IPhone 6 plus shows cellular usage out of box

I got my iPhone 6 Plus delivered and it shows 12 hours 20 Minutes of cellular usage out of the box. I checked with an Apple representative and they say it might be tested and hence the hours. Any ideas? Should I return and get another one?

If you put the camera right next to your ear when you have the camera working can you hear the OIS motors buzzing away as if they are constantly moving? How about the front camera? Is that working correctly?m There seems to be a few threads on here saying that the OIS for the 6 plus is a bit iffy, my best advice is to book in to your nearest Apple Store to have it looked at, If they can spot the problem they will either replace the whole handset or the camera (which takes an hour)

I purchased a new iPhone 5 and it shows 5 days 11 hours of cellular lifetime call time. I suspect someone had used this phone prior to selling it. Can someone tell me if I am correct. Shouldn't it show only the time that I have logged in calls since purchasing it?

I synced it with my iTunes account if that is how you restore from a backup. But my old phone shows 7 days and 2 hours call time and my new phone shows 5 days 11 hours.

Im an old apple user who likes keeping all his devices up to date. I ordered and iPhone 5 white and unfortunately it was chipped from 3 different places right out of the box. Now come my replacement white iphone 5 which is supposed to be fine. It has barely been a few hours i took it out of the box and there is a small chip on the screen. Note: chips on the first phone were on the aluminium frame where the screen seem is. Im writing this review just disappointed in my trust for the company thinking i will let it slide and keep using my chipped phone till a better android phone comes in and this one breaks properly. Any other people having this issue? I know getting two defective devices is beyond bad luck. I have pictures of the damages along with the imei if anybody wants to see?

This is not a site for reviews, there are dozens of such sites out there... if you want to right a review (you have not do so yet), go there and write one.

Take the device to an Apple store and exchange it or contact Apple Customer support to arrnage an exchange.

Iphone 4s no battery life out of box

hey guys this is my first thread so i hope this doesn't sound like a pathetic question but when i pulled the iphone 4s out of the box i had no battery life it woudn't even turn on. every other iphone i have had came with atleast 75% battery life. i had to let it charge for ten min before i could use it and everything seems okay the battery life isnt the best but its not horrible has anyone else had this happen? should i be concerned?

I composed an e-mail and sent but it has not posted as sent nor is it showing in my out going box. Where do I find it and has it been sent?

I composed an e-mail and thought it was sent. It is not posting in my out box nor my sent mail. I have retyped and sent two follow up cpies and none have been delivered and seem to be lost.

thanks,but not showing in sent, not showing in out box, and not showing in drafts. Its really disappeared, not just once but twice to the same person, different e-mails. I did have a weak connection and it held on sending for a while before going to can not down load mail, usually unsent mail will be held in the out box

Cellular usage by App

Somehow my Cellular usage went from 1.0GB to 1.6GB today and Ive just been driving around all day without even using my iPad. So some app must be causing the issue.. I suspect that is may be my work Good app that checks emails, but I don't know for sure...
Any recommendations on how to show Cellular usage by app?
Since LTE is 10x faster, we should get 10x more data... 20GB instead of 2GB... 2GB is just stupid.

All of your apps will use data but just a small amount per minute or two. It varies per application's purpose. From just checking your mail hourly to running a multiplayer game to online date chatting to GPS navigation, each pool a great deal of KBs per few minutes.
There is no application that says this application uses 10 KB a minute or 100 KB a minute. You just have to control which apps you visit. Pretty much you need to avoid just about every application on the iPhone.

My Iphone 4 has locked me out. Homescreen will show up but cannot get slider to open keypad. SOmetimes if I tap enough things the key pad will display. When I enter the passcode it will not register. If I hit each passcode number twice it will register but then tells me I have the wrong code. I also have boxes and rectangles that appear to highlight items which never used to come up. Anyone have any experience with something like this?

Why does my brand new iPhone 5 show 6 days of talk time under the cell usage section of the general settings ? Was my phone repackaged ?

Just curious if I can find this out somewhere ? I purchased new from A Verizon owned store .... When i go to general then usage and then cellular usage it says the phone was reset and that prior to the rest there was 6 days and 2 hours of talk time ? I also purchased a new iPhone 5 for my wife and checked her settings and hers does not show this usage.....
Just looking for some kind of logical explanation and it i should be concerned and return it....

