Iphone 6 plus shipping and fedex

Does Verizon have any recourse with Fedex when shipments are not delivered by the estimated date? The shipment of my iPhone 6 Plus was supposedly on 9/27 out of Memphis for delivery on 9/30 (2nd Day Fedex). Checking the tracking today (9/30) and it shows that it just left the Memphis Fedex facility. A friend of mine received the same notification of shipment from Memphis, and his arrived today as scheduled.
btw, I have no idea where this post should have went. Sorry if it's in the wrong place.

Yes if they have it. You have a 14 day worry free period to do so. You can also call in for exchange but they'll charge you for it until it arrives back at their warehouse and charge falls off.

Take all of this with a grain of salt. The internet tends to blow all issues of this nature out of proportion, regardless of who is doing the manufacturing. If you check out the various tech news sites, they're all reporting from the exact same sources. All total, I think I've found reference to half a dozen actual people complaining about this, but because it's Apple and because it's a brand new product, the hype (and hysteria) are excessive. It's "click-bait", a way to get people to their sites and to drive up click rates and thus advertising and revenues.
Even if you assume that these 6 people actually represent 1,000 other users who aren't speaking up, that's still only a few percent of the actual number of folks who bought these devices. It's not statistically significant.
If you're really concerned, then spend a few bucks extra and buy Apple Care. Or pay for your carrier's device insurance plan. Both will cover replacing the phone, and that's assuming that Apple doesn't acknowledge a more widespread issue and offer replacements.
My guess is that either the people involved have actually been subjecting their devices to more stress than they realize. Or, worst case, there is a batch (or set of batches) that do actually have a flaw in materials. This is speculation on my part, but it's unlikely that they would have an overarching design flaw that truly affects a statistical majority of users.
Buy the device of your choice and enjoy it. Don't worry about things that might never happen.

There isn't currently any music, films or TV programmes available in the South Korean store, so you will only see iTunes U in the iTunes store app. You can't use the US store unless you are in the US, you have to be in a country to use its store (that is in the Store's terms) - so whilst you are in South Korea you can only use the South Korean store.
Are there other music purchase download sites in South Korea that you could use ? You can also copy your CDs via your computer's iTunes

when should i expect my new iphone to ship? I ordered it on 9/19 and it still shows 11/7 as expected delivery, however countless people have already received theirs ahead of schedule. I click on my order status and it says the order does not exist in your system. I really hope my order has not been deleted or otherwise skipped over. Any information or an update on an expected shipping date for the 6 plus 64gb phone would be amazing.

Lost iPhone in shipping

My iphone 4 broke(couldn't hear phone calls) and I sent it to Apple for repairs or replacement as it was under warranty. Shipped the phone UPS and Apple confirmed they received it. Phone couldn't be repaired per Apple so they shipped me a replacement via FedEx which I was suppose to have received Jan 5th, 2012. As of today, still no replacement phone. Over ten calls to Apple, which every time I have to re-explain my entire issue. Apple has blamed FedEx and FedEx says Apple is responsible. I'm SO disappointed and Angry!! Apple should send me another phone and they should file the complaint with FedEx. Why am I just out of my iPhone? Anyone else had this happen??

Yes...received a tracking number for FedEx from Apple. iPhone was picked up by FedEx in Middleton, PA on Jan 5th and that's the last info FedEx has on the package. It was being shipped to me in Louisiana. Apple says its Fedex's responsibility, which I get! But FedEx won't fill a claim for me cause I'm not the shipper so back to Apple and then Apple says they will file a claim with FedEx and FedEx will contact me. Well let's just say that's the first couple of my phone calls...countless calls(that I made not received from either Apple or FedEx!) and still no iPhone or contact whatsoever and its been over a month!

So i ordered my iphone the 14th and i was told i was suppose to receive it the 26th.... when i tried tracking it yesterday it said my order has been received and gave me a expected shipping date for the 26th.. now it doesnt give me a expected shipping date and says your order has been sent for processing. i still dont have a tracking number or a expected shipping date now. anyone have the same problem?

I ordered mine within 30 minutes of them going on sale and got shipping notification on the 17th with arrival date of Friday the 21st -- waited ALL DAY for it and at 4 pm, status on fedex changed to "future delivery requested" and when I called fedex, was told they had soooo many deliveries from Verizon that some had to be delayed until Monday -- Fedex should have to refund any shipping charges that were paid to them by Verizon --there is no excuse for this -- it isnt like they didnt know these were shipping -- RIDICULOUS -- now, I am hoping for Monday -- we'll see

Complaint about Verizon and FedEx. I ordered an iPhone 6 plus. The phone was to be delivered today to the house and requires a signature. So the FedEx guy leaves a sticker stating that I could call the FedEx customer service to have it picked up at their secure facility OR sign the sticker and leave it on the door and they would leave it on the unsecured front porch (did I say UNSECURED?!).
So I call FedEx as instructed on the door sticker to arrange pickup at the FedEx facility Friday. I am told that I CANNOT pick it up at their secure facility because of "Verizon's restrictions". However, if there are 3 unsuccessful attempts to deliver, then I can pick it up at their facility. So its OKAY? to leave it on the porch UNSECURED, bit I can't pick it up at their secured facility? So I can't SCHEDULE a pickup at their facility, but if they are unable to deliver it, then I HAVE TO pick it up at their facility. What the heck?

I saw one response on a forum that stated "if they deliver one time you can ask FedEx to hold at their facility". As stated above, THIS IS NOT AN OPTION until after 3 delivery attempts, then its automatically held until pickup. So looks like I won't be able to pick up my iphone 6plus until Monday night.

I have always been able to pick up a Verizon delivery after the 1st failed attempt. I have tried to make arrangements to pick it up before the 1st attempt, but was told they have to attempt delivery 1 time. After that, I can pick it up at the facility.

If you don't have a backup then the only possible solution is to go back to the store and see if they can get your old phone and create a backup of that. I know very often that Apple employees will wipe the returned iPhones clean before shipping them back to wherever they ship them.
When you say your old phone was "broken" does this mean it is dead and won't turn on?
Do you have a Time Machine backup of your computer, or a clone that might have this info on it?
Other than that I hate to say you may be out of luck. Time Machine and/or a cloning program performed regularily will inevitably save your a** in situations like this.
