IPhone 6 iTunes videos play only audio

On my newly acquired iPhone 6 some of my video podcasts play only audio at first. When I stop them and later play they play both audio and video.
Any suggestions?

Okay all
The Steps I followed I restarted the iPad first by holding the home button and the power button and powered down.
Then restarted the iPad and went to settings
Then to General
Then to reset network settings.
After the iPad restarted everything worked properly
If all that fails I work reset the entire iPad in the same area by resetting all settings or erasing the entire iPad
All ican say is it worked for me and all videos are up and running

i recently added a bunch of ripped videos to my iphone (MPEG-4 video). when i try to play them, iphone transitions to landscape mode as if it were going to display the video, but it only plays sound. the screen remains black. videos purchased from itunes in the same format play fine, other MPEG-4s don't. any thoughts as to why only the audio is playing and not the video as well? thanks.

MPEG-4 has several possible encoding options. If you open the video in Quicktime, and choose Window -> Show Movie Info, it will list the encoding options.
You may want to verify the videos are not MUXed, and they have the appropriate video encoding. This tutorial gives the steps for converting videos with Quicktime:

All videos in my library play only audio

All videos in my iTunes 10.1.1 library play only audio. What can I do? I restarted my Mac, reinstalled my iTunes, no luck please get me some info.

Thank you everythings good now, but instead of that I simply hit play and pause twice and it worked along with only to play on my computer speakers with that AirTunes airplay thingy

Black Magic Intensity Pro Play only Audio when edit in CS 5.5

Hi i have an problem, when i try to edit with Black Magic Intensity Pro in premiere CS5.5
i can play only Audio but not Video so i check settings on Premiere and control panel for
Black Magic Intensity and everything is OK and i check connections the preview is connect
via HDMI cacle and Composite Video/Audio and in both cases i get only Audio but no Video
so what is the problem? An driver for Black Magic Intensity Pro issue or what?

ITunes is playing only part of a song. Why?

About two and a half years ago I discovered a fan site for my favorite band that allowed other fans to download (for free!) bootleg recordings of the band's concerts. I've played the files a zillion times with no problems. Recently, I discovered that at least two of these files are not playing correctly in iTunes. iTunes will play only a portion of the song before it abruptly switches to the next song in the list.
For example, one of the songs is 8:28, but iTunes will only play the first 1:38 before it switches to the next song. Even more curious, if I allow the first 1:37 to play and then force iTunes to pick the song up again at 1:41 by dragging the cursor on the horizontal line indicating song progression (in the small window that also lists song title/album name/artist), iTunes will begin to play the first 1:38 again (although the horizontal line indicating progression shows that you are 1:41+ seconds into the song).
I cannot replace these files because the site where I found them has been taken down. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this problem? Thanks!
By the way, I am running iTunes version 8.0.2

I should add that I downloaded 34 tracks (including the two affected files) from the fan site on 6.2.2006 and 6.3.2006. After looking at the 'Date Added' column, 6 songs (including the two affected tracks) are listed as having been added on 4.3.2007 and 1 song is listed as having been added on 11.18.2006. In fact, those songs would have been downloaded on the same days as all the other files--6.2.2006 and 6.3.2006.

Play only audio from RTMP Live audio/video stream

I am working on Flex FMS video conference app, Is there any possibility to stop video and listen only audio of a broadcaster with RTMP Live without broadcaster detaching camera to Stream and should not affect other viewers video feed.

Actually, iTunes does this automatically. If you go to music>songs>and scroll down you should see everything in your library including music videos and podcasts. When you select the music video or podcast of your choice in the music menu it will play it as an audio file and not video.

Why is my video playing the audio only?

When I add a video to iDVD only the audio is playing. The video plays fine in my library...

I have uploaded some videos onto my iPod 5th Gen., yet when I try to play them, it only plays as audio, with no picture. Can someone please help.

Make sure you are accessing the file from the Video menu.

My new Ipod touch 5th generation that was released in October 2012 does not play video images in tv through Apple tv. It plays the audio of the video, but no images. How can I get it to play you tube videos with images? My Ipad has no problem connecting with the Apple tv and videos play without an issue. Help please!!

Agreed, but the dents are extremely minor, its not like the entire case is cracked and its coming off, or the screens broken. It's just a slight chip. And ispite it being so minor they have declined the replacement.

Video play as Audio

I recently bought a 30GB video ipod. Initially video use to play normally, then after few days it stopped displaying the video and started playing video files as audio. An audio seek bar is displayed in place of video. I have checked for the video settings and set TV out to OFF.
Video section also shows audio playlists and files. No difference is made even if i try to play the videos from the video menu only and not from Music menu..

