IPhone 6 Plus Shipment Times Per Verizon

I am now convinced that Verizon Wireless has no idea what is happening. Now the latest info I'm getting from two reps now is that if you ordered a 6 plus between 3am and 314am, you will get the phone on the 19th. If your ordered between 315am and 7am, you will get it Oct 7th. Now I ordered at 310am, yet my confirm email still says 10/7, and no info is available in the order portal. Furthermore, most of the reps aren't even aware of this information until you ask them about it, which then makes them check, put you on hold, and then come back and tell you "okay that's true". All I can say is wow. Even crazier is that people who did order between the timeframe which would designate a October 7 date, have actually got tracking numbers for September 19th. This phone roll out has been an epic disaster. I've never seen so much disinformation and disorganization in a customer service department before. Truly disappointed.

You see. This is ridiculous. Talk about unreal. They have no idea what is going on.

    Hello Everyone,
    I was wondering if anyone, anyone at all has heard anything about updated stock that apple in sending out to AT&T (the carrier I pre ordered through) to distribute on the 19th. I woke up and pre ordered mine by 3:02am eastern time and I was one of the first (I'm assuming with alot of other people) that pre ordered online.
    I received an email saying that my credit card was having issues processing. The reason being is because my sister is primary on our account and when I entered my credit info, my address didn't line up with hers and that's why it was declined. I have been in contact with AT&T for two days straight (Friday I was on the phone with them for 8 hours to resolve this). I finally got through to someone who updated the credit info and he said it went through. Well it didn't because I got ANOTHER email saying the credit card was having issues. I had to enter through their auto mated system the new credit card again and it was finally accepted after I did that Saturday morning.
    My projected shipments dates are 11/09 - 11/23 due to the delay in the credit card going through and the incompetence of an AT&T customer service agent.
    This whole thing is so upsetting and I'm praying and hoping (with about a 1% chance) that my dates update since I was one of the first to pre order and I can get mine iphone 6 plus alot sooner.
    To reiterate again, has anyone heard anything about how big of a shipment is coming in this week for the Iphone 6 plus 64gb phones?
    Any help will be useful. I'm just very upset with this whole thing.

    The only people that might have that information are employees of AT&T - and the likelihood of one of them being here and being able to/willing to share that information is slim to none.
    What has happened to me in the past is I'll see my shipping date get bumped earlier as people cancel their orders and/or more devices are shipped over.
    Unfortunately, all you can do at this point is wait and see.

  • IPhone 6 Plus Shipment Concern

    Ok...I ordered my new iPhone 6 Plus as soon as I got access to the App Store, which was about 2:23 am CST.  I completed my order within 5 minutes, so I really think my order was among the first received by Apple.  Confirmed delivery by 9/19, so everything should be cool.  My concern is, however, that when I check my order online, it says "Preparing For Shipment, Delivery by 9/19". It has shown that since last Friday afternoon.  My order was processed fast, but I don't have any confirmation that it has shipped yet.  I've read reports that shipments are arriving in Alaska/Chicago, so shouldn't my order show as "Shipped", if I'm to get it in less than 48 hours??  I'm just really nervous that something goody is going on.  What have you guys/gals heard??  Thanks, Mike

    Your order likely has already shipped if your expecting your phone on September 19th. Apple seem to be lacking on the notifications. My order has the same status but it has already shipped. Thankfully I found a article from the iPhone 5 release that helped me track down my package it works! To look up your tracking number:
    Go to the UPS Tracking webpageand click “Track By Reference”
    Enter the phone number used for ordering the iPhone 6, enter the delivery date range, enter the delivery country (USA), and your delivery zip code, then click “Track”
    Voila, your pre-order tracking number is revealed as is the current location of your iPhone 6
    If you’re obsessive like many of us, you’ll probably want to save that tracking number so you can refresh it constantly on the 19th

    Ok my order for the iPhone 6 Plus (Gray 128GB) on Apple Online Store (Australia) has finally shipped today (7th October). They gave me a tracking number on the Order Status page, and clicking on the Tracking Shipment link (http://www.tnt.com/webtracker/tracking.do?respLang=EN&respCountry=AU&searchType= CON&cons=160260408&navigation=1) showed the package has been delivered, in CROATIA!. What is going on here? I'm in Melbourne Australia

  • IPhone 6 plus shipping times Verizon PLEASE HELP

    OK, I am BEYOND frustrated.  Now I am being told the ship times for the iPhone 6+ were ALWAYS October 14.  No updated info available still on the status page, when I ordered at 3:35 AM EST on the 12th it said the 19th as a delivery, the confirmation screen once the order was complete was the 19th and now this online order dept is trying to tell me I am wrong??????  I have screen shots and emails from you.  I am a customer of almost 20 years and this is how I am treated?  I don't have one line, I have mutliple lines, bought multiple phones, bill is ALWAYS paid ahead of schedule and in full.
    I posted yesterday but did not get any joy from verizon rep responding, well I am asking now, I need someone who can provide correct answers and PROOF.  I want to see detailed accurate information.
    As you can tell I am angry, and rightfully so.

