Iphone 6 plus 10/7 delivery date

Anyone with an iphone plus 10/7 delivery date actually get tracking info and updated tracking status to a 9/19 delivery?

I agree.  I have posted several times about this.  My order went through about 3:15 CST and my date on my email said 10/7 also.  I ordered the Plus 64 GB Gold phone.  I have to take a day off of work to be home to sign for the package and with my job, I have to give at least 48 hours notice.  I have read where people who ordered theirs later than mine, also having the 10/7 date getting tracking numbers for Friday.

    I'm in the same situation.  I was up trying to get on the Verizon page at 11:55, kept getting the ECPD error.  When finally got through, the Silver Iphone Plus 64 showed arrival of 9-19.  At every step of the process, it seemed that I was ordering a phone that would arrive on day1.  At no point did it say this was an estimate.  At no point did it say it might change.  In a big yellow box, it said "9-19".  Ordered it, then got confirmation email stating it should arrive at 9-19.   Seems like all should be good, right?  Order site said 9-19, I've got a confirmation email saying 9-19, done and done.
    Then I check the website, and suddenly it changed to 10-14?!?!?!?  I feel like this was a bait and switch.  I was able to pickup an iphone5 in a local store on launch day, and would not have locked myself into a preorder through Verizon if I had known this would happen!
    So, that leads back to the original questions.  Lets assume I walk into a Verizon store on 9-19, and there is an available iphone6 plus just sitting there, can I either get that phone as fulfillment of my pre-order.  Or, cancel my pre-order and buy that phone right then and there?

    I pre-ordered my iPhone 6 Plus (64GB Space Gray) on Sept 12th as early as I could (at 4:30 A.M. through the apple store app on my iPhone 5). I tried to order it earlier, but as many of us know the Apple store online was down. I was so very disappointed. During the checkout time, my estimated delivery was Oct 1 - Oct 6 and it would be available to ship in 7-10 business days. My email confirmation stated the same thing.
    This is also my first time I have ever pre-ordered an iPhone. My current phone is in pretty bad shape. The menu button popped off a couple weeks ago (it's currently being held on with scotch tape...lmao) and my screen freezes up all the time. I'm lucky if I can answer phone calls. Its not reliable at all to say the least. I have been trying to hold out for the new iPhone 6.
    I have been checking my order status relentlessly since I pre-ordered and of course, it still says "Processing Items", with the same estimated delivery date and shipping time. I'm am desperately hoping it arrives earlier than October 1st - October 6th?!
    Do any of you know if I will ONLY be getting my phone during Oct 1 - Oct 6 or do I have a chance of getting it earlier?
    Does anyone know where all they usually ship from?
    Do they usually ship via Fedex or UPS?

         Oct 1 - Oct 6 is usually conservative.  You will probably get it sooner.  You'll get another email when it ships.
    Does anyone know where all they usually ship from?
         Pre-orders were shipped from China for the same reason they are built over there cheap labor.  Apple will probably continue this until all early orders are filled.
    Do they usually ship via Fedex or UPS?
         Again pre-orders came UPS. No idea if they will continue to use them only.

    Has anybody that ordered their iPhone 6 Plus through Verizon actually gotten their phone yet? or even got a shipping confirmation email and tracking number? i pre ordered my 6 Plus 64gb Space grey on 9/17 and have a ship date of 10/31, my status on verizon still says order is in process.

    I ordered a 6plus silver 64gb on 9/13, day after preorders began and got an estimated ship date of10/28 at the time. I had iniated my order over the phone directly through verizonwireless on the day preorders began but because I was upgrading from a prepaid flip phone, I had to finalize my order on 9/13.
    I have continually checked the shipping date and it was moved up to 10/24 on their verizonwireless page. I called verizonwireless directly a few days ago and they said that shipments will begin on 10/16 for preorders, but it sounded like it was a pre-selected batch of orders with no information on which orders from which dates were in that batch. There are no guarantees on this. The reality is that there are more people who have ordered the phones than there are already manufactured phones to ship. They cannot specify an exact date of shipment because they ship phones to the world at this point and keeping up with the demand is a monumental feat. I can be objective and believe it will ship when it can but the subjective side of me wants my **** phone already. Next time (if there is one) I will just stand in line for one. This is my first iphone and this long delay in delivery is already leaving a bad taste in my mouth.

    I'm hoping someone with a crystal ball might be able to answer this question. I pre-ordered the iPhone 6 plus(Space Gray 64g) at 5:00am, on September 12th, from Apple.com. I'm still showing an estimated delivery time of October 13-20th. I've previously always pre-ordered, by phone, through At&T and had my phone delivered on launch day. Has anyone ever had their estimated delivery date "moved up? Or has anyone had it moved up on this iPhone launch? They claim to have sold out of phones, and people are told they must wait weeks/months but then suddenly everyone starts getting them. My iPhone 6+ pre-order had been stuck on Processing. Last night it suddenly went to Preparing to Ship. Right now it's on a plane from China due to be delivered this Thursday. But wait... I thought Apple was out of phones? They have a process only they know and I don't believe it any longer serves a purpose to pre-order.     I recently switched from T-Mobile to AT&T because everyone says it is "BETTER" i purchased the iphone 6 plus and got the 30gb family plan with 5 phone i am the one the uses the most data everyone else doesnt even use 1GB but i still got the 30 for me. For some reason my phone seems to use more than 1GB a day! When i was with T-Mobile in a month i would probaly use 17GB in a month and now at this rate i will go over my 30GB in less than a month. I have WIFI at home but when i had T-Mobile i would never even connect to it and now with AT&T everytime im home i use it and i still manage to use more than 1GB a day what is going on can someone help me?! Is this an AT&T problem or Apple?

