IPhone 6 - Camera from Lock Screen doesn't Work

Hi everybody, how are you ?
I've got a problem with my iPhone 6 64Gb (Same problem before with my iPhone 5, so that's strange and i think the problem is since the new iOS 8.x)
On the lock screen, if i try to open the camera, calculator, lamp, from Control Center, i've got a black screen or my wallpaper...
So i must to open the iPhone and start the camera...
If i restart the device, it's working but i don't want to do that every day !
Does anybody has the same problem or not ? Do you have a solution please ?
Device : iPhone 6 64Gb
iOS : 8.1.1 (12B436)

Hi,
I haven't got the same problem but I think to solve your problem is that you have to enable Assistive Touch and then try it (If that does't work, you might have to take it to the apple shop)
To enable assistive touch, follow the steps below,
•Go to settings
•Go to General
•Go to Accessibility
•Scroll to the very bottom and find "AssistiveTouch"
•Click it
•Turn it on
Hopefully that works but if it does't like I said above, you might need to go to your local apple store and get them to try and fix it.

I couldn't get my camera to work smoothly

If the touch screen is not having any response then you probably have a hardware failure. Take your phone to an Apple Store or authorised service provider to have it checked.

Thanks. I don't know if it seems obvious to everyone, but it shouldn't be needed to double click to seet it. If anyone finds out why there isn't a week view in the Calendar native app, or a way to make it avaiable I would be thankfull. If not, I will continue using third party app for that purpose.

IPhone 6 Camera from lock screen, closes after 1 second...

When I access the camera from the lock screen, it opens for about one second then just blacks out to a screen off mode. I can still get to camera the long way by unlocking screen and clicking on icon, but want to know why the shortcut from lock screen is buggy. Please advise.

I'm not sure what you meant with the first part of your reply. However, the reset seems to returned behaviors to normal... so thanks for that.
Not that it matters much now, but again, the issue was that I wasn't able to go directly into camera mode from Lock Screen... the camera app would appear for one second, then the screen would just go into sleep mode. Unlocking screen with passcode or Touch ID worked fine then opening apps from there all worked fine. Just the camera shortcut from Lock Screen as the issue, but now it is resolved.

Do I need insurance to get a new iPhone if my lock button doesn't work?

I have an iPhone 4 and my lock button doesn't work anymore. I've asked around and some of my friends think it's a malfunction in the spring, I was wondering if I could get a new phone since it's a malfunction and that it's not my fault.

If it's within the first year's warranty or within the extended applecare warranty period it will be repaired free of charge provided the fault does not contravene the conditions of the warranty.
If it's out of warranty you can pay for an out-of-warranty repair.
Either way you should take it to either your service provider or your nearest apple store.

Camera from lock screen unlocks iPod

After updating to IOS 5, when I use the camera from the lock screen, my iPod is then unlocked. No password needed. Ouch!

Sorry for the confusion. I misunderstood the difference between autolock and passcode lock and how they work together. The passcode timer doesn't start until the iPod is put into sleep mode, or the autolock has occurred. I had to wait long enough to ensure the passcode was in force. I could use the camera, and the iPod remained locked afterwards.

HT5957 Controlling music apps in lock screen doesn't work in ios7.02?

After applying the second update to ios7, none if my music apps function in the lock screen. No stopping music from any app including the Apple music app in the lock screen. This means that Bluetooth controllers such as car stereo systems can't control next track, pause or stop on any music app being accessed since the screen is generally locked while driving. This is dangerous because the only way to control these apps - while driving - is to unlock the phone. Apparently my phone is now more secure, but I guess that means it securely doesn't work in lock screen.

Try A and B
(A) Restart iPad
1. Hold down the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
2. Drag the slider to turn off iPad.
3. Turn iPad back on, hold down the Sleep/Wake until the Apple logo appears
(B) Reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
Note: Data will not be affected.

New Camera from Lock Screen feature makes passcode unecessry!!!

Anyone else notice that when you access the camera from the lock screen that if you then hit the home button you are not required to enter your passcode. Major security issue there!!!

That's because the phone is not in lock mode, set the settings to ask the password after two minutes, then leave it alone for 3 minutes ( you can do it!!!); then try it!!!

My iPhone's Sleep/Lock Button doesn't work?

I have an iPhone 4 which iv had it for almost a year now and yesterday night I pressed on the lock button and it wouldn't sleep ? or Lock??? I have NEVER ever dropped an iPhone or any phone.. NO it has never gotten wet, the phones button no longer does the clicking sound and feels stiff like pressing down on rubber. I do have warranty on my phone until 2012 of June. What can I do ?, can I get my phone replaced for a NEW one or Fixed ?

Hey i a few months ago had the problem, and like *gdgmacguy said i did so. I took out my phone i downloaded the Apple Store App and i set up an appointment with a guy at the genius bar, i went the next day with only my phone and nothing else, we talked about what was the problem and he took a look at it with a little light which i guess it was to make sure it wasnt droped in the water and within 5 min he just took a brand new iPhone for me. So i walked out with the reciept of the exchange (Paid $0.00. ) and a brand new iPhone 4.
