I assume first that you've checked the files before import to make sure the error doesn't exist before you add the files to iTunes.
You've not hacked about with your Localizable.strings file have you? Certain standard genres are represented in tags by a numeric code which can then be translated into the approprate language for the reader. Pop is 13. iTunes uses a file at <Program Files>\iTunes\iTunes.Resources\<Region Code>.lproj\Localizable.strings to hold the different variations. Line 10524 of my current file reads "9200.014" = "Pop"; (I'm guessing it's 14 becuase iTunes likes to count everything from 1 internally, and 0 is Blues in default scheme of things). If your equivalent line read "9200.014" = "[Pop"; then all would fall into place.
For the sake of curiosity which region is iTunes set up for, which version is installed and did you use the 32-bit or the 64-bit installer?

As long as iMessage is enabled and the old phone is connected to a WiFi access point, it will continue to receive iMessage texts. It won't receive non-iMessage texts nor will it receive any calls.

Yeah, first my thought was also that... that's why I've gone to Apple and they already switched the phone twice!!!
Last time was yesterday... I posted this here because I came from Apple and with a new iPhone 5, although I didn't restore anything from iCloud, I hadn't even logged in to iCloud / AppStore, and without any event on the lockscreen my iPhone 5 was already "locked" on the unlock screen... after a mere 45m after I used it without a single App!! I foolishly downloaded OS8 on my iPhone 4S. It not only greyed out my wifi button making it impossiblr to use wifi, but bluetooth connection doesn't work either. I reset the phone to factory settings but that did nothing apart from loose all my photos and contacts. OS 8 was still on after too. Apple say it is a problem but the download only brought the fact the hardware was faulty to the fore, but not being under warranty , the repair would cost £166 that I would have to pay. Totally unacceptable. If the problem was known and they knew it would cause problems on older models, why have it bob up on iTUNES for download.
Don;t download it guys, APPLE aren't admitting culpability and it will cost you a fortune to put right!!

Ikeep getting this error when I attach the new phone. I believe because you migrated from a Nokia to an iPhone you need to register the Bn phone number with your Apple ID so it can be used for iMessage. The Pn number seems to be the only one registered

If I do a restore as I have when previously from one iphone to another it has shown (in settings, usage) the cumulative usage from previous phones so all the hours of calls on all previous iphones will be displayed even though its brand new. First, if you haven't updated to iTunes 10.5, please update now as you will need it for the iPhone 4S and iOS 5.
Once you're done installing iTunes 10.5, open it. Connect your iPhone to iTunes using the USB cable. Once your iPhone pops up right click on it. For example: an iPhone will appear and it will say "Ryan's iPhone."
Right click on it and select "Backup" from the dropdown menu. It will start backing up. This should backup your notes.
Please tell me if you have any problems with backing up.
Once you backup and get your iPhone 4S, you must follow these steps. If you don't follow these steps, you will not be able to get your notes on your new iPhone 4S.
Open up iTunes again then right click on your device (iPhone 4S). Once you do you will see a dropdown menu. It will say "Restore from Backup..." Select this and it'll ask for a backup, select it from the dropdown menu. For example "Ryan's iPhone - October 12, 2011." Pick that and it will restore to your backup. Do this when you get your iPhone 4S so you will not lose anything. Even though you're restoring, you're getting back, since you're getting the previous settings, notes, contacts, mail and other settings from your old iPhone. You'll still have Siri though! So, restore when you first get it. Also frequently backup your device, as it will be worth it. You can restore from a backup if something goes wrong or save your data for a future update.
Once you do that, you should have your notes on your new iPhone 4S and iOS 5.

However, after some time on the phone i was told by the csr and supervisor that their system is not allowing them to complete the transaction without changing to a limited data plan. I was told to try going to a store and buy the phone. Same thing happened. Has Verizon changed something and not told their employees?

Seems like people having this problem are those coming from a phone that doesn't have a nano SIM card...so when Verizon issues them one they end up changing their plan. No clue why this keeps happening but stay on top of them. As long as you initiated the request for your plan to be reinstated within the 14 day time frame they should put it back. Interested in seeing how this plays out. There is still one phone in my house that hasn't been upgraded (an iPhone 4). You'll have to do another restore from the old phone backup. But before doing that, tell us what was not restored. For example is it just photos that didn't get restored? If so, that seems to be a common problem for many users, judging by the posts left in the forum. There doesn't seem to be a solution to that problem (other then to tell users to ALWAYS sync photos to a computer and never trust an iCloud backup/restore to save photos.
