IPhone 6 not updating to iOs 8.3 either on phone or itunes

I have tried several times to update my iPhone 6, both via the phone and iTunes, but it never completes.
On the phone I get to the agree to terms press it and then nothing happens it remains in the terms and conditions!
On iTunes it commences to down load but increases to 11 hours and never completes stating the download has timed out.
I have tried both several times to no effect. Phone currently at iOs 8.13.
I have even reset my phone totally and it still does not update!
Any suggestions?

Did you check your security software settings, to make sure, that iTunes can contact Apple servers?

IPhone 3GS not updating to iOS 5

I have been trying to update my iPhone from iOS 4.3.5 to iOS 5. I have done the iTunes upgrade that was suggested on my Windows 7 computer. My phone would not restore. I would keep getting an error message 14 and the phone would not restore. Is any one else having this issue?

I went back to iOS 4.3.5. Lucky for me my netbook's iTunes was not updated. I plugged in my phone, did not upgrade the iTunes and it installed iOS 4.3.5. At least I got my phone working again. I tried the upgrade on both my Win7 pc and my Mac and got the same error. I hope that Apple addresses this issue soon. Please let us know you outcome with Apple.

Hi I got an Iphone 3GS on Vodaphone and got it unlocked so I can use it on Orange. My phone is currently on ios version 4.2.1 however when i plug it into my laptop it says you have the current softwear even though the newest is ios 6. It sounds like you have an iphone 3g, which will only go to 4.2.1

Be patient, many are experiencing it, me included. Give it some time.

That's correct, as iOS 4.2.1 is the end of the line for your phone. There are no further updates available.

If you only see this behavior with a few contacts, you may want to try these steps first:
If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, back up or forward important messages and delete your current messaging threads with the contact. Create a new message to the contact and try again.
If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, delete and recreate the contact from the Contacts app. Send a new message to the contact.

So? Your iPad is obviously a model then that supports iOS 8, and your iPhone is not. Why would you assume that two different devices would have to be compatible with the same iOS?

Anyone else had issues with phone network being unavailable on iPhone 4 since updating to iOS 5.0.1? My iPhone 4 is continually searching for a network and does not find my provider. I swapped SIMs with another iPhone 4 on ios 4 to confirm device problem.

I swapped SIM cards with another iPhone 4 running ios 4 and established this is a device problem, not a SIM card problem.

Does the device get any signal?
Sounds like the device may have had a hardware failure. If it is out of warranty, the only option is the Out of Warranty replacement.
AppleCare is only an option if it is still under the original warranty.

Did you do the Reset Network Settings as I described above?
There is no way to go back. You can try reseating your nanoSIM or replacing it. Or call your cell provider and have them check the provisioning on your phone.
Or Restore your iPhone from your backup in iTunes.

I have this problem too - and it is on a BRAND new iPhone 6 - I have definitively tracked the issue to the moment I upgraded to iOS 8.1.2 - and am beyond frustrated. I just tried again, no code comes up on the imac. Just says cannot back up this device with my "initials" because of an error. It's weird because my iphone has been connected to othert wifi sources in the past. I've looked through these forums and have tried multiple things like resetting the phone, resetting network, shutting off modem and router, nothing works. I have an apple airport extreme router too. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
