Iphone 5s Screen angle viewing (Photos)

This is my problem, and as you can see, apple cant.
Anyone have this? color change it different angles.

With a red image, the bottom right view angle the image have a very color distorcing.
anyone have this problem? the apple says that is a normal thing

IPhone locked up while viewing photo?

The other day my wife was looking at pics in her Camera Roll on her week 43 iPhone 3GS, when it just totally locked up. There was a picture on the screen, but no response to any touch input on the screen OR on any buttons whatsoever. Even tried powering off the phone by holding the sleep/power button - nothing. Stuff like this makes me wish I could yank the battery out.
Anyway, I tried connecting it to the computer, and at first nothing happened. Device didn't show up on the computer or in iTunes, and that same photo was still on the phone's display. Finally after awhile the screen went blank, and the Apple logo appeared, and then the regular lock screen came up and it was fine. I never saw the Charging lock screen or had any indication that the phone was charging while it was connected.
Anyone know what happened or what might have caused this?

The iPhone is a computer so it could have been anything. When your iPhone doesn't act right, slow, locks up, hesitates, programs close unexpectedly, etc., a reset usually solves the problem...
press the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
Note that this is not the same as a Restart and you may need to hold the buttons longer (to see the Apple logo) in some cases.

Viewing photos on TV

I've purchased the Universal Dock and the component video cable to hook my iPhone up to my home entertainment system. I can watch video podcasts and TV shows from my iPhone, but I cannot view photo slide shows. What am I doing wrong? All the literature says I should be able to do this. Is there a setting I need to change? Please help!

On my TV I have to change the channel on the TV set (not the digital cable converter box) to a different channel (most sets are usually channel 2 or 3) so as to get the video feed from the iPhone to stream to the TV. As for photos I believe the only way to see them on a TV is by using the product Apple TV sold though this website.

I just purchased an iPhone 6 and the setup smooth but one thing..photo stream. I can take pictures and they go in the stream and I can view from my other iOS devices but I cannot view photos taken with other devices on the iPhone 6. All use the same iCloud ID.

Try these steps first if the Photo Stream on one of your PCs is not updating:
you can't connect to the Internet, iCloud Photos will not be able to send or receive updates to My Photo Stream. If necessary, troubleshoot your Internet connection on your PC, Mac, or iOS devices.
Open the iCloud Control Panel and make sure that you're signed in to the same iCloud account that you're using on your other supported devices.
In Windows 8.1, go to the Start screen, click the down arrow in the lower-left corner, then click the iCloud app.
In Windows 8, go to the Start screen, and click the iCloud tile.
In Windows 7, choose Start menu > All Programs > iCloud > iCloud.
Make sure that iCloud Photos or Photo Stream is turned on in the iCloud Control Panel. Click the Options button and make sure that My Photo Stream is turned on.
Close and reopen the iCloud Control Panel.
Restart your computer. This may sound simple, but it does reinitialize your network and application settings and can frequently resolve issues.

No in order to backup to iTunes, you would need to unlock your phone.
In order to import pics to your computer you would need to unlock your phone.

WOOHOO!!! i finaly fixed the problem. Here is what to do:
Chances are if you did the same thing as me you either have
A) No album names at all for ALL your songs in your library
or
B) Have the same name for every album for ALL your songs in your library.
Here is how to fix it (yah it will take a little work but its worth getting your iPod functioning properly).
Unless you dont want to have to go and actualy set al lthe album names for every song here is what you can do:
Go through to iTunes and arange your songs by Artist name. Click the top song for your first artist, hold Shift and click the last song for that same artist (to multi select all the songs for the artist) go into get info and check the Album box. Copy the name of the artist to the Album box and hit ok.
Now when u update your ipod and go into ur Artists section the actual Artist name should show up instead of the song names.
For some reason having the same album name for all your songs messes up the organization of the iPod.
Hope this helps anyone else that is having the same problem

