Iphone 5s (UK) If bought now "dispached: october". When, exactly?
I'm going to order an iPhone 5s in a few hours. It says it will be dispached in October (in the UK). When, exactly though? I need it ASAP
How on earth would we fellow users know the answer to that? Do you know how silly you look asking that question on a user to user technical support forum?

The Apple ID and Password that was Originally used to Activate the iDevice is required.
If you cannot get this information from the seller
Removing a device from a previous owner’s account
You need to return the Device for a refund, as you will not be able to re-activate it. -
i bought some ringtones on my iPhone, later on i sync my iphone to my old computer now i have a new mac pro desktop and i only have 2 ringtones on my phone but not the rest of them how can i get them back without having to pay for them again?
If you bought them on your iPad then you will need to connect your iPad to your computer's iTunes and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases to copy them over to the Tones part of your computer's iTunes library and you can then sync them to your iPhone - ringtones are a one-time only download, so you won't be able to redownload them directly on your phone.

I pre-ordered an iPhone 6 Plus and the delivery date now says October 14th. The point of the pre-order is to get it on release day (or shortly thereafter). Can I go to a Verizon store to pick up my new phone on release day?

I'm in the same situation. I was up trying to get on the Verizon page at 11:55, kept getting the ECPD error. When finally got through, the Silver Iphone Plus 64 showed arrival of 9-19. At every step of the process, it seemed that I was ordering a phone that would arrive on day1. At no point did it say this was an estimate. At no point did it say it might change. In a big yellow box, it said "9-19". Ordered it, then got confirmation email stating it should arrive at 9-19. Seems like all should be good, right? Order site said 9-19, I've got a confirmation email saying 9-19, done and done.
Then I check the website, and suddenly it changed to 10-14?!?!?!? I feel like this was a bait and switch. I was able to pickup an iphone5 in a local store on launch day, and would not have locked myself into a preorder through Verizon if I had known this would happen!
So, that leads back to the original questions. Lets assume I walk into a Verizon store on 9-19, and there is an available iphone6 plus just sitting there, can I either get that phone as fulfillment of my pre-order. Or, cancel my pre-order and buy that phone right then and there?

It's asking you for my apple id password. not going to give that out, sorry.
However I did try this projector on my mother in laws iphone 4 and on my old iphone 3. ipico software isn't needed. plug and play any video through standard movie player or camera saved video.
I tried on my girls iphone 5 with the adapter. The ipico software and projector doesn't work on this phone.
Hope this helped you. Better to buy a used iphone 3 or 4 and use it for video storage.
I also found that the battery on these projectors are a joke (30-60mins max). I rigged a longer lasting battery on the outside and keep it plugged in while using. This doesn't charge the phone though so I replaced the battery in the old iphone 3 and now get at least a full length movie from it. Great in bed projected onto the ceiling.

blackyam...thank you for the ipico software. When I try to authorize my computer for it it says that I need to fill in the password for *******@yahoo.com. I can't seem to get it to work with my email and password. Do you know anything about this or do you know *******@yahoo.com's password?thx, Chris

i had bought iphone 4 from singapore and now i am relocated to india.....there is some hardware problem in the phone due to which i m nt able to use it.....how do i give the phone for repair and in which country?
The warranty is not international and only available in the Country of purchase .If the iPhone is out of warranty Apple or their Agents will also only give service in the country of original purchase.
So if you want Apple help you will have to return it to Singapore or find a 3rd party to repair it if they can in India as long as it is out of warranty and you understand that Apple would never help with that device in future if it has been opened by a 3rd party -
I have iPhone 4 which i bought from Bahrain and it was working there just fine. However, now I'm in India but my phone is not supporting any SIM. What can I do please suggest guys? Thanks in advance
Sounds like your iPhone is locked to the wireless carrier you used
in Bahrain. Contact that wireless carrier to see if they offer unlocking
and if you qualify. Only the carrier to which the iPhone is locked
can unlock it.
What does it say when you look at Settings=>General=>Carrier?
Remember that the warranty is not international. You will have to
return the iPhone to Bahrain for repair/replacement if it needs service. -

Only the carrier to which the phone is locked can authorize an unlock. None of the Japanese carriers will do that. Sell the phone and buy one that works in Brazil. -

The friend who sold it to you needed to clear his Apple ID off the phone before he sold it to you. Of course if it wasn't his phone in the first place then he could not do so. He is your friend but you don't know where he is?
There is nothing that will help you short of getting the password for the Apple ID from your friend. If you cannot obtain that there is no workaround. -
i have bought my iphone 5 from UK and now residing in USA. Although my carrier (Ultra Mobile) provides 4G service i only get 3G speed. Also icon "3G" appears on top part of my screen. My model is MD297B/A. Pls suggest to enable 4G on my phone
It is more than likely the inability of the UK phone to support the US phone bands. You will probably be stuck with 3G and will never be able to get LTE. Also, your warranty is only good in the UK. You might be better of to try and sell that device to someone in the UK and purchase a phone in the US that you can get full service with.

It's obviously more than a year old and there's no added warrantee...To the best of my recollection, the first-generation iPhone, if that is truly what you have, was never released in Australia, so no, you probably cannot get any service from Apple for that iPhone. You may wish to confirm what model of iPhone you really do have using this information:

After upgrading to IOS 7, I can only transfer songs to my iPhone 5 that I bought on iTunes. I cannot transfer songs I burned from CD. When I drag them to my phone in iTunes, my phone appears to be updating, but the songs don't show up there.
I'm using IOS 7.1.2 and iTunes 11.3.0.54. WIndows 7.

Un-sync all your music to remove it from the device, then restart (hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go). Now re-sync your music. -
Hi guys.Got a problem with my iPhone 5. I bought it in a shop 4 month ago. After I got a visitor with iOS 7 on his phone he would like to charge his phone with my Laptop and cable.But when he plugged it in it showed a message wich says: " This cable or accessory is not certified and may not work reliably with this phone".
How is this possible? I then phoned the shop and told them my problem. When I gave them the details I also found out that the imei No. in the iPhone is the same as on the original box. But the the Serial numbers are different. I already try the support centre but I’m over the 90 days.And there is no Apple Store in Namibia. I hope someone can help me here. and for the record, i dont think the store where i bought it is an authorized shop.. its just a store who boughts phone's from Apple in a low price and sells it in much more money..
