Iphone 6: Ringtone volume increases to max automatically

Hi everybody,
since a couple of days when i unlock my iphone 6 (iOS 8.1.1) using TouchId, the ringtone volume inceases to maximum automatically (almost eyerytime). A reboot of the phone didn´t show any improvement.
Do you have any idea how to fix this?

If restarting your iPhone didn't resolve this issue where your volume is increasing after unlocking your iPhone, the next step would be to reset the iPhone, and ultimately restore the iPhone back to its factory settings.
To reset your iPhone please follow the instructions below.
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
If the issue persists after resetting your iPhone, please back up your iPhone and then restore it back to the factory settings.

I've never been aware of a function like this in the past. You could create a personal ringtone that would last 30 seconds or less and set the volume on that ringtone to do that with an audio editor, such as Audacity.

you can connect an amplifier to the 3.5mm minijack but it will require batteries or AC power to amplify of cause

[Problem] Ringtone volume drops automatically

Hi all,
from 2-3 days I'm experiencing this bug/issue: ringtone volume drops automatically, randomly and without any reason. When it happens, I start a "battle" with iPhone: I increase (with side buttons) and it decrease ringtone volume!
I have already tried to restore and configure it as new one on iTunes, but the crazy thing is that this issue made is first appearance while I was setting language, at the beginning of initial settings!
I have an iPhone 4S 16GB updated with FW 5.1 and I'm becoming worried, because my first phone was replaced with this one for audio issue.

Did you already try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comeback again?
If this does not boring back a working volume control, and to rule out a software issue, set it up as new device, explained here:

If still no luck, you'll have to get it checked by visiting an Authorized Apple Service Provider or Apple Store next to your place.

Have you tried Windows Update in the Control Panel?
Many times it will find the newest supported drivers for Hardware.
Just be sure to install everything not just the Important ones.

The plastic cover was removed before I left the store and I have moved the volume up and down during, before and after phone calls. Have tried it in protective case and out of it. Impossible to hear calls unless phone is on speaker. There seems to be lots of comments re this. Is it a significant flaw? Can I fix it?

Microphone volume increases automatic

As the title says my microphone volume increases automtic , for example if I set it to 20% iit increaes automatic from time to time and makes a annoing noise.
using pulseaudio, and veromix-kde.

Just to let you know our music sounds ring was turn off and still have a low ringing volume .

Random volume increase and volume button

Hi there. I've been experiencing random volume increases while running and listening to music on my iphone 4S. The volume will sometimes increase to max level and occasionally won't even reduce if I manually try to reduce it. I've contacted apple and did a reset of all settings and restore and the problem seemed to occur less often but still happens.
Recently, after reading about others having this issue, I read that it could be the in-line mic headphones that cause this issue. I tried switching headphones but the issue still occurs. I also read that someone had an issue wherein if the just touched or wiggled the volume button that it would result in the volume icon appearing on the screen and would also cause the volume to rise on its own. I've discovered that I have a similar issue in that if I wiggle the reduce volume button I get the ringer icon to appear and that the volume will automatically increase on its own without actually pushing the button.
Anyway, do folks think that these issues are related?
I will be taking it in to a genius bar in a couple of weeks but was wondering if others have had this issues and if you folks think its a hardware issue since I can reproduce it by wiggling the volume down button.

Does anyone know how I can increase the volume on my iPhone 5s without jailbreaking the phone? Any add-on I can buy? Any app? HELP PLEASE! (My iPhone 4's volume was great!)

How to improve notification & ringtone volume?

I already saw in the forums that several People have the problem that the notification and ringtone volume is Very low, even when all the volumes are on max. And i didn,t see any solution to this problem. I already have the latest firmware version on my Phone, but icant seem to increase the volume.
Do you guys of sony have a solution for this? Don,t say that i'm the only person with this problem, because this entire forum is full of this problem.

Ringtone Volume

I made a ring tone that I like but can barely hear it when I set it up on the phone. I have it volume set to max but still it is very soft.
Is there any way to edit it in iTunes to up the volume? I am thinking that I should have done this when I created it. There does not seem to be a way to go back and re import it so to speak.
Do I spend a buck and try again or is there another option.

you can't edit the volume of the ringtone in itunes. I've tried to increase the volume on ringtones through the music library in itunes, but when you drag into the "ringtones" bar, I checked the volume and it reset to the middle.

Volume increase bug

So I was watching a movie with the TED app on my new iPad. Volume to the max, because the pad isn't all that loud.
I get an incoming email, the notification sound pings and it lowers the movie sound. The sound fades back up again, and now it is actually louder than before?! Which by the way is very nice, because it's much better.
Activating the multitask bar and going back to the movie restores the volume to the original lower level.
I also tested this in the YouTube app. I don't recall this kind of behaviour on my iPad 1, but I'll test it later.
Any ideas? The music limiter option in the settings is set to off by the way.

I seem to have fixed it by moving the volume slider for the ringtone and notifications in the general - sounds settings.
The moment it changed from the default halfway (50%) setting the sound of the videos increased to acceptable levels.

Airplay volume slider affects ringtone volume

Consider following usecase:
Using iPhone 4S (IOS 5.0.1) and AppleTV 2 (4.4.4)
Streaming music from iPhone to ATV2 with Airplay using the builtin Music-app (iphone-side)
When changing the Airplay volume with the slider on the iphone this also affects the ringtone volume of the iphone.
Normally I set the loudness for airplay to max, because I change it then via my HIFI-Receiver/TV.
But the next time u get a phone call, you will be wake...for sure.
