IPhone 6 Plus Screen Not Rotating in Text Message Mode
Brand new 6 Plus, and it seems about half the time when I click in the "message" portion to start typing a text and rotate the phone on it's side 80 percent of the time it does not rotate into Landscape "horizontal" mode, but stays in Portrait mode "vertical". Screen Lock is not on. I do not have large text or large screen size on. I have turned the phone off and on. I have reformatted the phone twice and started fresh with a new 8.1 install. As an avid emailer/texter and someone who relies on their phone for their business, I am hoping to find a solution soon.
I've also experienced this same problem using snapseed. It's really frustrating to use the app.

IPhone 6 plus - screen not rotating when waking up from sleep
I just got a 6 Plus and I'm having issues with the screen rotation. It seems to be reproducible and I have the view set to standard and I have tried a factory reset.
If I have the phone in portrait mode and put it to sleep. That mode seems to stick. As an example, I can hold my device in landscape mode and unlock it but the app will not automatically switch to landscape. It will stay stuck on portrait. I have to move the device to portrait and then back to landscape to get the correct orientation. Any ideas on how to fix this?Also when it wakes up from sleep the screen flashes, don't think its supposed to do that.

My iPhone 4 will not send photo text messages
my ipnone 4 suddenly won't send photos in a txt msg. I've tried rebooting but no luck. It worked fine the other day.
Reset network settings in Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings.
Sometimes something hinky goes on with the cell coverage, and that's one way to try to fix it. -
Downloaded iOS7 on my 4S. Mostly went well, but sometimes screens lock up (especially text, but also Settings). Find I cannot access and send texts sometimes, plus do not receive some texts from others (group messages real problem). Any work around? And related problem: Getting told can not connect to network when trying to sign on with Apple ID to launch Facetime and Messages.
I've restarted several times. If I restore from backup, unfortunately the backup was done after iOS7 downloaded. Now, am I wrong that "restore as new" will essentially wipe me out? If so, and having backup, you're saying essentially start over and then backup?

My Iphone 4 will not send regular SMS messages. I have tried resetting my phone and by restoring and making sure i have SMS turned on. I receive them but can not send them. imessages work also. Plus my cellular data keeps randomly turning off. any ideas? Thank you
Yes I have turned imessage off a number of times and that does not seem to he doing the trick, and it is not delivering them then I have to press on the photo and either chose try again or send as text message, I have had the setting on to not allow sending pictures as texts (so they can only send as imessage) since I got my phone in January and it has always worked until now, I have turned that off to allow me to send them as picture messages now but it's still not working over iMessage, I have also tried it using 3G and not wifi

I recently switched from my iphone to a samsung Galaxy S4, trading in my iphone. I now can not send/receive text messages from any iphones to my galaxy S4. Since I traded the iphone in, I can't access it to make any changes. Any ideas?

When i try to send a picture with imessage to an another iphone it's sends it with text messages (not all the times but often) and it takes a lot of time ! Who could I fix this ?

guitarist youngFor Instagram you can try and uninstall and reinstall the app and see if that fixes it. But if not you can try and resetting all settings, Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings.

You can not retrieve a deleted message that was not synced.
There are data recovery services that "may" be able to retrieve the message.
These recovery services can cost $1000 or more though. -
My husband and I both have Iphone 4's. I do not receive any text messages that he sends me. He gets mine though. He sends texts to other iphone users and they get them. I get text messages from other phones including iphones. Please help.
Both of yall need to go to settings, meassages, send and recieve, scroll down to start new conversation from, and make sure you have different email addresses with a check mark beside it. Right now sounds like they are the same email addresses.

How can I turn off the home screen preview of SMS/text messages on my new Iphone 3GS ?
Go to Settings>Messages and choose "No" under "Show Preview" which will hide the text part of the SMS/text message but still will pop up on who its from and just says "text message" on it.
Other than this there is not a complete way to disable the notification. -
Have been told if you use the same itunes account on two iphones, you will receive each others text messages, is this true?
you can use the same itunes id for purchases and so on, but have separate icloud id's for imessaging and all the icloud stuff. it's not preferable, but it isn't a problem either.

You can send a message through an email gateway so that it appears as a text on someone's phone. However, it's not their regular address. For example, for a Verizon customer, it would be [email protected] Perhaps that's what you're thinking of?

When using spotlight search my phone will not show all text messages with a common word even though I have not deleted any messages from my phone and I have the message search turned on in settings under spotlight search. The search only shows the messages that are recent within the past day or so. Why won't it show the other messages when I search for them even using a specific word that I know was in the message I'm searching for.

It sounds like you are not getting notifications for new text messages that are coming in, and you must manually check the app. I recommend checking the Notification settings to see if they are configured correctly:
