IPhone 6 ringer issue

I bought a ringer from iTunes and it keeps disappearing, going back to the default ringer and making me rebuy it. Does anyone know how to fix it?

CamJam123 after reading your post I went through Apple's online help process which included running a diagnostic check on the iPhone and submitting the information back to them. While the check appeared to indicate everything was good with the device it did schedule proceed to allow me to schedule an appointment for a repair.
I took the phone into my local Apple store, showed the genius tech what was going on, and they instantly replaced my device. The camera on the new phone works great.
While the tech hadn't seen this issue before, he did acknowledge that there had been several replacements already for various issues. Sounds like there may be some quality issues on various components (such as the iSight camera).

This is basically because of water vapours which get into the port for earphones at the top left of your mobile.
The problem is that your device might be thinking that the junk stuck inside the jack is actually a stereo plug connected, so it turns your built-in speakers off thinking you're jamming with your headphones on, though you're obviously not.
There used to be a fix for this problem via jailbreak by just deleting some file and making one terminal in the port disabled so that you could use ringer with and without earphones.
But now that most of you would have upgraded your software by now so i have got one simple fix for you guys.. and that is....... just try to remove trapped water vapours and possibly some rust that may have deposited there in the audio out (earphone port/ headphone jack) at the top left of your iphone.
In order to do that, just try a cotton bud which we normally use to remove earwax and clean the inner sides of audio port/ headphone jack or whatever you call it.
Its as simple as that.

When I get a call from somebody can i decide how many times the iphone rings before it goes to voicemail?

Cell phones do many things I don't care about, and iPhones do more things than any of them.
To each his/her own but my experience with cell phones is the complete opposite which goes way back when they were mounted in your car only. A range of features or settings I don't want or care about and if I happened to come across an available setting I might be interested in, it was a chore to return to the location where the setting was available since the user interface was so very poor. I continue to use a Razr 3m with Verizon for business and what a joke in comparison to me.
The iPhone does not do this so don't buy one if this feature is very important to you. At least you checked beforehand. No point in purchasing such a device that doesn't meet your needs or wants.
If not, then why not? I really want a good answer to this.
Not sure why not - maybe because this isn't a very common request. I've never used a cell phone that included such a feature. Apple doesn't answer questions here - this is a user to user help forum for technical support issues and questions only so we can only assume Apple chose not to include it or probably didn't even consider it but you can check with the provider regarding the number of rings allowed before a call goes to voice mail and if available, this would probably be a universal setting only - not by designated caller.

Please follow these steps:
- While the phone is on, remove the battery for 10 seconds. Reinsert, power on & retest.
- If issues persist place the phone in Safe Mode and test:

If you don't have the issue during Safe Mode then it would be a 3rd Party application causing the issue.
- If you still have no audio, **ensure all of your personal information is backed up and Hard Reset your phone:

**Please verify the below information before you complete a Hard Reset.
Your contacts generally back up to Backup Assistant or Gmail/Google. Your media generally backs up to an SD Card. You can redownload your applications by visiting google.com/play and choosing the My Android Apps.

You can turn it off by going to Settings > FaceTime and changing "iPhone Cellular Calls" to off

In other phones, you can hear the phone ringing and if it was connected to bluetooth, you could pick up the call from the bluetooth headset.
Here with iphone, if its connected to bluetooth headset, it only rings through the headset, which means that if you dont have the headset in the ear all the time, you cannot know that you have an incoming call or message.
Any ideas - solutions - comments please?

I'm having the same problem. I had a plantronics 975 (which I lost, sadly). When connected, the ringer would always be routed through the bluetooth and the iPhone's external speaker. When in silent mode, the iPhone would only vibrate, but I could still hear the ringer in the bluetooth.
I just bought a new Plantronics Voyager+. Now when it's connected, all sounds are routed to the earpiece - including the taps, etc. The iPhone's speaker doesn't ring at all, unless the bluetooth is disconnected or powered off. I'd really like to be able to hear both, like I was before. This is an iPhone 3G running iOS 4 (latest version, not sure what it is exactly). Haven't updated software/firmware in between bluetooths, just changed the earpiece.

This post has already been answered. Why are you plugging your own site with an answer that has already been given? Not to mention that the information you are handing out is incorrect. Sorry I don't fully understand your question but...
1. Turn off your caps lock - in a forum, it's the equivalent of yelling/screaming.
2. Turn your ringer up/down with the buttons on the side.
3. Put the phone on vibrate with the switch on the side.

If a call goes to my wife's iPhone using her iPhone phone number, why does my iPhone ring (different number)? we do use the same apple ID

Is iPhone Cellular calls enabled in the FaceTime settings? If so, uncheck that. A new feature of 8.1 is to enable calls to be received on devices using the same iCloud acct.

I believe you do that through your phone service provider. I wonder if you have unheard messages in your voice mailbox. I think some carriers use that mechanism - diversion to voicemail faster if the recipient has unheard messages.
I do not believe you can change this directly on your iPhone.

This is happening to me too. Couldn't figure out what was happening at first then I got a phone call and the ring came through the appletv. Playback was stopping when I would open a game or something else as well.

It sounds like you are not able to join your Wi-Fi network with the correct password on 1 out of many devices. I recommend the troubleshooting from the article named:

Restart your iOS device.
Update your device to the latest version of software.
Update your Wi-Fi router to the latest firmware2. For AirPort Base Stations, install updates using the AirPort Utility.
If that troubleshooting does not resolve the issue, I would next try these steps from further down the article:
Unable to connect to a Wi-Fi network
Verify that you're attempting to connect to your desired Wi-Fi network.
Make sure you're entering your Wi-Fi password correctly. Passwords may be case sensitive and may contain numbers or special characters.
Reset network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Note: This will reset all network settings including:
previously connected Wi-Fi networks and passwords
recently used Bluetooth accessories
VPN and APN settings.

According to this article Using iPhone on an airplane you should be able to listen to music with Airplay Mode enabled.
Make sure you have Music switched on in Settings > Store or your music won't download via Wi-Fi.

It may be that your Screen Curtain has been activated. This can be deactivated by triple-tapping the screen with three fingers.
Turn the screen curtain on or off. Triple-tap with three fingers. When the screen curtain is on, the screen contents are active even though the display is turned off.