    Keep in mind that the iPhone 4s screen is much smaller, so when your daughter watches any videos it downloads SD or possibly only the much smaller HD resolution videos, but the iPhone 6 has a much larger screen and will automatically download the much larger HD videos.  This means that just replacing the phone can increase her data usage from 200-300MB per hour of vdeo watched to over 1GB of data per hour of video watched.  That is a huge difference, and it is data that is really used, even though it doesn't seem like she's doing anythign differently than before.
    Also, if her iPhone was not plugged into external power the whole day, it wold turn off the wifi radio and her phone would revert to using cellular data in amny cases.  This is an Apple "game" they play in order to make their battery life numbers look bigger.  This one bites many kids as they want to stream their music all day long,but then the phone puts the svreen to sleep and turns off the wifi and they now start sucking up cellular data using that large LTE straw.

    so I just got off the phone with a vzw rep and she told me there have been some delays on the iphone 6 plus orders for the 10/24 But that they were the gold and silver models. I'm not sure what to believe form this lady but I specifically asked her if the orders for 10/31 iphone 6 plus 128gb space gray we're going to be delayed. She said they we're not affected And I should see my phone ship out by 10/31. Should I believe her? Smh

    Well I have been being told by 4 representatives today that my 6 was going to ship today.  Its a regular 6 not the plus and it in fact did not.  I just received the email stating it has been delayed.

  • Iphone 6 Plus shipped before estimated date

    After many website issues on the 12th I finally got my order in for a 6 plus 64gb in silver at 430am est.  I had to go through the business site since I am on my work's plan.  My order confirmation showed a 10/7 ship date.  Last night my order status finally went from processing to completed and this morning it showed a tracking number and a ship date of today.  Fedex shows they have picked it up and will deliver tomorrow!  I am pretty excited as I figured 10/7 was the absolute earliest it would come and planned on that date getting pushed back more.  Their is still hope that stock has been improving and you may get yours shipped early.

  • Is anyone else having problems with an iPhone 6 delivery date changing on them?

    I sat up until 12:01am to pre order (2) iPhone 6's and (2) iPhone 6 +'s and they had a delivery date of 9/19 for both of the phones at the time I logged on to Verizon's preorder site. The system would not allow me to log in as an existing customer but it would allow me to order as a new customer. I kept trying to order new phones as an existing customer on two different computers and three different browsers without any luck. I finally decided to order them as a new customer and the order went right through the Verizon system without any problem. Two minutes later I received an email from Verizon requesting that I call them as soon as possible to complete the order. I called in and spoke to a rep that explained that I already was an existing customer and that I would need to use the "Existing Customer" preorder link. I explained the issues I was having and she said that I would still need to use that system when it was available. So I tried the existing customer link and it now let me through but the date for the iPhone 6 plus had slipped to 10/7 (It is now 1:30 am). I completed the transaction and it stated 9/19 delivery for iPhone 6 and 10/7 for the iPhone Plus. However once I received the email confirmation it stated that the delivery date for the phones was 10/7. I called Verizon customer service and stated my concern about the later delivery date for the iPhone 6 and they told me that the iPhone 6's would arrive on the 19th and the pluses would arrive on 10/7 so I did not change my order. This morning 9/19 8:00am I called in to inquire about my shipping confirmation numbers for the (2) iPhone 6's and the customer service rep (Robanya) told me that he would call me back at 1:00pm PST and give me the shipping confirmation numbers. He asked specifically which phone number he should call me back on and I gave him my cell number. After not receiving a call back from Robanya, I called Verizon customer service at 5:30pm and spoke Ryan James and he confirmed that the orders were placed on the 12th of Sept and that one system showed all of them due to be delivered 10/7. After insisting that Robanya that I spoke with earlier in the day said they were shipping today, Ryan got off the phone for 5-10 mins and then got back on and said that the iPhone 6's shipped yesterday on the 18th but he did not have a confirmation number. After pressing him that someone should have this confirmation number in Verizon he stated that the delivery dates were subject to change and that all the phones would probably ship on 10/7 and left it at that.
    So after loosing sleep to pre order phones on Verizon, speaking with (3) different Verizon reps, I am rewarded by having my delivery date changed to 10/7 on my iPhone 6's which is the same delivery date they were quoting yesterday 9/18.
    Did any one else have the same disappointing experience that I had?

