IPhone 6 Plus lags when texting

My iPhone 6 Plus is extremely laggy when texting. Doesn't matter if it's in Mail, Messages, Safari or any other App.
What can be wrong? My iPhone 4S with the same iOS works like a charm...

Unfortunately the problem came back and is now even worse.
It comes and goes but the biggest problem seems to be in Safari. So far it has taken me about three minutes to write the two first sentences... However the last sentence took just a few seconds an now it's working properly again...
What can be wrong?

Then ask Verizon what the issue is and why there is no option for calendar.

So what that means is when you have Do Not Disturb turned on, you may have an alert depending on the setting and how you are using your iPhone. So if it is set to Always, then that means that no matter what, your iPhone will not be notified. If it set to Only while the iPhone is locked, then that means that you will not get notification when your iPhone is locked but you will get notifications if your iPhone is being used. Also keep in mind the settings All Calls From can be set to certain contacts like Favorites, Everyone or no one. If you are using Do Not Disturb and you do not need it, then turn it off.

Centro lags when texting and pushing buttoms

I've had my Centro for a few months now and have just dealt with this but it is extremely annoying and has been going on since I go the phone. When I push a button, there is a lag before it does anything. Sometimes I think I didn't push the button hard enough and push it again -- sometimes more than 2x. Then all of a sudden, it will respond to all three pushes and go somewhere I didn't want to go. I've noticed lags when I'm typing text, too. All of a sudden it will kind of freeze up and then it types out the whole word or words.
The battery is fully charged, I have a good signal, and I'm not running any third party software. I do not have an external memory card and don't have much on this phone except for my contacts & calendar (meaning no pictures, etc.) so I'm sure it's not a memory issue.
HELP!!!!

Usually when a device expierences slow downs it does relate memory issues. Not saying it is but we can try a couple things to see if it resolves your issue. First, try a soft reset. Just remove the battery and leave it out for a few seconds before placing it back in. See if that helps with slow downs.
If this does not work, check the avialable memory. To do so Go to the Applications (home) on the device > Open the menus (by tapping in the upperleft hand side of the screen or using the menu button on the keypad) > From the App menu, choose Info. The amount of free space you have left will be displayed at the top of your screen.
Keep me posted on how much memory you have and if the soft reset helps. If it does not we will move on to other steps. Thanks and have a nice day!

Iphone 3GS randomly freezing when texting..

I'm not sure if this is the start of an issue with my 3GS iphone or not. I know these things are a bit random and a few problems are to be expected.
But I've recently noticed (3 times on the trot today) when texting on the messages application that the phone occasionally becomes unresponsive and the touch pad freezes.
It's usually rectified just by hitting the refresh / sleep button but is this something others are experiencing or should I take a wander to the Apple shop at some stage just to be sure it's not a problem?
I will be keeping an eye on this for future reference...

IPhone lags when texting

Anyone else have this problem. When I try to send an SMS, it takes my iPhone 3G about 3/4 of a second from the time I hit a letter to the time it actually types it in the message. Not only that, but the letter I touch stays in the bigger format (extends out, whatever) for the whole time. If I try to type a webpage into Safari, it types normally.
Anyone else?

IPhone 6 stutters/lags when it vibrates

I got my brand new iPhone 6 about 2 weeks ago and noticed that - specifically when I'm playing a game - there is a 1-2 second lag whenever I receive a notification and it vibrates. When the notification is silent (such as Instagram) it runs smooth. Anyone else having the same issue? I've got an iPhone 6 running the latest OS update.

Your phone is setup from default with iMessage turned on. Your friends phone obviously isn't. I have a friend that has an iPhone 3G[S] with an old phone plan that didn't require a data package and he's just been swapping the sim card for 5 years. When he's at home, his phone is on wifi and it sends over iMessage. When he's at work on 3G the phone defaults back to text message because he doesn't have a data plan to send iMessage over. The phone isn't actually sending 2 messages. You send in iMessage and if the other phone is off of iMessage, it will resend to that phone as a green text message. That person never got the blue iMessage you tried to send because their iMessage wasn't working.

