Hi all. I recently restore my old iphone 5 on my new 6. I'm having problems with bluetooth devices. The ones that were already paired with the old one are not showing in the list, and most of them(not all) are not working or pairing. I already restored network settings to no avail. Any ideas?

What's more, they don't even show on the bluetooth devices list..

  • Has anyone been having problems with bluetooth in Macbook PRO after upgrading to Mavericks?

    Hello,
Ever since I upgrade my 13inch (early 2011) Macbook PRO to OS X Mavericks I have been experiencing problems with bluetooth connectivity. Suddenly my Magic Mouse stops working and I cannot connect it back. Also I try turning off the bluetooth function but is not possible. The only workaround I have found is to restart the system.
    I appreciate any help.

  • Anyone else having problems with bluetooth on iPhone 6 or is it just me?

I have an iPhone 6 Plus, 128 GB, iOS 8.1 and the hands free is driving me crazy.
It does connect to the car bluetooth, but sometimes the call goes to the phone and then comes back to the car, or the call starts on the phone and takes too long to go to the car. Same problem on 2 different cars.
Also sometimes while on a call a white apple logo comes up to the screen, the call "freezes" and some seconds later the call resumes (the call doesn´t get lost)
The second situation happened very few times on my previous iPhone 5S, but now is very frequent.
Any ideas if it is "normal" and I have to wait for a fix or if there is a problem with my phone?
    THANKS!!!

  • My iphone 5 is having problems with syncing

My Iphone 5 updated to the version 6 is having problems syncing music from the library. However on the computer it has the songs there in and says that its on the iphone but when i go to listen to it on the iphone its not there. I have tried to restore it and restart it but nothing seems to work

Unless it was physically damaged, it should be covered under warranty.
    Try restarting/resetting the device first.
If that doesn't work, restore from a previous backup.
If that doesn't work, restore as a new device.
If that doesn't work, it's probably a hardware issue, and you should contact Apple.

  • Anybody else having problem with bluetooth connection in vehicle

I have had the iPhone 4s for about 10 days now, and my problem is lag time connecting  to the Bluetooth in my vehicle. When I make a call from the phone, the Bluetooth doesn't connect until the call is picked up on the receiving end. In other words I never hear the phone ringing, nor do I hear the person I am calling say hello. Apple has sent me a new phone, it has the same problem. They think its my vehicle. Called Toyota for Bluetooth upgrade, they said I should not need one. My previous 2 phones hooked up without a problem. Yesterday I tried my sons iPhone 4, it hooks up immediately. So I am assuming the 4s has a software issue. Which Apple is not as yet aware of. Anybody else with this problem. Andre

I haven't had a consistent 4G signal since 7/19.  I called Verizon and tech said there were no reported outages. Trouble ticket was created but I haven't heard anything yet.  I thought maybe it was related to heat wave but today, still no signal and it's cooler.  I l live in the city and work downtown.  My software is current and I'm not rooted.
    Hi Bingmei,
I understand your frustration with not getting a 4G signal in Chicago. Are you still experiencing this issue? The post below yours states that a power cycle corrected the issue. I did check my references and I am not showing a 4G outage in Chicago from the 19th.
Have you received word back yet from the trouble ticket that was issued? Please let us know so we can make sure that your issue is resolved.
Thank you and have a great day!

  • My iphone camera is having problems with flash

Recently my relatively new iphone 4 is doing weird things with the camera using flash.  The pictures have this weird flash of light in them.  It is like light is leaking in.  Any flash pictures are useless.  Apple says I can't get support because my support has ended!  Arghhh - I have had this phone less than a year.
    Anyone else experiencing this?

    Good luck, and you're welcome
Sometimes the case just covers a little bit too close to the camera... the bigger the hole around the camera, the less chance of it being a problem.

  • I'm having problems with bluetooth mouse and keyboard. They work for the first 10 minutes then stop communicating.

I have to turn the computer off in order to get control of the computer again. Any ideas of what the problem may be?

You can run Bluetooth diagnostics by holding down the Option key and clicking the Bluetooth icon in the status menu bar.

  • HT204387 Hi I'm having problems with my Bluetooth please help me thank you

Hi I'm having problems with Bluetooth it wont light up

What light are you talking about?
iOS devices don't, by the way, have the BT profile for transferring files. You can connect to keyboards, headsets, speakers, car kits.