    Yes, pre-ordered iPhone 6 with a guaranteed delivery date of 19 September; took screen shots after the order just to have record of it.
    Called Verizon 18 Sept because I hadn't received a tracking number yet, and was informed my phone would now ship 7 October.  When I expressed that was different than what was promised and had proof, a manager came on the phone and confirmed that I should have a 19 Sept delivery date based on their records.  She told me however she could not confirm when my order would ship.
    19 Sept came and went with no phone delivery.  I have tried calling Verizon, posting here, and posting on their FB page for customer service.  Every rep I talked to (except for the first manager on 18 Sept) has been unable to admit that they mislabeled their product sales page, and mislead the customer.  One rep told me the guaranteed delivery date was an "estimate"; when I asked her to show me on the website where it uses the term "estimate", she admitted it didn't communicate that, but still was unable to utter the words "we made a mistake".
    VZW needs to take a 101 class in customer service and crises management; rule #1 is if you screw up, admit it!  I know I am not going to get my iPhone as promised, but pretending like there is nothing wrong with that customer service experience is just making things worse. Not a single employee I have communicated with to date has attempted to do anything proactive to correct or mitigate the customer failure.  I am truly amazed at how poorly VZW has been handling this to date; again (removed) happens with supply/demand, website errors, etc, but the failure to acknowledge how the screw up shafted a lot of (formally) loyal long time customers is criminal.

    I pre-ordered my iPhone 5 from Verizon on 9/18... the confirmation email says Delivery On:  10/5/2012.
    Later than I'd hoped but it will do.
    I've checked Order Status a couple times since, and Verizon's status report states, "Your order will ship by:  10/5/2012"
    Note the bait and switch.  I've been disgusted with Verizon for a long time, if it weren't for their coverage!
    So, it'll probably be another week later.
    By the way, the idea of "Contact Sprint to find the answer" -- are you kidding me?  At least with Verizon you can't find a person or an autobot on this kind of thing that knows a damned thing.  Customer Service is sort of like proclaiming Affordable Care... it isn't.

    I pre-ordered 2 iphone 6 plus phones on 9/12, when I ordered the ship date was 9/19, when I received my confirmation email the date was 10/7. When I check the order status online, there is no date and it says the order was processing. My credit card has still not been charged.     Agreed!!! As I stated earlier, I placed my order at approx 3:40-45am EST 12th for the Space Grey 64GB Plus. The VZW site was down for approx 30+ minutes right after 3am EST on the 12th as I started trying at 2:58am. That being said, I should have been good to go for the 19th. I even called and spoke to a rep at 4am EST and his exact words were, after he told me that even the VZW reps couldn't access their site for 30+ minutes  either" You are good to go for delivery on the 19th" and also that I was somewhere between first 300-400, , for whatever that is worth. My confirmation email that came in at approx 4:50am, showed the 7th for the delivery date for some reason. Why should I have to wait weeks when I placed my order so early? I don't believe that VZW's pre order allocation of 6+ 64GB phones ran out in what was approx 15-20 minutes of available ordering time.
    The story gets more interesting yesterday... late in the afternoon, I check my status with my pre order confirmation # and BOOM, up comes a tracking # that I  click on and it takes me to site FedEx. At that point I am am happier, but check back later and notice that the Order # doesn't match mine. (I kept the sites open in my browser) I called VZW and they tell me they don't know how I got that as it wasn't my order and mine is still sitting at "Your order is in process and Shipping Date - Not available at this time.  One of the CS  reps said I should feel lucky as my confirmation email states a deliver date of the 7th.  (BTW - That tracking # shows this morning that is destined to go to Hawaii, so obviously not mine) It wasn't showing the destination yesterday.
    That all being said, it may be time to cancel my order and leave Big Red. I've had my phone # and started with Bell Atlantic Mobile back in 1993 or 94, which went on to become Verizon. I stayed with them until the iPhone 3G came out and switched to AT&T. They were the only carrier with the iPhone at that time.  I went on to pre-order the iPhone 4 with AT&T a few years back and it went as smoothly as could be, I ordered as soon as the pre-order opened, got a confirmation email and my status never changed and I received the phone on the release date. I'm also tired of being treated like a lemming. I will also NEVER take part in a fiasco like this ever again., I realize it must be a logistical nightmare with tons of people clammering to buy these phones, but if you don't have any more available for pre order and delivery on the 19th, then say that and say, we are sold out of the 9/19 delivery date and that if you order, it will be back ordered, which is ultimately what has taken place.

    I ordered mine from Apple website on Sept 20. After standing in line at At&t store on the 19 and was told after they served 5 customers that they are out of iphone 6 plus. Went to another at&t store was told the wrong info on the delivery dates by THE MANAGER and waited in line another two hours to place my order only to find out the delivery date is longer than what Apple.com cites. So came home and ordered it online. Mine still says in processing with est delivery date Oct 21 - Oct 28. My daughter ordered her iphone 6 - 16gb four days after and will be getting hers today. My brother ordered his plus 16gb same day as I did and his is arriving today too. Mine is plus-space gray 64gb.
    No rhyme or reason to their shipping method. So I am just waiting
