IPhone 5s randomy typing and screen freezing

My iPhone 5s has recently started randomly typing letters when I'm texting or on facebook. It also takes random photo's when in camera mode. And the screen just freezes. This doesn't happen all the time but can happen regularly. Has anyone else experienced this kind of thing, and any recommendations to fix it?

If you have changed the battery by yourself, there has probably been a hardware problem putting the phone back together again after that.
But Apple will not check your phone if you did open the device by yourself.

Lagging and Screen Freezing After iOS 4 Update

Hey all. I have the iPhone 3GS and ever since I updated the software to iOS 4, my iPhone has been lagging and freezing. The lag is significant. For example, I'll start typing something using the keyboard and the letters won't show up for another 5 seconds after I have tapped them (sometimes even longer, like 15 seconds because the screen temporarily freezes). My phone has also frozen before. Today, it froze for the third time in about a month. Last night, while charging and while I was watching videos on YouTube, the screen froze completely and I was unable to lock the screen, go Home, or turn off the phone to restart it. I had to unplug it from its charger and let the battery burn out. Has anyone else had the same problem? How do I fix it? Should I take it to an AT&T store or Apple Store? I would really appreciate your help. Thank you.

I also have the iPhone 3G and since I updated the software to IS0 4, my iPhone has also been lagging but not freezing as in your case. I agree that the lag is significant as it wasn't before the update. When I press the home to slide to open the phone and enter my pin number it takes about an extra 5 to 15 secs for the 4 satrs to show up and then another 10 sec for it to go to the home screen. When sending SMS it takes about the same time as you are experiencing with the 5 seconds gap between typing and seeing it on the screen and the send bar only appears as it gets to end of sending the message so never too sure if it is being sent or not until the bar appears at the last 5 secs at end of sending. It also lags when you open a SMS takes about another 10 - 15 secs before it opens nd the list just goes on. Not sure if other users are having the same problems or if APPLE are aware since the iOS 4 update of these issues. If anyone knows how to get in touch with APPLE to make them aware of these problems and that a fix is needed can you let us know? Thank you!!!

After updating software two months ago my email font was stuck in large and couldn't get it to change. posted issue on forum, called apple support, went to genius bar, went to 1 to 1 and NO ONE could figure it out. HT201407 iPhone 3GS randomly dying and camera freezes on shutter screen

I have an unlocked iPhone 3GS. When I got it, it worked fine but anoint a month after, the battery started dying randomly. At first or wasn't that big of a problem because it would die at 10-20% but now it's dying at 90-95%. Any way to fix?! And also my camera has started freezing on the shutter screen and will not work. Any way to fix that also?!

IPhone defaulting back to home screen, freezing and in a loop of rebooting/asking for passcode

iPhone 4, just over a month old, about 2 weeks into use has been playing up since.... I'm certain the problem is the same, but it manifests in different ways, usually daily. If unused for a period (as in an hour or two), the iPhone (when pressing the home button) goes to the black reboot screen, then asks for passcode, back to reboot, passcode and into an interminable loop.
Attempting to launch applications, or the internet, will just revert back to the home screen (as if the home button is pressed), or often, the home button will not work at all.
The onyl way of rectifying this is to shut off or - as this is sometimes not possible - screen and all buttons unresponsive - rebooting (holding home button & one of button)
I'm hoping it's a simple case of reinstalling something, or perhaps reverting to factory settings, but wonder if anyone else has experienced anything similar.

User and Screen freezing and/or corruption with screen graphics

I am using a mid-2007 Intel iMac, 20" screen. When logging into and out of a particular User, the screen keeps freezing and/or filling in with streaks. It also freezes completely or gets a Kernel Panic. Anyone know how to read these things? here is the latest Kernel Panic - can anyone help me to solve this???

I solved this myself by removing all desktop files from the user account that was causing this, and placing them in to the documents folder instead. I think the computer couldn't keep-up with imaging the screen and while dealing with it's folder operations every time I logged into or out of this user. By clearing the desktop, I have had no more problems.

IPhone 4 hangs up and screen gets blue

My 6 month old iphone 4 always hangs up or the screen gets blue after using a few minutes. It can only restarting by holding power and home button for 10 seconds. Also the speaker doesn't work.... Thaere is no jailbreak on it, it has never been wet and never falling down or something else..... what to do ?

i brought not so recently (about 6 months ago) an iPhone 4 16 gb neverlocked that seemed pretty ok,and a few months ago it started having problems,sometimes it turned off by itself and i needed to boot it to start the phone.Now i have the problem that when i turn it on ,it won't run normally more then 3 hours and after it screen dies,image becomes full with lines and fuzzy ,and after 5 seconds it turns off again,but now i can't even boot it because it doesn't turn on only the other day maybe.

Help!! iPhone 4 Voice Control and screen lock

Hi. I have an iPhone 4 and this morning out of the blue, the Voice Control started coming on. It doesn't matter what I am doing. Also, the screen keeps locking up. Any screen I am on. I do not use ear buds and it hasn’t been wet. Please help

I tried the reset and it did not work. What happens is I will go to an app. (Like now I am in the text messaging app). I am stuck here. I can reply, create a message, and maneuver through the texting screens, but I am stuck in text messaging until I turn it off... Then, when I restart and go to any other app, I get the same thing.
Then there is the voice command. The thing that allows you to speak a command, such as call office, or facetime... It pops up randomly.
All of this started this morning. I haven't dropped it, gotten it wet, or anything. I don't understand.

IPhone 5 - Water Damage and Screen Damage

I dropped my iPhone 5 December 2013, managed to deal with it upto the end of January when I went to a party and accidentally knocked it into a drunken friends sick. I dried phone best I could as I had no rice nearby so just was a towel I used. The phone turned on and off okay however was tacky with buttons on the screen, it was bad calibration. The phone worked for 2 weeks then started having bad calibration issues again and then I got lines down the screen multicoloured so by this I'm assuming that it's water damaged. The screen is completely smashed and chipped on the rear corner and front corner. I'm just wondering if anyone knows a price it would be for a replacement at the Genius Bar (Liverpool, UK). All I get on emails, chat and phone is we'll look when you come in and after inspection the most it can be is £209 which I'm hoping I don't have to pay. I'm needing an approximate price not the maximum they charge for any inspection. Does anyone know the criteria for it to ever be £209 or anybody had this experience before? I have no idea what to take in with me money wise and no idea what they will have to do. Also regarding the SIM card, can that get damaged in anyway? And will my contract company (O2) send me a new one for free of charge if it's rusty broke or whatever?
My iPhone 5 is in warranty, I dropped it last year and paid £170 to get a replacement but apparently prices have changed. My warranty runs out the end of April 2014/beginning of June 2014.

Fix for vertical lines and screen freeze on 2008 iMac after Yosemite upgrade?

Mavericks was running slow with iPhoto. Did the Yosemite upgrade. Vertical lines on screen before everything freezes except mouse. Mouse continues to respond but nothing else, so forced to power off. Tried a revert to Mavericks but that seemed to tick it off (made things worse). Read 3 year old threads that graphics drivers may be at fault, but not sure how to remedy that. Any ideas?
