IPhone 5s rfresh Circle Keeps Turning
Hi,
I just bought a brand new 5s and when I log into it the little circle on the upper end of the screen keeps turning and turning as if it is looking for something.
I have two concerns:
1) battery consumption,
2) is there a software inside that tries to connect to the internet.
To check for the second one I have deleted all the apps that I uploaded. I have turned WiFi off. And it still does the same thing.
Before logging in, the wheel is not displayed or turning.
I have asked around and nobody else seems to be having this issue.
Is this normal? And if not, what should I check?

Hod down the home and sleep button at the same time until the screen goes black and the apple log appears. Reseting this way, which causes no data loss (allegedly), will take care of the problem.

YES! This is really killing me and you're the only one to bring it up in discussions! I constantly have to turn it off and on to get it back to norm, and this other reply about clean wiping in/resetting it is just too much of a pain in the @#*. I don't have the apple warranty, but do have verizon as a carrier with insurance. I wonder if they'll have a clue as to what to do, or just default to the idiocy that is the norm. If you are having issues with your iPhone's volume setting not staying the way it should, you may want to try some things to troubleshoot.
First, quit all running applications and test again -
Force an app to close in iOS
Next, I would try restarting and if needed resetting the iPhone -
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If the issue is still present, you may want to restore the iPhone as a new device -

Try to restore your iOS device two more times while connected with a cable, computer, and network you know are good. Also, confirm your security software and settings are allowing communication between your device and update servers. -
IPhone 4S latest software keeps turning off
My iPhone 4S was overheating a week or so ago, I was holding it and it got awfully hot so I put it down and left it for a few hours.
A day ago, it turned itself off out of nowhere, I turned it back on and when I went to use it, it would keep turning off and on and freezing,
Finally today it wont turn on, it gets to the start up part (black with white apple logo) and freezes and wont get any further.

Thanks but all ready tried that.
I took it to apple and its a problem with the latest software update, it wouldn't even let apple run a diagnostics.. It fried the whole thing lol. Caused from the battery so be sure to check your battery guys :) -
How do I fix my iPhone 4 that's keeps turning off and on
My phone keeps turning off and on. It will show the boot logo and it will dim like its going to the lock screen, but then it will show the loading wheel when turning off. Then the process repeats. I trued restoring but in recovery mode its gets error 21 at the step of getting iPhone ready to restore. Then I tried to do it in DFU mode and it gets stuck in waiting for IPhone. I have tried changing cables that hasn't really worked and I tried updating everything. Please help!!!!!!
Sounds like you have a hardware problem. Take it to an Apple Store for evaluation.

Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIs and corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.

Hey, I understand how ****** off you must be at getting bounced around . It most likely has something to do with some port being blocked by your internet service provider or on your router. http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3297 lists ports 80, 443, 3689, 5297, 5298, 5353, 8000-8999, and 42000-42999 as ports that need to be open for you to connect to the itunes store. I would recommed contacting your isp and making sure that they are not blocking anything (in a nice unaccusing way, you never know, it might not be their fault), or if they can help you determine if your router is the cause. Before you do that you could also make an appointent with the genius bar at your apple retail store to make sure you can connect to the itunes store on their network, although if you can connect to wifi through safari, it probably is not related to the wifi hardware of your device.
As last ditch efforts, I would try updating your device http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4623 (I recommend backing-up your device http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766 and any itunes purchases http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1848 just to be sure). If that doesn't work, I would restore it and set it up as a new device through itunes on a computer, that will wipe out any problem software and install the operating system as new, you can then test it to see if the issue was related to any software you had on it.

The "fix" is to get the phone repaired. There's no magic solution for a broken phone.
Bring your phone ant $149 to Apple for an out of warranty replacement, or find a 3rd party repair shop near you. -
Two iPhones on same MobileMe account but one keeps turning a calendar on.
Hello. I have two iPhones that I have connected to one MobileMe account. We do that so certain calendars, notes, etc will sync. I have a certain set of calendars turned on on one of them and a different set on the other. I made a new calendar for bills and one for other reminders that we both don't need. Turned them on on one and off on the other. On the one which they are turned off, one of them keeps turning back on after it is switched off. I have not been able to determine how long it takes but it eventually does turn on because the next time the reminders are supposed to come up it is definitely on there. Any idea why this might be?
But could I at least use the Find My Iphone app on the second Iphone if I just leave all the other Icloud options off? If I activate Find My Iphone on the second phone, will it just show two Iphones in the menu when I search for the Iphone on my Mac, or do I need to set up a second Icloud account for the second phone?

I have the new IPad and can't connect via bluetooth to any of my apple devices (IPhone 4s and appleTV) neither from my new IPhone 4s. When I turn the Bluetooth on, both devices keep in searching mode... I don't know what to do now... Please help... I can't pair any device because they can't find whitin themselves.

I bought my iPhone 4S recently. When I try to turn off my iPhone it keeps turning back on. The only times it stays turned off is when I have it plugged into a charger. I have tried holding the sleep/wake button and sliding the shut off tab and also holding the home button & sleep/wake button at the same time while unplugged from the charger; on both occasions it has turned back on without me doing anything. I would just like to know what is happening and also if they're is a solution for it.