30GB 5th Generation video Ipod Windows XP Pro Itunes ver. 7

I had almost the same problem on my 80 Gb iPod. My Music Videos were displayed in both the Music section and the Music Video section. They played fine from the Music Video section but came up with the audio style screen and froze my iPod when I tried from the Music section.
I worked around it by changing all my Music Videos to Movies by selecting them all and right clicking and choosing 'get info' then clicking the 'video' tab and choosing 'movie' from the drop down list.

Flash videos playing with audio echo on initial load.

I have been having issues playing Flash videos in the current version of Firefox (10.0) as well as the previous version (unknown) over the past few months.
When I open a page with a video it will begin playing with an echo as if two videos are playing at the same time with a slight delay on the second video causing an audio echo effect. So basically one video with echoing audio. The websites that I experience this the most are yahoo sports (happens practically every time) and gamespot (happens occasionally). If I refresh the page the echoing effect goes away.
I am running Windows 7 64-bit.
I have updated video drivers on my ATI Radeon HD 5800 series.
My flash player / shockwave is 11,1,102,55 (updated) but I know I have experienced the same problem with previous versions.
I have the following plug-ins enabled:

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Video plays but audio does not!

Help please! I cannot get the audio on any of my podcast videos or videos downloaded from itunes. music files work just fine.
This apparently has just happened overnight. I could hear the audio on my videos last night, but today, nothing.
There were no crashes or other strangeness that I saw.

hmmmmm. let's first check to see if it's just the videos that you've got or any videos that currently don't have sound when you play them in itunes. this document might help with that:

QuickTime and iTunes video playing fullscreen on external monitor automatic

Hello, on my Toshiba laptop with nVidia video card, I have an external monitor hooked up to the laptop. Every time I go to play video from QuickTime or iTunes, it plays the video at full screen size on the external monitor while also playing in the normal small window of QuickTime or iTunes on the main (laptop) LCD. I don't have the QuickTime Pro key installed on this machine, nor have I somehow selected to play videos at full screen. It does this whether I want to do it or not, which is quite annoying as the full screen version is usually flickering to boot.
Help please. I've looked in the QuickTime Control Panel and don't see anything that would cause this problem, nor in iTunes.

A couple of things you might want to try. Open the QT Player settings, not to be confused with the QT Control panel. There should be settings in there for monitors and dual monitors I believe.
For the flickering, open the Display control panel>Settings>Advanced>Monitor. Listed under Monitor settings-Screen refresh rate: try changing the setting to 85 Hertz.

How to make videos play only inside flash?

i have encoded(converted) some video files through Adobe Media Encoder to f4v. and i play them inside flash, through a flvlplayback component.
I've placed the videos inside the same folder as my swf file.
is there anyway i can protect the videos to be shown only inside my swf file?
via the cue points and actionscript or something??
something like a code to be placed at the begining of the clip, and be checked inside my swf file (while loading the video, into the playback component). if the condition was confirmed, the video plays.
so that the video files don't play with other players outside my swf file..

i think the only way to add even a modest amount of protection is to use a streaming server.

Problems with itunes videos playing on NVidia Graphics/SATA controllers FIX

Hi folks just wanted to let you know there is a hotfix for all you folks that have a Vista Computer that has Nvidia Graphics cards GEFORCE series, and Nvidia SATA Drive Controllers.... Go to this website and do al the hoit fixes listed there... http://www.nvidia.com/object/windowsvistahotfixes.html
This will update the firmware for your graphics card and some vista incompatibility issues. Not all of the hotfixes may apply to your system however try downloading all four and it will tell you if it applies to your system or not after you try to install them. After that go to your Control panel and go to device manager and go to your storage card section.. Click on the Nvidia SATA controller device click on the driver section and click on update driver... this will bring up a screen that asks you to have the computer search for the correct driver "click it". It will search the internet for you and download the NEW SATA driver you will have to restart after downloading. THEN go back into the control panel again and make sure the driver is updated to 7/2007 if not reapeat the update driver part. It will then pull the information from your hard drive and the driver will be installed. It takes like 4 seconds to do this... then restart your system and all the problems have been fixed... this works with quicktime in itunes video problems as well as the kodak camera video problems.. I've experienced a similar problem with my mid-2010 MBP freezing when on battery power. I've traced the problem to gfxCardStatus switching the GPU to the Intel HD when there are still dependencies for the NVIDIA 330. I stopped using the application and seems to have solved the problem.
I agree that the problem is prevelant on Lion and didn't occur in Snow Leopard. Your advice to turn off the AGS feature in Energy Saver is a smart one, at least until engineering at Apple resolves this problem, since both gfxCardStatus and AGS are doing the same graphics card switching without reference to actual need of the running apps.