That's one of the weird things.. it recognizes it maybe 10% of the time. And usually, only after I do the two-button reset. Problem is.. since it won't charge above 2%, anytime I try to do a restore or anything like that using iTunes, my device shuts off and I lose whatever progress I'd made.
So, an update... after reading through a bunch of similar complaints (there are literally 1000's of them so there's NO WAY this isn't somehow ios7 related, thanks a lot APPLE ) I decided to try a restore in recovery mode. After 3 hours and several disconnections... I ended up having to just set it up as a new iPad, as the restore did nothing. Weirdly though... as I was doing the restore in recovery mode.. I noticed I'd gotten up to a 10% charge.. higher than it's been since September, so after setting it up as a new device, I turned it off and plugged it in using the wall charger. 2 hours later and I was up to 38%. Still not great, as my iPad, before ios7 could've fully charged twice in the amount of time it took for me to now get 28% more of a charge. And that's with a fully cleaned out device.. so that really ***** and I'm now more confused than ever.
But I'm gonna leave it overnight charging and see what I come up with tomorrow. Sadly, when I paid $600 for it in February, I never expected to have to play "wait and see" with it...

Cellular Usage - iphone and ipad

hello i have an iPhone 4S and iPad Mini 2 (wifi version only), i only bought the iPad on Dec 2013 and i always try to search for public free wifi before attempting to use my iPhone as Personal Hotspot. The reason is that my cellular plan is only limited to 1GB per month cellular data and extra charge will be added if over the limit. They send me SMS about my cellular usage every week and my habit with my mobile and ipad is always less than 200MB per month. I don't play games and i don't download games, i don't update the iOS or download large apps , of course i never watch YouTube with the iPhone or iPad. Everything was perfectly normal but by the end of January i was notified that i had used over 3GB cellular usage on a particular week (third week of January), and of course then I am heavily charged. I have called their CS for several times about where the data was used but they refused to answer and said that it might be your Personal Hotspot being stolen by the others （while my Personal Hotspot always requires password and my password was not "abcdefg" or "1234567", the password was very randomly designed by me, mixed with numbers and English letters... It's not possible to guess out the password.
Note. I don't use iCloud and never used it. No Facebook
Ok, now my question is
could anyone help guessing why's that happening? is it that easy to hack into the wifi and consume my cellular usage when my password is not stupid 1234567 or abcdefg or any birthday dates something.
i now really don't know what's the bad i had done to let 3GB cellular usage be consumed in a week. I turn off Personal Hotspot when i don't use iPad.

When your iPad is allowed to access your iPhone cellular data connection over a WIFI personal hotspot there is much less control over which iPad apps are actualy allowed to use the 3G cellular.
When i look at the WIFI traffic from an iPad (WireShark), there is all sorts of communication active on the background Such as the iCloud storage service backing up pictures / mail when WIFI is active or push notofications.
On my iPad mini there is very data little on it, a bit of mail and a few pictiures. Nonetheless it managed to occupy a whopping 2.4Gb on the 5Gb iCloud storage capacity. When all this data moving happened, i can't tell exactly since there is no backup activity notification on a WIFI connection. What i do know iCloud backup not active when my iPad Mini cellular has a direct cellular connection. (not over a WIFI hotspot)

Delete partially copied movie file from iPhone. Shows grayed out in Videos on the iPhone but it doesn't show up in iTunes.

I have synced my iPhone 4S with iTunes and I got an error while copying one movie. Now this movie shows up grayed out in videos on the iPhone but NOT in iTunes. Hence, I cannot delete this partially copied movie from my iPhone. And since it is grayed out, the right-to-left swipe does not work. I have resynced with "no movies" option so that every movie would be deleted and indeed every movie was deleted except for the problematic one. I rebooted the iPhone several times in case it was a glitch. No success. I even tried tools like iExplorer and DiskAid but I cannot find this **** file. Is there any way to delete this partially copied file from the iPhone without having to restore it?

You can only watch the movie on the device you rented it on. Here's a snippet from the Apple Support site (italics mine):
If you download a rented movie on your computer: You can transfer it to a device such as your Apple TV (1st generation), iPhone, iPad, or iPod if it’s a standard-definition film (movies in HD can only be watched on your computer, iPad, iPhone 4 or later, iPod touch (4th generation or later), or Apple TV). Once you move the movie from your computer to a device, the movie will disappear from your computer's iTunes library. You can move the movie between devices as many times as you wish during the rental period, but the movie can only exist on one device at a time.
If you download a rented movie on your iPhone 4 or later, iPad, iPod touch (4th generation or later), or Apple TV: It is not transferable to any other device or computer.

I meant when they test a percentage of devices as part of quality control - to make sure that a particular batch of phones is defect free and market ready
The Call time is apparently the total time one spends talking on the phone between total resets and wipes
