Iphone 6 Plus not pairing to 2013 Toyota

Can't pair my brand new iphone 6 plus, ios 8.02 plus, to my 2013 Toyota Highlander. Just keeps searching..... iphone 5s, ios7 connected with no problem, worked flawlessly for music and phone. Yes, I disconnected it before trying. Is this gonna require updated software in the car--which is unlikely to be something Toyota will do for free--or does Apple have a fix?

Apple would "not" replace my Iphone 5 till went to dealer and had my bluetooth on u connect system updated. Advisor acted like I just come from the planet Mars when I told him what I needed. So a tech advisor went with to my vehicle and connect his 4S then went and about a minute flat "paired" my iphone 5! I seen him go through a step that even the manufacter's manual did not even mention to "pair" an iphone using bluetooth! I then asked what he had done and so he showed me to successfully start the "pairing" process the four digit code he used for the u connect and on the iphone screen came up displaying u connect and just to the right it says "not" paired. I had been there around twenty times myself! He then pressed the "not paired" display and when he did the keypad popped up and the advisor put in the "same" four didgit code that he originally had used to start the pairing in uconnect and then press the "complete or done" button on the iphone keypad after doing this the u connect displays "pairing process has begun" and less than a minute it did! All the phones including my 4GS I "never" had to do that and I had "never" had a pairing problem before so to me it must the new IOS 6 system!

IPhone 4s will not pair with car bluetooth

My new iphone 4s will not pair with the bluetooth in my 07 Volvo XC70. The blue tooth is after market, looks similar to internet photos of Motorolla T605. Blue tooth says to put in scan mode and then enter code when prompted. Pairing fails and then the screen for the code shows up on the phone.
I had a iPhone 3s paired with this Bluetooth, and once when I did a reset of that phone had this issue, put through many attempts it eventually paired. Despite many attempts, I cannot get the 4S running IOS 5 to pair.
The phone does pair with a motorolla bluetooth ear piece.

I've been having this issue since I got an iPhone 4S last week. (Upgraded from iPhone 4 on iOS 5.0.1)
I would think that this is a software issue but I went ahead and visited an AT&T store to see about a replacement phone. I was directed to go to an Apple store which I then did. I explained this bluetooth issue I was having as well as the other issue with no audio on outbound calls (described in a different thread) and they gave me a new phone.
Well, I've tested it several times now with the nav/handsfree systems in two different cars as well as with my headset. All is good so far! No drop of bluetooth connection, can switch at will between audio sources and no lack of audio on outbound calls any more. (And these problems were happening frequently before, even after a complete restore.)

Got a new iphone 6 plus and now it won't pair with my car. Iphone 5 worked fine. Iphone 6 sees the device but never gets to a connection so i can enter the passcode.

Yes, I do all the time, listening to the Music app and my NPR app in my Prius. I needed to go to Settings/Bluetooth then the iPhone settings in the car and enable that feature.

Why is my iphone 6 plus not connecting to my mac?

I had/have the same problem but it doesn't really matter. It seems you cannot actually pair iPhone and Mac devices in the usual way. You just need to have Bluetooth active on both devices then any app that needs them paired does it on the fly. So, Handoff, SMS, Calls, Airdrop etc. work OK without you having to manually pair the devices - just carefully follow the instructions in MAC Help. You need IOS 8 (maybe IOS 8.1 - not sure) on your phone and Yosemite on your Mac and Bluetooth active on both.
I wish the iMac Help actually explained the Bluetooth part It would have saved me a lot time playing around.

Bluetooth on my iphone 4s will not pair with my car anymore

This phone has worked with the bluetooth in my car for over a year. In the past 2 weeks it cannot find the device. I reset the phone and it worked fine for the past 3 days. Now it won't find the device again and resetting did not help either..... can anyone help me or do I need to go to the Apple Store?

I don't think that is the problem. I bought two iphone 4 from Verizon yesterday(Jul 6, 2011) with 2 hands frees.
I also have a built in car hands free with my Toyota Rav4.
So I started pairing bluetooth devices. One phone has no problem at all.
The other phone could succeed to pair one hands free, very slowly.
Then, it did not recognize either hands free no. 2 or toyota bluetooth.
I removed hands free #1 from the phone #2, and turn bluetooth switch then restarted - no recognizing device
I put phone #2 on dash board and restarted again - no recognizing device
I put phone #2 on cup holder, then restarted again - no recognizing device
Phone # 1 does not have any problem at all with all 3 hands free system.
I also recognized that phone #2's connectivity is quite slower than phone #1's. It also dropped several times in an hour I tried to buy some apps.
At that time I put phone #2 on the table, so it is not because of "death grip."
Both phone #1 and phone #2 are using iOS 4.2.6, so it cannot be solved by "software update."
I strongly suspect some hardware problem called 'lemon.'
People who spent their time and money updating software and changing bluetooth devices including hands-free should be compensated.
I think that the only solution is replace to a new iphone which is not a lemon.

