Iphone 5s why map road cannot be determined
i'm useing iphone 5s when i use the map i can't get the directions it's showing message( A route to the nearest road cannot be determined ) say how it's work
Follow these steps:
Get directions
Note: To get directions, iPhone must be connected to the Internet. To get directions involving your current location, Location Services must also be on.
Get directions. Tap , enter the starting and ending locations, then tap Route. Or choose a location or a route from the list, if available. Tap to select driving or walking directions, or to use an app for public or other modes of transportation such as Uber.
If a location banner is showing, directions to that location from your current location appear. To get other directions, tap the search field.
If multiple routes appear, tap the one you want to take.
Hear turn-by-turn directions: (iPhone 4s or later) Tap Start.
Maps follows your progress and speaks turn-by-turn directions to your destination. To show or hide the controls, tap the screen.
If iPhone auto-locks, Maps stays onscreen and continues to announce instructions. You can also open another app and continue to get turn-by-turn directions. To return to Maps, tap the banner across the top of the screen.
With turn-by-turn directions, night mode automatically adjusts the screen image for easier viewing at night.

View the directions as a list: Tap List Steps.
Stop turn-by-turn directions: Tap End. Or ask Siri to “stop navigating.”

Use Maps on your Mac to get directions. Open Maps on your Mac (OS X Mavericks or later), get directions for your trip, then choose File > Share > Send to your device. Your Mac and iPhone must both be signed into iCloud using the same Apple ID.

Can you go to another area with wireless such as a coffee shop and see if Location Services picke it up there? If the shop says it works there could be some form of interference at your home that is preventing it from picking up the signal properly.

If you only have the wifi only version iPad then the location is derived from the router that you are connected to - if it's not in the database that Apple use then your location can't be determined. Only the 3G iPad has a built-in GPS chip. If you have another wifi-only iOS device that does get a location then you could try this https://discussions.apple.com/message/15446656#15446656

Why does my iPhone camera keep telling me "cannot take photo" there's not enough storage, but I have my phone/camera roll hooked up to Icloud and have purchased additional storage???
iCloud storage has nothing to do with remaining memory on the phone - only memory for backups and Photostream. The photo has to first be stored on the phone and copies sent to iCloud. If there is not enough available memory on the phone, the photo can't be taken.
To determine the remaining memory on the phone:
Settings > General > Usage > Storage
The Camera Roll is meant for temporary storage of photos, which should be imported to an app on your computer and deleted from Camera Roll. You can then sync back those photos which you want to keep on the phone.

When I try to sync my iphone to my itunes it starts going through the steps and then just stops. A little ! shows up beside my iphone under the devices tab in my itunes, when I click on this it the says that 'Itunes cannot sync apps to the Iphone because the apps cannot be determined'
If all you want right now is your music, you can turn off the option to sync apps, that should help.
With your iPhone plugged in, open iTunes, and go to the page with details about your phone (on the left side of iTunes, it should be under the Devices header). When you are there, go to the top, click on the "Apps" tab (next to "Info"), then uncheck the box that says sync apps. -
I wanted to sync my iphone 4 (cdma). I have synced it before successfully. I am getting an error "itunes cannot sync apps to the iphone because the apps installed on the iphone cannot be determined" and the apps and items follwoing apps in syncing (photos for example) will not sync. Items prior to apps synced (calendar/contacts). I restarted both my iphone (currently on ios 4.2.8) and my computer, itunes was on 10.6.1, same problem. I installed itunes 10.6.3, same problem. I had been waiting to update ios to 5.1.1 and would like to do that now, but wanted to sync first. Anyone have any ideas? I am stumped! Thank you.

If you are unable to remember your password, security questions, don’t have access to your rescue address or are unable to reset your password for whatever reason, your only option is to contact Apple ID Support, upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID, this way you will not be charged for assistance, even if you don’t have an AppleCare plan.
You will need to show patience with the procedure and be prepared to demonstrate without question that the account belongs to you. Don’t expect access to be restored immediately and if you aren’t the owner of the Apple ID registered to the device the account won’t be reset.

actually i found out how to fix it
1 sign out of apple account
2 close down passbook app
3 change year to 2013
4 reopen passbook and sign in at the button with your apple ID
5 change the time to auto update and it should work from now on.

On you iPhone, force close all the Apps in the multitask window.
Follow these steps to force an app to close:
From the Home screen, click the Home button twice.
Tap and hold on the app.
When it starts to jiggle, tap the to close it one by one until all cleared
Now do a Soft reset of your iPhone:
Hold both Home and Sleep button for around 10secs until you see the Apple logo then release. After it returns to Home screen, connect to sync and see if this resolves the issue. -

As another post suggested, I restarted both the iPhone and the computer, and that fixed the problem.
