Iphone 6+ infinite loop of reboot and crash

Just bought new iphone 6+ , 128G, started it as a new phone to setup, and then updated to 8.1 software, then i have reset all settings so that i can setup it as a phone from the icloud, but now it got into an infinite loop of reboot showing red screen for 1-2 seconds and then normal apple reboot logo.
I was really looking forward for the new iphone 6+, it is so annoying and disappointing from Apple.
what shall be done?

Try to use iTunes on your computer to set it up as new device. To make sure that this is not software related set it up without using the latest backup first, in case it contains damaged data causing the crashes.
How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backups
If it works after that, restore from the backup. If it does not, you'll have to get it serviced:

i think i might have a solution... i have windows vista and after i installed to latest itunes update everytime i tried to open it it would freeze. I tried everything, including uninstalling itunes and all of its components and reinstalled it numerous times. So i went to the itunes folder in my folders, not on itunes, and i deleted my itunes library and playlists. After that it worked just fine, all of my music was deleted but luckily i had my files saved elsewhere.
I hope this helped! I know its frustrating and APPLE/ITUNES NEED TO FIX THE PROBLEM!!!!

Windows won't install USB device...infinite loop of connect and disconnect

I've been very happy with my Ipod purchases over the years but this one is the worst problem I have ever had. Purchased an 8gb Ipod Nano 3rd gen for the wife as a Xmas present and went to install it on my PC today but no luck whatsoever. The PNP manager seems to go into an infinite loop of connect and disconnect with the odd "Itunes has found a corrupt player ...." message but the device won't stay on the PC long enough as it promptly disconnects from the PC again!
My other 3 Ipods all connect and work quite happily on this PC, I've tried a few of the other "solutions" that seem to fix other "problems" but as the device does not stay connected for long enough I can't do anything with it!
Has anyone else had this problem and been able to fix it? If so, what did you do to correct the problem?

I've tried unplugging everything and it still didn't work (I only have a USB printer, USB 1.1 hub and a USB phone connected). Funnily enough though connecting it to the USB 1.1 hub it works OK - go figure. Connecting directly to a USB 2 connector either on the front or rear panel and my PC goes into the connect/disconnect loop! My 1st and 2nd gen Ipod nano's and my Shuffle all happily connect to the USB 2 connectors on the front panel but the 3rd gen one does not want to know.
I think that Apple have got something seriously wrong here and it would be nice if it was acknowledged and a proper fix applied.

IPHONE 4 (IOS 7.1) KEEPS RANDOMLY REBOOTING AND CRASHING

OKAY SO I AM COMPLETELY LOST FOR OPTIONS AND I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO.
I HAVE AN IPHONE 4 THAT RESTARTS ALL THE TIME WHEN IM USING IT, ATLEAST 6-7 TIMES A DAY WITHOUT FAILURE.

I WAS TOLD THAT IT IS NOT A HARDWARE PROBLEM AND THERE MIGHT BE A BUG ON THE IOS 7.1 UPDATE WHICH MAKES THE PHONE CRASH AND REBOOT AS IT PLEASES.
DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE THESE PROBLEMS AND IF SO HAVE YOU FOUND ANY WORKING SOLUTIONS? PLEASE HELP
I ALSO CHECKED MY DIAGNOSTICS LOG AND NOTICED THESE TWO ERRORS WERE QUITE FREQUENT IN IT. I HOPE THIS SHEDS SOME LIGHT ON WHAT THE PROBLEM COULD BE.

Yes...I have the same problem too after upgrading to ios 7.1..I end up buying an android phone yesterday..I am seriously frustated as i cant use my phone for the past couple of week. Everytime I open my camera it crashes...answered call and crashed....open email and crashed...trying to call someone and it crashed...and plenty of other occasion!!...*** iphone????

IMovie 08 slideshow infinite loop - with Applescript and Automator?

As many people I try to use iMovie for a slide show with an infinite loop. But there is no button inside the program for it. I don't want to export the project to use the loop function of Quicktime. Because that means compression of the slide show photos - Export with Quicktime: H.264, Best Quality.
I already compressed the photos with JPG in High Resolution (Photoshop) and dropped them into the project. The result of double compression is not fine (enough). And the amount of data increases.
So I tried to program a short Applesript for an infinite loop in iMovie. First it seemed to be very simple. iMovie "cmd g" starts the fullscreen presentation of the project. At the end you press "spacebar" and it runs again.

In some groups people say it's impossible to program a script for iMovie because it does not support Applescript.