IPhone 6 plus not possible to add recipient to messages

I have an iPhone 6 Plus. A big display that I thought would add great possibilities to the iPhone. But among other issues there is one annoying issue that sticks out:
when I try to forward a picture from another message, or try to send a picture from the pictures app, it is impossible to add recipient to the message that I want to send. You can see this on the picture I've added to this post. I use the Swype keyboard, as I simply find it far better and more usable than the standard keyboard. Could you, Apple, please make this work? So I don't have to open the messages app and create a new message and adding recipients before I can add picture?
Another issue is that often the keyboard will not show when I open the messages app to answer a message. I then have to manually close the app and reopen it in order for it to show the keyboard.

Thanks for the question. If I understand correctly, the iPhone is not restoring from an iCloud backup. Is it that the process is taking a long time to finish? I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help you isolate or resolve the issue.

Vs950 intuition will not pair to my new 2014 Tundra. Dealer, Toyota Tech and local Verizon Wireless store could not help. Tundra will connect toother phones, phone was paired to the 2011 Toyota Tundra I traded in.

Congrats on the new vehicle, erohal. I know how important it is to stay hands-free and safe while you're driving. What happens when you try to pair your phone to your new Tundra? When you worked with Toyota, did they indicate if the Intuition had been tested for compatibility with their newer Bluetooth system?

IPhone 6 Plus not downloading software update through device once "agree"ing to terms

So i have a software issue with my iPhone 6 Plus. When iOS 8.1 was released i tried to download the update through my device, once i "agree" to the terms and conditions it just stays on that screen. Its not frozen, i can exit by clicking the menu button. It just doesn't progress on to the "verifying update/downloading/installing" steps. I thought this was just a software issue at that time. So the only way i could update was via iTunes on my macbook.
Then when iOS8.1.1 was released i had the same issue, it wouldn't progress to the downloading after i clicked "agree" to the terms and conditions. I then updated through my macbook again. My girlfriends iPhone 6 Plus and my iPad air has no problems downloading the software

I have the same problem on my iPhone 5s. I KNOW I have free memory but my phone is too acting crazy!! It's saying I don't have any memory left and my phone keeps closing the apps because there isn't enough memory for them to function.

Iphone supports bluetooth for stereo headsets/speakers, handsfree telephone devices/headsets, some peer-to-peer apps from the app store, sone keyboards, and tethering where provided by the carrier.
Other than this it will not connect to any computer/device/phone.

IPhone 6 plus not getting right iTunes account when updating apps

New iPhone 6 plus. I have iTunes store and app store logged in to the right iTunes accounT. However, when I try to update apps it is asking me to sign into a different iTunes account I don't have the pasword for and don't want to use (my Mac book used to be my sisters...my phone is trying to log in to her iTunes when I update apps). Any idea how I can make it pick up the right account?

Whose account downloaded those apps ? If you copied from them your sister's computer and she downloaded them onto that computer then they will be tied to her account - you will need to delete the apps from your phone (which will delete their content) and redownload them on your account for you to be able to download future updates on them on your account

IPhone 6 Plus not syncing its photos with iTunes

I would like to sync all the pix and videos taken with my iPhone 6 Plus to my iTunes on Windows 7 using wifi.
I have checked the appropriate boxes but all it did was to create the iPhone photo cache folder in the designated folder on my Win 7 box. I have also tried syncing manually when the iPhone was connected using the USB cable but no dice.
- Automatically sync when this iPhone is connected is CHECKED
- Sync with this phone over Wi-Fi is CHECKED
- The iPhone and my computer both of plenty of space
- All patches have been applied to both the iPhone and the computer
- iTunes is the latest version
- There are approx 900 pix and videos combined and all have been taken with this phone
- My Windows 7 box is connected to my LAN via an Ethernet cable
- My iPhone is connected to my home network
Am sure the question has been beaten to death...so apologies in advance.

You don't sync photos taken on your iPhone.
To get them there attach your iPhone to a USB port on the PC. The iPhone should be recognized as a Camera and you can then load the photos to your PC.
If you would like to do this wirelessly there are Apps like Photo Transfer which will do the job.
