Iphone 6 plus wifi connection not working

I don't know what the deal is but, I'm getting notifications of emails, and messages but when I go to the app I have nothing there. The problem has expanded and now apps aren't connecting to any wifi. I thought it might have been 3rd party apps, but now even the app store cannot connect. I've tried my home wifi, and my work wifi. Using my data plan, I have no problems connecting to anything. I'm thinking this is an IOS8 issue that needs a patch. If somebody has any other suggestions, I'm all ears!

All of my devices are on iOS 8.1. I gave my father my 64GB 5S with a clean install and he still has the issue as well. So, that makes my iPhone 6 Plus, my girls iPhone 6 and my fathers iPhone 5S not flashing LED on messages and sometimes calls. There aren't any custom vibrations enabled on any if the devices. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is it a known bug or am I just not doing something right here? i never had an issue before the iOS 8 release. Any help would be appreciated.

The problem would seem to be in the firewall in your router. Have you tried disabling it? I assume you've updated the router firmware, right? Consider bypassing the ISP provided router (using it as a modem only) and unsing another device such as an Aiport Express.

I am not computer expert it happen to me. I think it is not working for a touch on/ off so you have to push using your finger and hold and open to the right (like when you open a door). That worked for me I call it mannual opening. I did not get any help so I figured out the hard way.Let me know but I am for sure

Why is my wifi connection not working?

Phone states there is wifi connection but pages will not load up?

I recently found that downloading several apps caused my internet to crash, on more then just my iPhone.
I deleted them, turned my phone and the internet off then on, and it worked fine.
If youve downloaded any questionable apps, you could try deleting them? x

We need more info to troubleshoot. What do you mean by "not working?" Wireless switch is on? Home router or public networks? Please be more detailed in describing your issues.

IPhone 4S Wifi is not working! Cant switch on and If it does it wont connect!

Ever since I updated to the iOS 7.0.3, my WIFI (what i need the most as my data plan is only 3GB), wont connect/find my internet router or/and it wont switch on.
I have restarted the phone, restarted the network settings, restored the iPhone, Disconnected my router and re connected, and still NOTHING WORKS.
Im out of warranty. Its not a hardware problem... its deffinetly the software...
What eles is there to do?

I am using iphone 4s, suffering from the same wifi greyed out problem, this is preposterous. this issue has been goin on from almost an year and till now there is no response from Apple, at least they could given an explanation to their customers. I am really surprised as i thought Apple was different from the rest; but sorry to say not anymore.
Its really terrible to have a phone without a wifi. Can someone please help!
Some guys posted a video on youtube, where they show how this problem can be solved using a hair dryer.
It does help but then again the problem keeps on coming, it would connect for a while and then the wifi signal goes away from the phone. Really ****** off and dissapointed with Apple.

Iphone 4s internet connection not working despite having 3g when away from wifi

It works fine with wifi but when I leave the house and go out and about I can no longer connect to the internet despite having a 3g connection everywhere I go. I'm supposed to have internet connection on my contract.
My dad says its something to do with the APN but neither of us have any idea how to change it?

first try a reset, hold down the home/power button until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up, then try the going on safari.
if that doesn't work then give your phone carrier a call and see if they can resolve the issue.

It was working fine until yesterday where it suddenly stopped without an reason.

This was tested. I have the problem when trying to connect to any wifi router even in public places. The iphone does not detect any.

Could be. The phone comes with a one year warranty, make an appointment at an Apple store. If your phone is determined to be faulty, it will be replaced on the spot.

IPhone 5 Wifi Passwords not working: Unable to Join

I have an iPhone 5 OS 6.0.2 and am unable to join wifi networks except the one at home. What should be my first step? Restore from backup or reset network? How do I reset the network? (I hesitate to do that in case I then have trouble joining my home wifi.)

Go ahead and try to reset your network settings first. You can do that by going to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. This will make your phone restart, and delete any wifi networks listed in your phone. After your phone restarts, see if you can connect to your wifi at home. If you can, try those other networks. If not, you may want to try backing up and restoring your device. If THIS fails, you probably need a repair done through your warranty.

This issue requires a hardware repair. Restoring the phone will not fix the greyed out wi-fi. This is a know issue with the iPhone 4s. So basically you need to take in for service

Most likely the issue would be with the router settings or configuration. Wi-Fi routers need adjustments to settings periodically for optimized performance with the constant progression of wireless device technology. Below, I have included two articles. Nokia 701, mobile data & wifi connections not work...

I took my phone to Nokia care center, but now the mobile data is not connecting and the wi-fi is not connection as well.

They may have deleted the Access Point Names (APN's) during whatever procedure was carried out at Nokia Care. To re-add them you can contact your network operator to send you a SMS for your mobile APN. For Wi-Fi, you can scan for available networks and add your Wi-Fi APN back to the destinations folder.