I run GTR crash's to desktop or errors and crash's
any app even IE6 will crash cant run prime for more than a few minutes without crashing that

I had to move my RAM to slots 3 and 4 because my Zalsman Flower H/F
was alittle too close to my giant RAM stick in slot 1
so I made it fit and Memtest86 made 1 sweep so far with no errors
so definetly
slot 1 and 2 for TWINX RAM anything else is just a no go !
I gotta say the RAM GUY would disagree with your(s) RAM info
The RAM auto boots at those setting 2.2.2.5 IT 200 frequency
and I almost volt modded wheew ! I will try and back down on the DIMM Volts
I swear he said 2.75 is normal but had me set to 2.80 to see if that solved anything

I am trying to update and restore a backup of an iPad. I ended up in an infinite loop of restoring and re-setting up the iPad. Help???? Suggestions?

This iPad had iOS 4.3.3 and I wanted to update it to the most recent software, 7.1. The first thing I did was I backed it up to my computer so I would be able to restore all of the photos and data after I had updated. At first, I tryed just clicking Update. It kept failing with error 9006. Then, I tryed the Restore and Update. This timed out even though it seemed to be moving alone just fine. The last thing I tried was to wipe the iPad and then update it. This worked. When it came up on my computer, it asked if I wanted to restore from a backup. I said yes and selected the backup that I made. It said Restoring. Afterwards, it took me through the normal process that you would go through to set up a new iPad. at the end of the setup, it asked if I would like to set it up as a new iPad, or restore from a backup. ???????? I tried to restore from backup and it started and endless loop of restoring and setting up, and restoring again. I eventually selected to set up as a new iPad. I cannot firgure out how to get the pictures back onto the iPad from the backup if the restore won't work. I was wondering if it is possible to find the picture files on my computer??? Does anybody have any suggestions or ran into the same problem???
FYI: I was a bit disapointed to learn that the online support chat now costs $20

IPhone 4 keyboard freeze, runs slow and crashes - is there a fix?

Not been able to use my iPhone 4 for over a week now originally due to the screen freezing on "enter passcode" page. The probelm has escalated to keyboard and generally unable to use the handset in any reliable way. Please point me in the right direction to fixing this.
Symptoms and log of activities in chronological order;
- the arrow freezes when "slide to unlock". This would persist over a period of time (a day to 7-8 days), first incident around April. After many manual resets, able to access without the arrow freezing. Observed that this kept happening after the iPhone has been switched off.
- the above problem returned last week after the device was switched off then back on. This time, the arrow freezed for 15-30 seconds then "enter passcode" page appeared. The keyboard that appears is unresponsive so nothing happens when you press the buttons. The text entry cursor does not blink. iPhone eventually crashes with a spinning loading sign on freeze.
- cannot switch off phone, unless with hard reset by holding the home + on/off buttons. - the same issue returns immediately.
- restoring iPhone (first time) - required to update to IOS 5.1.1. Still the problem persists
- appointment with Genius bar - explained the problem. Does not take a look at the handset once but offers a replacement at a cost.
- Suspect it might be a glitch rather than a hardware damage (it's only under 8 months old) so attempts another restore. This time, set up/configure screen comes up on the device. Chooses not to set passcode. Screen is responsive, able to choose launguage, country etc... Hope returns, it actually seems to be working. Slide to unlock, takes 15-30 seconds but does unlock. Able to open and delete emails and SMS texts. Apps such as facebook seems to be working although generally everything is slow.
- HOWEVER, keyboard across all apps unresponsive and text entry cursor does not blink. The apps crashes then returns to home screen.
- Deleted emoji international keyboard in the hope that the keyboard problem would go away.
- After a number of crashes, the screen is black. The Backlight of the screen is on but unable to switch off or do hard reset.
From deduction, the problem seems to be with the keyboard across all apps.
Has anyone had similar problems and did you find any fixes?
I really don't want to have to pay for another replacement so please please, do share your knowledge. Thank you

Funny you say that... the iPhone's audio out was playing up, not recognising the headphone. I switched the iPhone off to shine some light down it to see if something had gone down it and that's how the problem of rebooting itself started.
I took it into Apple store yesterday to the Genius bar and they carried out a few tests. They suspected it to be a software issue but the diagnostic returned clean so uploaded new firmware. The problem still persisted so they had to look inside. He returned 10 mins later with the following results; all looked fine on the inside, once put back together, the screen was not responsive and rebooting continuously. They couldn't figure out what was wrong with it so I've now got a replacement handset which is working fine after a restore from backup.
I suggest you take it into the store to have it looked at. Let us know if there was a solution to yours.

