IPhone 6 screen damage out of box

Received my iPhone 6 on Saturday. After removing the protective foil I immediately saw that my screen has a big scratch right in the center of the screen. It seems like the oleophobic coating is scraped off because the scratches seem to be way more visible when the display is smudged with fingerprints.
Anyone else seen this problem on his device?
Went to Verizon Retailer (place of purchase) for an exchange but they are out of stock ... What are my other options? Apple said to go back to Verizon.

You have no other option. You've been told what you can do. You'll have to wait for a new phone.

Why iPhone 6 screen damage is not repaired in India?

Yesterday I accidentally dropped by iPhone 6 Grey 64 GB phone. The phone was working fine but I got cracks on screen. I went to Maple, Mumbai which is Apple Authorised Service Provider. They said they can't repair it and I have to Rs. 25150/- ($405) and they will get be replacement phone. I checked website and it says the cost of screen repair is only $109 which I found on https://www.apple.com/support/iphone/repair/screen-damage/ . I shown them this link, on which they said they don't repair the phone in India and here I have to go for replacement. I bought this phone just three months back in Rs. 62500 ($1000) and now I have to shell out $405 coz they can't repair the phone in India. What is the point of having service center if they can't repair it.
It's nightmare for Apple customer if their phone gets damaged accidentally in this country. I will be cautious now to buy any new apple products ever.

1st, u could just restart ur home, pressing the home and power botton together for few sec,if it wont work .....
2nd, try restore ur phone with itune, and it ****** me off last time when i dont normally backup with my itune after the icould thing showup, so restore with icloud backup wont 100% work, if not just try restore from older icloud backup. if it still wont work.....
3rd hand it over the the apple dealer... they are the pro... never ever open it up urself or bring it to one of ur so call SMART FRIENDS, they will freak up ur phone even worst.... i think this method will definately solve ur problem..

You cannot buy Apple Care+ to cover damage already present. Your warranty is void for that damage already.

Iphone 5c screen popping out right side

hello
recently ive notice that the screen on my iPhone is slowly popping out on the top right hand corner...
ive seen other people with problem but its usually to the left hand side of the phone and people say its cause the battery is bulging, but the battery to the phone is on the left hand side but my screen is popping out on the right
every time i try to push the screen back in it just pops out again so i'm not entirely sure whats coursing it
when i look at where its popping out i can see the light for the back of the screen

When did you purchase it? You get a year of hardware coverage unless they say it's accidental. Do you purchase apple care? I'd take it into an Apple store.

IPhone 6 screen blacks out

My iPhone 6 screen keeps shutting off and the phone does not respond, until I do a reset (home/power button). This started happening after the 8.1.2 upgrade, and now happens very frequently. If I call my iPhone from another line, I get a ringing tone (not switched off), but theres absolutely no response on my iPhone. Can someone please help me? Sadly, it didnt work. Went into a lot of trouble restoring from the iCloud (I have about 20GB of music and it all had to be downloaded all over again), and the problem is still there. I also did a restore, setting up the phone as a new phone, and the problem is still there. One thing I noticed is that the phone is heating up a lot more than it did earlier. Based on whats on the forums, it seems that I have to get the phone replaced, but I can do this only when I am in the UK next time. Till then, I guess I'd have to suffer in silence

How to unlock iphone when screen damaged

m iPhone5 has been damaged and can only displays half the screen (the other half is 'gone/ black'), thus can not display full screen to unlock phone. Want to backup the 'damage' phone content to MacBook, but iTune requests phone must be unlocked first. Any solution?

I managed to get a replacement of a 'service conditional' iPhone5 for AUD $244.55 + 10%GST, given the device was still under the warranty, from the Sydney Apple store.
Note, even the servicing guy was unable to unlock the 'damaged' phone (and they do not handle data) and I have to fall back to the last backup.

Your warranty is valid only in the US and Apple will not accept international mail, it must be brought in person. Have a friend in the US take it for warranty service, otherwise you are on your own.

Iphone 6 Screen glitching out

My iPhone 6 (Verizon 64GB CDMA) is glitching out. It starts with it getting fuzzy, with horizontal lines of distortion, then within about 10 seconds it progresses to getting block-pixelated with flickering and then it eventually deteriorates to black. I have to hard-reset the phone with the power+home button technique, sometimes a few times before it boots up correctly. Help!

TTake to Apple store or call. Needs replacement. I would try restoring as new first just in case.

my new year is not so good actually i cracked my i phone 6 screen and it has a hairline kind of fracture on its screen...though it's working absolutely fine..what should i do...i went to apple authorized dealer and he told me that they will replace my phone but asking 23 thousand rupees to do so....i told them is it possible to replace the screen only they right away said no.....only screen cannot be replaced...cause it,s the only thing which has been hampered.

Having it serviced by any 3rd party permanently forfeits all rights to service from Apple or any AASP.
Apple does not sell iPhone parts.
Apple Stores in some countries can replace the display. If that service isn't available there, then the only legitimate option is to have the phone replaced.

Iphone 5 screen damage

Recently dropped my iphone 5 resulting in a cracked screen, now there is a yellow spot/stain around the crack site. I'm wondering whether replacing the screen will fix the yellow spots.

Take the iPhone to an Apple store genius bar for evaluation. They can tell if the entire phone needs to be replaced or if they can replace the screen. Some Apple stores in the US are now able to do repairs on the iPhone 5 series.

In November the phone was purchased but when plugged into computer the phone does not turn on. Also the phone was not backed up to the computer is there any other way if we can figure if this phone is under warranty.
