Iphone 6 logo discoloration

Anyone else notice that their apple logo on the back of the iPhone 6 (Sliver) is discolored, perhaps due to heat from the battery?

UPDATE - Took phone in to Genius Bar and they swapped it out for a new one with no hassle!

I noticed that yesterday on this item they had a Iphone logo, and today in its place is an Ipod touch logo. However, they still list this cable under the Iphone cables section....I'm getting mixed signals here.

What app on the iPhone are you using? Some apps disable that feature.

Iphone Logo on Windows turned black

I have a white iPhone 4 and on windows i always got a white iphone logo on "My Computer" but now it's black, how can i fix this?

While the phone is on and in the "black screen", press and hold the home button and the power button at the same time until you see the Apple logo appear. Then release them. This resolved my issue I was having with this problem. Good luck.

I know. I was with my brother when we did this. He didnt clearly understood the question that poped-up. Regarding the simcard, after successfully restoring it on itunes my simcard won't work. I'm not able to send and receive calls and messages.

IPhone logo freeze and force-restore, a weekly occurrence

My iPhone 3G is fully updated, well taken care of, etc -- but reaches a terminal crash at least every week. I fully restore it, and eventually it crashes -- frozen on the apple logo screen until the battery dies.
In addition to that, every pains-taking backup that is ever created is then seen as 'corrupted', so I have to start over with a 'new phone' for each restore. Which as you all know, takes only a few minutes.. : p
My original iPhone NEVER had this sort of problem. What can I do? Would the genius bar give me a new phone when it will most likely behave in their audience.. ?

DaVBMan, thanks for the suggestion. I think that's probably the most proactive anticipation of this problem... short of buying a Treo and using a phone that works reliably : )

Iphone 5 case displaying iphone logo?

Are there any cases in the uk (or can be shipped) that show the apple logo on them?
preferably not a cut out or clear case. i feel clear cases seem to scratch to easily.
i pay all this money for an iphone, i want people to know ive got an iphone ;-)

IPhone 6 discolored under camera lens

Hi,
I just noticed that my new iPhone 6 is a little discolored UNDER the camera lens.
This has no impact on the pictures whatsoever.
Whatever it is, it's on the right sight above the lens on the pictures.
Anyone else experience this?
Should I exchange my iPhone for a new one?

Personally I'd rather have a refurbished phone as they get much more thoroughly tested than one that comes of the assembly line but thats up to you. No one here can speak for Apple so take it back and see what they say.

My apple iPhone logo keeps blinking time to time without switching on

My iPhone battery had run out and when I put it in to charge,after a few minutes the logo kept blinking and stopped but the phone didn't switch on. It's been blinking and staying for a while and going off all day through. I tried charging it,pressing the home button and sleep button together but nothing worked. It's been just 6 months since I purchased it and the memory is almost full,but it has important data that I haven't backed up. Please help

Did you try to restore it? If not, then do it first. If it doesn't work, then I guess it may be a problem with an iPhone itself. Anyway, your problem is strange, I have to say... Especially if it comes to the way you turn an iPhone on again. I still believe it should be a problem with a system, because that's what an iPhone needs to know how to turn on. If it turns on only in that untypical way, then I honestly guess that something is wrong with an iOS you have on your iPhone. Maybe try to reinstal it.

IPhone logo keeps reappearing as if restarting

I need serious help here...
So, I just FINALLY decided to update my iPhone 4 to iOS 7, and it told me that it needed to restart to install... I allowed it to, but now, it seems as if my iPhone keeps restarting. The Apple logo keeps appearing on the screen, then disappearing, then reappearing again... I NEED HELP HERE!!! Even when I plug my iPhone into my computer, neither my computer nor iTunes can detect it( the place where the icon for my iPhone usually is stays blank as if there was no device plugged in), so I can't continue the update or use the restore option...
Any help would be appreciated.

If you are developer, post to the developer forums.
If you are not a developer then you have an illegal copy of the software on your device. Good luck.

Possible causes of failure to connect to the update server:
1. Your antivirus is blocking access to Apple's servers.
2. Your phone is jailbroken.
3. Your computer has been used at some time in the past to jaibreak some iOS device (not necessarily the phone with the problem), and its network database was corrupted by the hacking software that was used.
4. Apple's activation servers are down (very rare, and never for more than an hour or so).
For 1. try disabling your antivirus.

There is an option to turn off the Auto-play when using the Facebook app. To make those changes, navigate to your home screen and then go to Settings > Facebook > Settings and you should see an option Auto-play and set it to off. I have provided a screenshot to show where the settings section for Facebook in the Settings app. The screenshot is for an iPhone but will look very similar on your iPad.

If your iphone logo is just flashing the 1st thing I would suggest is to plug into your computer. See if the phone is recognized by the computer. If so it most likely will ask you if you want to set it up or ask you if you wish to restore to store settings. If so say yes and this should bring back your phone

Ok, I tried to update facebook and facebook just spooled on title screen so I deleted the app. I tried to reinstall facebook app, but the **** thing got stuck on installation screen. I tried to reboot the phone and now I get nothing but the white iphone logo and it's not going to my homescreen. The logo is present for more than 2 minutes w/ no success. Is my phone borked?

My 3gs is currently doing the same thing. I have it plugged into my macbook, but it's not registering in iTunes. I haven't backed up my phone in a couple of months, so I'd hate to lose all that I've done between now and then. So I'm trying to wait a while with it plugged in to see if it miraculously recovers like ryan178. After about 10 minutes it went black on its own again and now is back to the apple screen. I have an 8am neurobiology class, and my phone is my only alarm, so this is super awesome since it's currently 2am. Really appreciate it facebook! (sarcasm)