IPhone 4 locks up when text is received – help!

Hi, I'm hoping someone out there can help me with my dilemma. Frequently (but not always), when I receive a text when my iPhone is not in use, the home screen locks up and I cannot "slide to unlock." I can pull the screen up from the bottom with the shortcut options (camera, calculator, etc.), but then cannot pull it back down or do anything until I power the phone off and reboot it. When I reboot it it unlocks just fine. It's very annoying to have to do this several times a day, not to mention that the person who contacts me wonders why it takes me so long to reply (they don't know I'm having to do a reboot to just unlock the phone). If the phone is in use and unlocked when the text comes in then it doesn't freeze up at all.
Would appreciate it if anyone has suggestions on what the problem might be and how I could fix it. Thanks!

If restarting the device only serves as a temporary fix, then I would recommend moving on to the next troubleshooting step outlined in the article.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, or the if the screen remains black or shows a persistent Apple logo, try restoring with iTunes:
Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.
If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane. Learn more aboutrestoring iOS software.
If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try to force the device into recovery mode, and then restore it.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, contact Apple.

Video playback is always low quality on my iPhone 6 plus, even when connected to wifi

I Have Searched and couldn't find any answers. Everytime I play any video from any source the playback quality is terribly low. 240p would be my guess if not lower. It happens when connected to wifi or lte. It won't buffer to eventually stream in hd or 480p even. I've tried a restore, tried downloading a third party YouTube app and still no luck. The only succes that I've d is when streaming from twitch, I will get hd quality. Please help. Thanks!

I also happen to have T-Mobile, but the problem happened on WiFi as well as you mentioned and therefore didn't seem to be related to carrier.
I expect your videos are playing normally again like mine since yesterday morning. I guess it had something to do with the video codecs/standards being used by major video service providers like you thought, but I found it curious that so many different video sources beyond YouTube caused me the same problem during that time. I did find that Daily Motion worked fine when the other services weren't working, so I knew it had to be service (and what standards they were using) specific.
Still, how were there not tons and tons of other people experiencing this!? I had it happen on both my 6+ and my iPhone 4. Maybe there were other factors specific to my area/connection (outside of connection speed which was always fine) that resulted in it, but still...

Thank you so much, I was having this problem with a replacement Iphone 5 that was purchased from Apple today with iOS7 installed. I had no idea why this was happening as it didn't happen to my original iphone 5 when I installed iOS7.
Turning off documents and data in iCloud solved it straightaway. Really pleased, you saved me another trip to the genius bar!!

IPhone 3GS calibration off when texting

I have this problem about every 5-7 texts I send, or if they're long texts, every other one. The screen thinks I'm typing 2-3 letters off.. never the same letters and sometimes at wierd angles. I updated my software a couple weeks ago and started having this problem. Reset and reupdated, still having it. Anyone know a fix? If I back out of messaging and go back in it fixes it usually doing it once or twice. I've tried rebooting the phone and everything. Help!

Why does my iPhone 6 plus crashes when on certain websites on safari

mmy phone always crashes on certain websites whilst using safari. I have downloaded another browser and instead of crashing the whole phone it is only the browser that crashes. all my software is up to date and I have tried resetting the phone and nothing has helped. Also my pop up blocker doesn't work.. if anyone else has had this problem please help!!

Some kind of buzz/noise coming out of the desktop speakers when I connect my iPhone 6 plus to my desktop speakers. Help?

I have the iPhone 6 plus with the current update 8.02. As soon as I connect my phone to my desktop speaker jack, I can hear an intermittent, low-level buzz/noise coming out of the speakers. I've never experienced this noise with my iPhone 4S or my laptop connected.
Is this maybe a grounding issue with the phone? Could mine be defective?
I just tried a friend's 6 plus and his doesn't make the same noise.
