IPhone 5s Password and iPad App Question

Hello,
I was interested in purchasing my first smartphone and was thinking of getting the iPhone 5s. But I have a few questions I would like to ask before making a decision. Can you run an application (from iTunes) that is for an iPad and run it on an iPhone if the IOS version requirement is high enough? I am hoping I can run the "MyTunesProHD" App which requires IOS 4 or higher. It says that it is compatible with the iPad. But I would like to know if it is also compatible with the iPhone since it is higher than IOS 4.
My next question is concerning the Fingerprint Touch ID feature with the iPhone 5s. Does it have the option of using a standard password like the older iPhones? Or is it Fingerprint Touch ID only? If it is Fingerprint only I will choose a different phone (currently considering the iPhone 5 and the Samsung Galaxy S4 as an alternative). Personally I don't like the idea of using my fingerprint.

Hi Joshua,
The MyTunes Pro app in the iTunes app store shows that it is compatible with both the iPad and the iPhone. So, if the developer has made it compatible with iOS7, then you would be able to use the app you have already purchased for both devices.
You do not have to use the fingerprint security if you don't want to:

You should be able to hide them, it's just that the 'x' is invisible (I assume that it's a bug with the current version of iTunes) - click on the app's top left corner where the 'x' should be, and it should become hidden.

If you are willing to wait, Apple - OS X Mountain Lion - Inspired by iPad. Made for the Mac explains that a "Reminders" application will be included in the next release of OS X.

From a Catherine to Katherine -- Had the exact same problem!! I had to enable Java twice - both in Safari and then on the MacBookAir itself.

thanks but exactly how do I do this. I tried setting the new macair up using migration assistant but for some reason not everything has come through. I bought a thunderbolt cable to improve the transfer rate.
Now my question is how do I transfer the iTunes folder. I have authorised the new macair for iTunes and am within the 5 computer limit.

The Notes app does not sync between iPhone 6 plus and iPad Air. These used to sync before when I had an iPhone 4. I have been trying to troubleshoot this for about an hour now, so all the basics such as deciding on a default Notes account, to turning on and off iCloud functions for both devices, as well as signing out of of my apple account on both devices, then back in. Nothing seems to be working - is this a fault in the current iOs?? It's driving me nuts.

I believe because you migrated from a Nokia to an iPhone you need to register the Bn phone number with your Apple ID so it can be used for iMessage. The Pn number seems to be the only one registered

It appears like there is maintenance or something affecting the iTunes server today. I recommend giving it a few hours and trying again. It shouldn't take that long to restore but from what I hear, there is definitely something going on with the iTunes server today.

I think the password it asked is the one that you used to encrypt iPhone backup.

If you know the Username or the Email that you used for your BlackBerry ID then you can reset your password by following this KB :
KB26361 : How to change or reset a BlackBerry ID password.
But if you're unable to access or have used a email which you don't have any access then you can create a new BlackBerry ID by following this KB :
KB26694 : How to change the BlackBerry ID on a BlackBerry PlayBook tablet or BlackBerry smartphone
But if you follow this KB be sure to do a backup of your device .

Igpf you have not made a recent backup of your data and have synced to the computer before, make sure and create one before restoring.

IPhone and iPad app compatibility

I currently own an iPhone 4. I am planning on purchasing an iPad 2. If I purchase an app on my iPhone, will I have to pay again for the iPad version of the same app? For example, the app Where's My Water? has the plus symbol next to the price. Does that mean I would be able to download the app on my iPad 2 at no charge if I already paid for it on my iPhone?

On the iPad 2 if you use the same Apple id and password you used to download the app to your iPhone 4 you do not need to pay again.
