iTunes:
Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.
If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane. Learn more aboutrestoring iOS software.
If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try to force the device into recovery mode, and then restore it.

I just got my Apple Apple Iphone 5 32gb Verizon, Oct 5th 2012. I am one the first customer to recieve this phone, from Verizon Wireless. I have my old Apple iphone 4, I did a Backup of stuff on my Iphone 4, I tried restore my back up from iphone $, on my new Iphone 5, it finshed! I looked at Iphone 5, The restore was finshed, all my stuff was transfered, Great! This phone run faster than my old iphone 4.
Okay, I called Verizon to activate the , on the Verizon Wireless network. So, I made call on The Verizon Wireless network, and my phone crashed!! blanked screen! MAC OS 6 crashed! So ! Paniced! The phone went dead! Until I reset the phone pressing the power buttun. I had restore MAC os6 over again. Right I had take this off the Verizon Network, restore access to my old Apple Iphone 4. Right now I have restored the MAc os6 back on my Iphone, works, but the can't call anywhere, it is set airplane mode. Today! I tried dial 611, this is a Ipod iphone5 32gb for mow. I need to fix, reporgram? or what? I need help!!!

Hi there i have had my Iphone 4 for about 8 months now. My battery was on low all day today and when i got home it was completely dead. I just plugged it in to charge but nothing is happening? it has been on charge now for about 4 minutes but it is still dead.

It didn't crash, you fully depleted the battery. Standard "remedy" for this is to let it charge for at least 30 minutes (this time can vary as you've discovered) and reset it while it is still connected to power.