    I want to thank you for your responses.  I would like to be clear on both of your responses, to the first response I know it is just a phone, and the only thing my post has to do with a phone (iPhone in particular) is that I also pre-ordered and I happened to be preordering the same phone a few hundred thousand other people were ordering as well.
    To both your 1st and 2nd response, my post issue is about the lack of accurate information, the copious amount of inaccurate information and the inability to get a consistent explanation and understanding as to what is going on.
    It doesn't matter when the order process opened, how many people are completed before me or after me.  The system is automated (or at least it is suppose to be) and when your system provides information then it is inferred accurate and true.  When your system sends mixed messages, then trying to get the accurate information should not be subject to ridicule.
    This is a forum, where community members come to let out their mindset and that is all I did.

  • Where can I buy an unlocked iPhone 6 plus?

    I want to buy iPhone 6 plus (factory unlocked) since I am an international student and might return to the UAE by 2016. I should be able to use my phone in the UAE as well with my local SIM card.
    My options are:
    T-mobile version on Apple.com (almost everyone on all the Apple forums has confirmed that it is unlocked). However, I stumbled upon the following article and got confused:

    Since I'm not a techie, I wanted to know does this mean there is some defect in the device itself or it is carrier related?     One of the Verizon representatives confirmed that the phone will be locked for a year to Verizon (ALLSET plan is the one I want to go ahead with and they said I can) and then I can request for it to be unlocked. I will definitely be here in the US for at least another year. So even if I return to Dubai after that, the device should be unlocked so that I can use it there with my local SIM card. I have confirmed with them that it is a GSM device. However, when I spoke to another representative, he told me that it is factory unlocked and I got confused because two different representatives from the same company are giving me two different answers.
    I can wait for iPhone to release the unlocked version of the phone but their representatives are not too optimistic about the date so I am very confused at this point and would appreciate any help.

    Only T-Mobile sells them. But you cannot unlock it until you have used the T-Mobile service for at least 40 days. The phone may be off-contract, but it is not unlocked. Don't expect one from Apple until next year sometime, maybe.

    Has anybody that ordered their iPhone 6 Plus through Verizon actually gotten their phone yet? or even got a shipping confirmation email and tracking number? i pre ordered my 6 Plus 64gb Space grey on 9/17 and have a ship date of 10/31, my status on verizon still says order is in process.

    I ordered a 6plus silver 64gb on 9/13, day after preorders began and got an estimated ship date of10/28 at the time. I had iniated my order over the phone directly through verizonwireless on the day preorders began but because I was upgrading from a prepaid flip phone, I had to finalize my order on 9/13.
    I have continually checked the shipping date and it was moved up to 10/24 on their verizonwireless page. I called verizonwireless directly a few days ago and they said that shipments will begin on 10/16 for preorders, but it sounded like it was a pre-selected batch of orders with no information on which orders from which dates were in that batch. There are no guarantees on this. The reality is that there are more people who have ordered the phones than there are already manufactured phones to ship. They cannot specify an exact date of shipment because they ship phones to the world at this point and keeping up with the demand is a monumental feat. I can be objective and believe it will ship when it can but the subjective side of me wants my **** phone already. Next time (if there is one) I will just stand in line for one. This is my first iphone and this long delay in delivery is already leaving a bad taste in my mouth.

    I'm in the same situation.  I was up trying to get on the Verizon page at 11:55, kept getting the ECPD error.  When finally got through, the Silver Iphone Plus 64 showed arrival of 9-19.  At every step of the process, it seemed that I was ordering a phone that would arrive on day1.  At no point did it say this was an estimate.  At no point did it say it might change.  In a big yellow box, it said "9-19".  Ordered it, then got confirmation email stating it should arrive at 9-19.   Seems like all should be good, right?  Order site said 9-19, I've got a confirmation email saying 9-19, done and done.
    Then I check the website, and suddenly it changed to 10-14?!?!?!?  I feel like this was a bait and switch.  I was able to pickup an iphone5 in a local store on launch day, and would not have locked myself into a preorder through Verizon if I had known this would happen!
    So, that leads back to the original questions.  Lets assume I walk into a Verizon store on 9-19, and there is an available iphone6 plus just sitting there, can I either get that phone as fulfillment of my pre-order.  Or, cancel my pre-order and buy that phone right then and there?

    I Pre-ordered my Iphone 6 plus 16gb space gray. The morning of the pre-order being available. First it told me a date of 10/14 for delivery. One day later it changes saying that the date is not available at this time. Is there anyone at Verizon that can look this up for me. It is pretty pointless to have a pre-order that does not actually come out on release day.

    I DID remove a lot of Crashing App's & Updated & Restarted & Shut Down my Apple iPhone 6 Plus 128GB & it kinda Fixed the problem, i think after another Update I Won't have that problem anymore.
