Iphone 6 continually searches for network. Tried reset numerous times with no luck. Removed sim card. I have been having problems with it since update.

iphone 6 will not find service. I have tried resetting numerous times. It worked once but soon after lost service again. This problem started gradually last week and if I shut phone off it would usually find service again. This time nothing. I have tried every reset, removing sim card, and restoring from iTunes. Nothing works.

Its still in warranty. Take it to an Apple store. Make an appointment first.

This past month I have been having problems connecting to my home wireless connection. I have a MacBook Pro OSX Version 10.6.8. Previously I had no problems whatsoever. I have tried unplugging the wireless router, turning off the wirless airport, deleting the network name from my list of servers and trying to reconnect this way. These methods have worked temporarily, but the same problem keeps coming back. Most of the time my personal wireless connection does not even come up among the list of available networks. My fellow flatmates have PCs and both of them are able to connect to the network without problem.
The router is a d-link model DIR-615. I am not tech savy, so if any other information need to be provided in order to better understand my situation, please let me know.
    Please help me!

If I open the list of networks in a window it says "connection timeout," but if I just select it from the drop down it tries for awhile and then stops with no prompt. When I try to run network diagnostics it says "sorry, we can't connect to the internet" (or some solution-free variation of that)

  • IPhone 4 always searching for Network even if there is NO SIM inserted

I am facing trouble in activating my iPhone after restore. I am trying all possible reason to find out few things:
    1. After restore my iPhone 4 is asking to connect iTune and when I am connecting it fails and says "There is some prblem with your iPhone". I think I can activate the phone over WIFI network but it never reach till that page. It goes to Language>Country>Connect to iTune and then it fails.
    2. Even if I remove my SIM from iPhone, it is still searching the Network and doesn't understand and notify that "NO SIM".
My iPhone fell once and it was all fine but it asked me to reset the phone and I did...since that time I nevet been able to activate my iPhone but rest of everything is just fine and there is no physical hardware damage to the phone.
Also, I am based at Saudi Arabia and we dond't have Apple Store / Genius Bars to visit.

I do have an avtive SIM and it is Post Paid Connection which is activated and no problem with SIM.
I have to try only activating only by connecting to iTune as my iPhone asked so and it doesn't leave any option for me. Once I do that it is showing me the error attached to this post.

  • Iphone 4s always searching for network

    Hi All,
I already tried the article that have suggested about
    iPhone: Troubleshooting No Service
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts4429
but it doesn't solve the problem. I even tried to restore to factory setting and replacing the antenna but still the same problem " always searching for network". I referred this problem on 2 repair shop but they said it related to motherboard. Is there service center for apple in Singapore or Philippines? What would be best thing to do for my current iphone?

You'll have to contact your carrier to get it serviced, copied from the iPhone service center for Singapore:
    Out-of-Warranty Service
Please contact your carrier or an iPhone Authorised Service Provider for Out-of-Warranty Service Options

  • IPhone 4S constantly "searching" for network, even when SIM card is taken out.

I have tried resetting the network settings, restarting the phone several times and also doing a manual reset (holding down home and lock button).
So far services comes on once in a while, but then goes to "searching" mode 10 minutes later.
Thinking this could be a hardware problem, but hoping someone out there is having/has had a similar problem and can give me a hand.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
Based on your description, I suspect the SIM card to be defective or otherwise the cause of your issues. I suggest you seek out a replacement from your mobile service provider.
Good luck and let us know!

  • TS1646 I Have tried to update my credit card info several times in the last 4 months and i have been unsuccessful in being able to update my billing info, how can i get this fixed?

In the last four months i have attempted to update my billing info, it says my billing information does not match despite verifying it several times with the bank. I walked into an Apple store hoping they would be able to magically fix it, but they were unsuccessful at it as well. I was asked to call into and speak to someone in support but they just ended up sending me to a website so that i would have to explain my situation again. I need help fixing this please!

What did itunes support tell you?
If you did everything it says then you contacted them.
    From the article you linked:
If the issue persists, you can visit iCloud Support, iTunes Support, Apple Print Products, or contact AppleCare for further assistance."

  • Hi, I have the 3gs and had it unlocked for my virgin sim card, I have been using it for a while now and thought I would connect it to my i tunes, it said that i had to restore my phone so I did and now it says that no sim is inserted! can any1 help plz?

I tried to not restore it but the phone wouldn't even turn off so thought I had no choice : ( XX

Hi Peter, Outcome is I look like a real big idiot!!!! When my husband got home I was in the process of writing down all the details to inform apple of the dodgy o2 store, only for him to inform me that he never got it unlocked at the o2 store because they couldn't do it the same day and as I have zero patience he took it a few doors down to a phone shop that advertised unlocking of phones! So now holding my head in shame I have to appologise to o2 and to everyone for wasting their time! Sorry! I assumed that when he gave me the phone and I asked that it was fully unlocked (as we had read up on the jailbreak and red something?) and he said yes! that the o2 store had done it, but he had asked the shop  that unlocked it if it would be fully unlocked and took their word for it! so my phone has been hacked and I will now be (with my tail between my legs, so to speak) taking it to the o2 store for help : (  Hope someone else will read this and learn for my (well my husbands) lesson and go through the correct channels, Thanks again to yourself and KiltedTim and Sorry! • I have been having problems with e-mails coming through to my 3g iphone recently, my e-mail provider recommended diabling the SSL as a default option but im not sure where to find this on the phone can anyone help?told

Please can you advise how to disable the SSL on my iphone, i am not sure where the setting is.
    Thanks
    Tania

Go to Settings/Mail, Contacts, Calendars.  Tap the name of the email account. If you don't see a bar labeled "Advance" near the bottom,  Tap Account.  Tap Advanced.   Under Incoming Settings, there should be an option to Use SSL.  If it is ON, tap it to turn it off.

  • I have been having problems downloading one email account for over a week. I have removed and re-added account.

This seems to be a problem brought on by the latest version of TB. Can I roll-back to older version?

I also have 8.1 Pro and haven't had that problem. You can try downloading an older version of TB, but I don't know whether your machine will allow the install? Pick your poison: <<Link deleted as it is not to a Thunderbird download in a Mozilla server >>
Old versions can be downloaded from the Mozilla FTP server if it is absolutely necessary. Not receiving mail is not necessary. EVER.

My iPhone 5 continuously searches for mail, no matter what time period I set it for in settings. Has anyone else experienced this?

My iPhone 5 continuously searches for mail
    How do you know this?
no matter what time period I set it for in settings
You realize that Mail App checks for mail every time it's opened and that the fetch interval  you set applies only to background checks when the app is closed, right?

Hi, I have an Iphone 3g that is "Not" jailbroken, nor do I want it to be jailbroken. However, I had been having problems with it shuting down and not starting again. So, I tried to update and restore only to get an "error" 1015.
It is now stuck on "connect to itunes"
Any help would be great as this is a factory unlocked phone

Apple in no way blocks devices.
Carriers can blacklist devices from their network.  If that is what has occurred, only the carrier can remove the blacklist.  This should have nothing to do with your ability to activate the device and use it as an iPod.