Unknown photos randomly show on iPhone 4 screen

yesterday I was talking (w/ earbuds) on my iPhone 4 and a (shocking) photo randomly flashed on the screen. It wasn't a photo of mine, it didn't save to camera roll or photo stream. I don't share photos with anyone. It wasn't from a web page that the phone had browsed. It's a photo that has nothing to do with me or websites I've browsed or friends would send, etc. I've not found anything discussed on the web other than a mention of possible malware? Also, the phone hasn't been synched with a computer for months and that kind of picture wouldn't have been on the computer anyway. Any ideas? (and yes, I will be upgrading to new phone soon)

There is a debate going on whether iphone can get malware. As it is an OS i would think its possible.
Not really heard of any Malware on iphones but that doesn't mean there isn't or hasn't been.
Have you contacted Apple about this?
Was this photo from a pop up from a web page?
So the photo was obviously **** that has just appeared.
Where on your phone was it saved? Icloud or phone memory?

Is it possible to view photos on a computer screen immediately after while I'm shooting? I have the cord to attach camera to laptop, but have not been able to view until I do a download. My camera is a Rebel XT 350D.

It is possible. I do it at every shoot I do that involves big groups because the bigger screen (17" laptop) shows whether everyone is in a good pose.
It is called "tethered capture". I use Adobe Light Room 5. Attach a USB cable, start LR and select Tethered Capture. From there it is automatic and everything the camera sees, your laptop does. This method, which may not be the only way, also saves a copy to my laptop.
There are also powered USB cables which allow you to move the laptop up to 70 feet away. If that was needed of course but active USB cable are good for shorter distances because they are more error free and very fast.
BTW, LR5 is a pretty nice post processing, professional level, program for the rest of your image requirements.

How can you shrink the size of an upright picture to make it smaller without losing any of the detail in it??? At the moment, if I view them on my laptop, landscape photos fill the screen, but portrait photos only show the middle part.

Homestly haven't a clue what's going on there.
Try trash the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from the HD/Users/ Your Name / library / preferences folder.
(On 10.7: Hold the option (or alt) key while clicking on the Go menu in Finder to access the User Library)
(Remember you'll need to reset your User options afterwards. These include minor settings like the window colour and so on. Note: If you've moved your library you'll need to point iPhoto at it again.)
What's the plist file?
For new users: Every application on your Mac has an accompanying plist file. It records certain User choices. For instance, in your favourite Word Processor it remembers your choice of Default Font, on your Web Browser is remembers things like your choice of Home Page. It even recalls what windows you had open last if your app allows you to pick up from where you left off last. The iPhoto plist file remembers things like the location of the Library, your choice of background colour, whether you are running a Referenced or Managed Library, what preferences you have for autosplitting events and so on. Trashing the plist file forces the app to generate a new one on the next launch, and this restores things to the Factory Defaults. Hence, if you've changed any of these things you'll need to reset them. If you haven't, then no bother. Trashing the plist file is Mac troubleshooting 101.

IPod displaying black screen when I want to view photos

here's the thing I wasn't able to find a solution yet. I synced some photo album from iPhoto to iPod nano 4gb (3rd gen). When navigating to photos with nano I see the album and inside the photos thumbnails but when I enter into the photo full screen mode to view photo nano just displays a black screen... no photo ...
Am I doing something wrong?

Having just updated to the latest system 6.0 (10A403) Everytime when I connect my Iphone to my Mac and open iphoto with the phone connected, a warning window keeps popping up. Showing "Photos in the Camera Roll on "iPhone 4S" cannot be viewed or imported because the iPhone is locked with a passcode."
But it is not locked. The rest of the synch in iTunes seems to work fine but iPhoto says that there are no photos for importing, when thjere are many. Any assistance most appreciated. thanks

Reenable the password and then disable it. The message should no longer appear.

If you have deleted all the photos from your iPhone you can't get them back. The only place they might exist is if you backed them up to iPhoto if you have a Mac. If you have iCloud and Photo Steam enabled, then the last 100 photos would be saved in your Photo Stream.