  • Having problems with pairing my Iphone 5 with other bluetooth  devices

I'm having problem with pairing my Iphone5 with other Bluetooth devices like another phone and bluetooth headphone.
I followed all the right instructions of the other device, but the Iphone just would not pair with them!!

You can not pair it with another phone at all. That's not a feature of the iPhone. Never has been.
As for the headphone, is it in discoverable mode?

  • HT1222 Is anyone having problems with iPhone Bluetooth to BMW s since iOS 6.1

Is anyone having problems with iPhone Bluetooth to BMW s since iOS 6.1?

Yes. I had an iPhone 3G and when upgraded to 6.1 the bluetooth connectivity failed progressively and eventually the phone just wouldn't connect. I broke and reestablished the pairing am few times and each time it would work for a while then disconnect to the extent I thought the bluetooth hardware in the car was failing. I then got an iPhone 5 and the same issue remained. In the last few days I've paired an old Blackberry with the car kit to rule out the BMW hardware. Blackberry is fine so it has to be iOS incompatibility.

    Tell Apple about it: http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html
Be sure to give as much detail as possible.
I would also check LG's site.

  • We recently purchased the iphone5 (2) and are having problems with sound coming thru the earbuds when we plug them in to the iphones.  works fine with the ipad.  help please

recently purchased the iphone5 (2 of them) and are having problems with the earpods.  no sound when plugged in to the iphone.  both phones.  works with the ipad.  help please

    Hi P5052,
Welcome to the Support Communities ... and congratulations on the purchase of your iPhone 5's!
It is very unusual that neither phone is working with the new earpods.
Have you tried a different headphone just to see if the issue is with the earpods or the iPhones?
The article below will give you the basic troubleshooting steps for this issue.
Click on the link below to see more details and screenshots.
I've quoted some helpful highlights for you:
iPhone: Can't hear through the receiver or speakers
    Symptoms
When someone calls, I can't hear them through the receiver or speaker phone, and I can't hear music through the speaker. I also can't be heard by someone who is calling me.
Note: iPhone has one speaker, which is adjacent to the dock connector. On iPhone 4 or later models, the speaker is to the right of the dock connector. On earlier iPhone models, the speaker is to the left of the dock connector.
    Resolution
Verify that there is nothing plugged in to the headset jack, including headsets, headphones, or adapters.
Make sure the Ring/Silent switch is not switched to silent.
While on the Home screen, adjust the volume buttons. If you see the icon below, indicating that headphones are attached, there may be debris or an object lodged in the headset jack:
Check the headset jack. If there is an object lodged in the headset jack that is not easily removed, have the iPhone serviced to remove object.
For Original iPhone: If there is light debris, such as lint, in the headset jack, try connecting a pair of headphones to the headset jack and then remove the headphones. Repeat this several times to remove the debris.
If you have installed a protective film on the display, either ensure that the receiver is not covered or remove the film completely.
Check the receiver mesh (which is on the top front of the device, above the display). If it appears blocked, use a clean, small, dry, soft-bristled brush to carefully and gently brush away any debris.
If you have paired with a Bluetooth headset that is nearby, either use the headset or turn Bluetooth off (chooseSettings > General > Bluetooth).
    Restart the iPhone.
If restarting the iPhone doesn't resolve the issue, try restoring the device.
If the issue persists, go to the Service Answer Center - iPhone for information on service.
    Hope this helps!
    - Judy

    HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!

    BOB we need you urgently
Perhaps Bob will see this thread, he is the professor in these cases.
You do not use a WEP password but wpa/wpa2 on router and equipment.
All equipment connects to WiFi, but for your iPad.
Even with all other equipment WiFi off, you cannot connect your iPad.
Your iPad connects to other WiFi nets correctly.
All resets etc done on iPad and Router.
Still I am not sure it is your router for sure, frustrating...
I want to test 2 other things:
    1. in your iPad, set everything OFF in Settings/Cellular, turn off/then/on your WiFi, and see whether it will still not connect...
    2. If that does not do it: disconnect the router as well as the modem from the power, for 15 seconds, then reconnect the modem, let it fully start, then reconnect the routet let it fully start, turn of your WiFi in iPad, then on, and see whether it will connect.
