If your screen is still not rotating as it should, I would recommend the troubleshooting in the following article:
If the screen doesn't rotate on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Check for in the status bar. If you see this icon, Orientation Lock is on. To turn it off, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to reveal the Control Center and tap .
If you have an iPhone 6 Plus, turn off Display Zoom to rotate the Home screen.
If you have an iPad with a Side Switch, turn the Side Switch on or off.

If you checked your settings and your screen still doesn't rotate when using an app that should (like the Calculator app), follow these steps:
Restart your iOS device.
If the screen still won't rotate, back up and restore your device.

After restore I did restore from back up only, as I didn't want to end up without contacts details on my phone. If I restore as new device how do I get my all contacts? So I have been using my iPad for a few months now and I recently noticed that the time display next to the playlist name in the music app that is supposed to display the total song count and time of a playlist is way off. I have a 25 song playlist that is around 2 hours on my computer appears as 2003 minutes on my iPad. It's a smart playlist limited to 25 songs if that makes any difference. Is this happening to anyone else? Any help would be appreciated!

First make an iCal backup, File > Export > Archive.
Remove the following to the trash and restart your computer:
Home > Library > Caches
Home > Library > Calendars > Calendar Cache, Cache, Cache 1, 2, 3, etc. (Do not remove Sync Cache or Theme Cache)
Home > Library > Preferences > com.apple.ical (There may be more than one of these. Remove them all.)
__NOTE: Removing these files will remove any shared (CalDAV) calendars you may have access to. You will have to re-add those calendars to iCal > Preferences > Accounts.
Once the computer is back up and running open iCal and test.

Can I purchase an unlocked iphone 6 plus which is cheaper in the USA for use in the UK? Apple said "no" but being a cynic wanted confirmation that this isn't just marketing salesmanship. They said LTE won't work in the UK.

Iphone 6 plus heats up while playing games like Asphalt 8 and GT racing 2
When ever i try to play games on my iphone 6 plus 16 GB the back of the cover heats up immediately. I had updated the OS to 8.1.3 and resoted it from itunes as per the advisor suggestion from Apple but no solution till now. Can any one let me know if they are facing the same issues with their phone. Is hardware issue ? Pl help
As pointed out its because the processor is being used hard which in turn generates heat. Any computer will do the same thing. Do you have a case on the phone? If so remove it. The heat can dissipate quicker. There's nothing wrong with the phone or software.

Games keep crashing since recent updates

I've had no problems before with playing games (mostly via Steam), however, since recent OS X updates I'm lucky if I can get more than 2 minutes of game time in before the game decides to freeze or crash.

I'd reboot to clear out some temp and cache files.
Have you checked with the game developers to see if you've got the latest version that is compatible with Yosemite? -
Impossible to unlock iphone if the device I synced with is now broken?????
I have a locked iPhone and the laptop I originally set it up with is now broken and has no Internet access. I can't work out how to restore my phone to unlock it, I have tried using an iPad or MacBook but says I can't do that until the phone is unlocked as it is not the original device I synced with.
Not sure what the problem is here. Have you forgotten your unlock code? Are you trying to restore your phone from iTunes? Just trying to get some details here.
And if your laptop is broken does that mean that you cannot turn your laptop on? Or just no internet access?
If the laptop still works without internet you should be able to start iTunes and connect the phone to it using the sync cable.

I tried to update to IOS6 and then it asked me to connect to itune. The I got an error message when I restore my phone. right afte the phone crashed. When I tried to restart the phone with pressing the button on the top and the navigating botton for a few second, all came up was a blank blue screen. Please help!

Iphone paired with ipad for 2 days and now won't discover it anymore
My Iphone paired with my Ipad2 via bluetooth and was working great for a couple of days then it suddenly stopped. Now everytime I try to connect them again my iphone 3g os3.1.3 no longer discovers my Ipad or ANY devices within range. I have restarted it several times, made sure that the bluetooth on both devices is turned on, and have tried a hard reset but it still no longer works. I am not sure why it suddenly stopped and I have been pouring over forums for hours and gotten no closer to getting my devices paired again!

I am utilizing a radio station app while doing this. It used to work before the upgrade. I could listen all day long, but know when the screen locks or when I hit the home button the station stops.
You'll need to check on the web portal for the email provider as to whether they use POP, IMAP or both.
If you are using POP, that protocol isn't designed for access from more than one device.
The default behaviour for POP is to delete the messages from the server once the email has been downloaded to a PC. IMAP stores everything on the server and the client just caches a copy.