My iPhone 5s is stuck in reboot and plug into iTunes

I tried to update my software version using iTunes. I got a #17 error. I tried rebooting my iPhone after unplugging it from my PC. No I am stuck in some type of loop where I get the Apple icon when I turn on the phone and it turns into the "plug into iTunes" symbol shortly after. When I plug it back into my PC and connect to iTunes it tells my I must restore my phone to original settings. When I opt for that it get the error 17 again. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi, that is call Recovery Mode. You can try Dr.Fone for iOS to get it out of the Recovery mode:
Step 1. download and install the trial version of Dr.Fone on your computer;
Step 2. Connect your iPhone with your computer via its USB cable;
Step 3. On your iPhone, click 'Trust'. Launch Dr.Fone for iOS and click the 'Restart the device' to start your iPhone.

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

New Iphone wont turn on, wont reboot and wont charge.

So i got home from the bell store today to try out the Iphone4 and after hooking it up to the computer to upload some music, i try sending my first text message. While sending the phone turned off and wont turn on. It also won't reboot (yes i tried hold home and power button for more than 10 seconds many times) and when I connect it to the computer again or plug it into the wall it wont charge or even get detected by computer... help?

Well I tried going to the bell store and they said that as soon as you walk out the door, it is no longer their problem but apples... kind of a ***** move. However on the way home it just randomly turned itself on... an apple logo showed up while it was sitting there on the passenger seat.
Really random, however I'm too happy its working again to wonder what happened.

ICloud settings in iphone grayed out and crashes

When I go to settings/icloud on my iphone 4, everything is grayed out and crashes when trying to verify. Email address shows my itunes account but won't let me change to the new .me account I set up at icloud.com. Any ideas?

If your new ID was changed (renamed) from your old ID rather than being an entirely new ID, recreate it by going to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

ABAP-query going in infinite loop

I have one on abap-query in which i am displaying data for delivery details that is table LIKP and LIPS.
In this query i also have some code to get the sale order details from the the delivery details.
I have also used one FM module in this query as well as select endselet stamt.
When i run my quey it i going in infinite loop. I am not getting any thing . Each time i have to exit the screen.
Can anyone please tell me wat is the problem, why it is going in infinite loop.

PDF Forms in Firefox - infinite loop

Howdy,
I am a developer who is using PDF forms (FDF) to populate data into a database via form submission. Everything works fine on Internet Explorer but, on Firefox 3.6.17 with Adobe Reader X, I either end up getting a blank form when launched from an FDF which has valid data OR, I get into a situation where new firefox windows come up continuously in what appears to be an infinite loop (have to log out to end the recursion). Anyway, figured I'd see if anybody here had seen that before and, if so, if there's a solution to it?

I have a similar problem, but apparently in the inverse direction. We recently "upgraded" to Acrobat X (Version 10.1).
I have a web application that uses data in a database to populate a PDF form displayed in a browser window. (Display in browser window is checked.) At the beginning of August, we started to get an infinite loop whenever trying to display the form.
Behavior pattern:
(1) Click the link that's supposed to open the new form. A new IE window opens (as is supposed to happen). Status says "connecting" but there's nothing in the URL.
(2) 1/2 second later, a file download popup appears.
(3) 1/2 second later, Adobe Acrobat window appears (as if I had run Acrobat as a program). There are 4 windows on the screen at this point, including the normal application window.
(4) After a 1/2 second delay, system goes into infinite loop, displaying (1) and (2) in an infinite sequence.Window 3 (Acrobat) seems to simply stay open. Howeve
Cycle time is about 1/2 second for all 3 popup windows to display one time. This occurs on 19 different computers (different models, but all running Windows Vista Enterprise, Internet Explorer 7 and Acrobat 10.1.

ActionEvent/Setting gui text in an infinite loop

I have set up a gui that contains ~ 100 JTextFields and one JTextButton
Pressing the JTextButton on the gui triggers an action event that
1.     establishes a socket connection w/ a server
2.     reads input from the server in an infinite loop
3.     should use the server data to dynamically setText in the various JTextFields found on the gui.
for example, during one iteration of the infinite loop, the data may set the text of JTextField #1 to ?foo? and in a later iteration of the loop, the new data from the input stream may set the text of the same field to something else (e.g. ?bar?). Thus, the gui should show a dynamically changing collection of TextFields after the user presses the JTextButton.
Problem: because of the infinite loop, NONE of the fields is ever updated (see pseudocode below). If I remove the infinite loop and simply have 1 iteration of the block of code within the actionPerformed method, the gui updates properly.
How might I alter the code to a) maintain the server connection, b) continuously read from the input stream and c) have a dynamic update of the textfields w/in the gui?
I've tried adding "this.paint(this.getGraphics());" within the infinite loop and it sort of works, but the updates to the gui are FAR SLOWER than the data that are streaming in from the server.

have the reading loop in a different class which will have its own Thread running aside from the main program's thread. This way your application will do both at once :)
